I guess the idea of burning and buying back can actually help to protect the investors to some level.Though not many dev are willing to buy back these days,rather they want to dump on you and take their profit.
The biggest advantage is that you will get access to a very perspective token, even before you will be able to buy this token/coin on the exchanges. If an ICO is really perspective, you will also be able to earn money on this investment.
Aside from discounted rates when purchasing tokens before public launching, what else can a potential investor benefit from investing in an initial coin offering?
What do they do when the coin comes to a crash when it goes public? How do these companies protect the interests of their investors?
I think the advantages of investing in ICO is the same as when you’re buying coins in the crypto market. You get to invest in a project early and participate in it to be able to benefit from it as time goes on. I don’t really see much advantages apart from benefiting from it later as an early participant, when the price starts to increase. And don’t forget that it isn’t all ICO that makes success, so when choosing, choose carefully. What do they do when the coin comes to a crash when it goes public? How do these companies protect the interests of their investors?
its not wise to invest in any ico that were popping like bubbles nowadays because of the red market
In my opinion. the main advantage is the price of coins is still cheap because it has not entered the trading market. we can get additional bonus coins when buying coins that have not been released to the trading market. aka but we have to be able and be careful in investing in ico because there are so many ico that fail so that it will harm us. the price of ico is very cheap and it is very tempting for us to buy it, but ico could have fallen when it entered the trading market.

Many icos do not even have the goal of creating a successful project, they only care about the money they can make with the investors and by selling their coins when and if the market skyrockets, that is why people are not investing in icos anymore since the advantages that they give are minimal compared to the incredible risk of losing everything you had invested. the projects reach their full potential and create a working successful product.

I still believe that participating in ICO can provide benefits in the future. In some ICO's that I follow, coins / tokens from their projects they still soar when entering a pretty good market, even with the current market conditions. But we have to be able to analyze well the development of the project. I am still confident that the future market conditions still have good prospects and with that belief I still participate in some of the existing ICO's. A good project can always overcome all obstacles in the crypto world.

Today is a time that any investment in ICO brings absolutely no profit and it is obvious. The peak of demand for the initial supply of coins took place in the spring of this, but people are trying hard to buy tokens for ICO. The market showed that today it is much more profitable to buy tokens on the market 10-20 times cheaper and not wait for six months of distribution and an incomprehensible scenario.
Projects in stagnation, all watered with blood and the team simply can not cope with it and pull a single project out of the pit. The whole market is tied to bitcoin and this is the main problem! If the market changes and projects will not depend on the price of bitcoin, they are likely to take off alone, and now all we see is a General bearish trend!
The only advantage that we can get in investing in ANY ICO is the early birds promotion.

This year I can see that investing in ICO is not profitable if you want a profit in an earliest time, much better to buy tokens in an exchange after ICO because almost all ICOs today crashed and lost almost 90% of its ICO price one best example is the ICO from the ico Im supporting lately ico price is $1.4 and after hitting the exchange price is $0.02 at hitbtc.
i think, maybe the more utilized is the purpose of the program itself, such as for the development of banks, infrastructure that maybe make the community of coins rise.

Of course the advantage of participating in ICO is that we get an abundant Bonus, so we benefit if we buy ICO during Pre-sale because there are so many bonuses that are offered, but ICO for this year is not good, so it is difficult to find potentially profitable projects.
I do not prefer to invest in ICO specially today that the market never recover. Most of ICO are experiencing financial crisis and most of them turned into scam or extending their token sale. A lot of ICO that I participated but all of them are failed. Even it is profitable in investing in ICO, it is too long to be waited.
right, at the moment many ico are experiencing dumps, after listing in the market, and the price is far from the price of ico, of course this makes investors wait longer to get profit

I think, What makes investing in ICOs advantageous is that you could get an early advantage in lets say that coin which you invested went mooning, you got the chance to buy more coins than when it has already set a high value, But the thing is, you could just support and trust the team that their work would be a job well done. In my opinion this is the main advantage and the only advantage that you can get in joining an ICO.
I agree with you.Once the ICO had successfully end up reaching the highest market cap,you as an investor will also benefit the most.You can earn a very huge profit in an instant.So once you choose to be an investor,make sure you know the ICO well and the potentials of the the team behind it.
An investor benefitting from an ICO does not have anything to do with them reaching the highest market cap, it is all about just generating more funds for the team to be able to work and develop the product if they already have one and be able to launch it into the world for real life usage, most especially when it comes to marketing as well, so in this case, you are more like having a share in the product or company.Moreover it sounded so simple that way, but in reality most of these teams always end up backing out from the project and render it useless without any form of development, which is one of the reasons as an investor when investing in the ICO space, you really have to always be careful.

now ICO cannot be trusted anymore, investors are bored with the behavior of the SCAMMER who always escapes investors' money after the ICO event is finished, when the project is really done, the developer cannot fulfill the expectations of the investor, so there are a lot of losses caused by the garbage project

yes you are right, but nowadays very few projects have a successful team. many projects fail and make investors disappointed because they have been deceived. ico really benefits us, because we can get money from here. it's not easy now to choose a good and promising ico, so in my opinion it all depends on our luck. the projects reach their full potential and create a working successful product.

The customers and investors can have an advantage when they will invest in an ICO because when the project is being launched , the bounty project will have the token sell and crowd sell of tokens in which they offer variables discounts ,when you invest in their ICOso that is the advantages if the investors to have lower cost of tokens because of the ICO promotion and offer.
