Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
What do you want to hear?

if you are talking about how safe? then this is not that friendly because if you wanted to invest money inside ? then best to learn from your self.

Never be greedy , and never be stupid to invest without checking from here and there.

this market is not that worth for those who wanted easy money.
Ain't a surprise why newbies will be wondering upon seeing the situation, they don't have any experience which is why I'm not surprised as well as why they are panicking. Not that I say they will quit trading or even leave this but I encourage them to understand the volatility of the market and also adapt to the situation as this is very important in order for them to survive and become successful.
Learning is such a great opportunity to enjoy the market and a sort of familiarization, losing can disappointing but that is how it really happens in trading.
volatility is the main risk that will make beginners panic when they trade. Experience is really needed to be able to train their emotions, train how to deal with the market with high volatility. At first I also felt that way, but when I had a lot of experience I was able to control everything, although not completely.
loss will definitely happen, we will learn from what has disappointed us.

The best advice for beginners who are just seeing the crypto market for the first time is to learn every aspect of trading. Learn and while practicing. Technical and fundamental analysis is very important, you need to know the basics first. and don't get caught up in hype, FOMO, investment scams and a few things that make trading worse.

So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
The advice I would give to newbies is not to start inventing in the market, just as they can have good luck making some successes, I do not recommend that they start gambling with trading, because they simply will not be able to win much and in the The moment they start to lose, it will be a free fall or a domino effect and the idea is to do terading knowing and having many good arguments as a base, and in case they are wrong, Loren will realize why they failed. Some of the newbies always trade thinking that what they think will happen because they just say or do randomly, and that is the least I would recommend.
Gambling with the money is never recommended for newbies, a strict no-no. This can be from taking big risks based on market movements or simply moving from Spot trading to Margin or Leverage trading. Either way is going to go South. At this point it is better to wait and see how the market moves, a bull trend has picked up, which needs to sustain.

Most newbies make this mistake and they think easy money is possible from these risky moves while in reality they end up losing more than they can make. This leads to a reluctance in trading and they start to abhor the crypto market. These are also the people who will then go around saying that bitcoin is not worth putting money in and that it is too risky to make money from. While there are risk takers who end up winners, they are not the majority of the trading population, this should be kept in mind when someone new enters the market.

Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
We have seen this situation in the market from time to time One year is perfectly good but in 2-1 years the market is in very bad condition. But those of you who are new should never invest or trade in this market and trade or invest if you have good knowledge. And no one will ever do futures trading in this random market, everyone should refrain from doing futures trading.
To new don't have to do anything for trading. What is the major problem is to understand and they know the concept of what you are about to do and what you are doing, because some of us don't know that before someone may find itself into the community of bitcointalk maybe the person have a qualified knowledge of threading from another way or angle before coming to bitcointalk community. It is not that and I am condemning your advice or your encouragement to the newbies, but neither and giving you my own theory concerning future trading.

I hope most newbies are willing to listen to the experiences of others. Because even if you are willing to tell them almost everything that you know but if they're not willing to listen then that's nothing.
It's all about being patient and avoidance of being greedy in this market. If you are a greedy person and you're wanting to earn more, you're unlikely to control your discipline. That's how important it is because many not only traders but investors too have lost a lot with that.

Some newbies get too overwhelmed because of the wrong mindset to the extent that they disregard the risks of crypto investment. Yes, greed could make you fail. You should focus on learning and exploring things about the market movement so you'll be able to deal with every market season. Self-discipline is also important so you'll know when to buy and when to sell. Be wise in choosing a good coin. DYOR is very important especially if you're a beginner. You have to be patient so you'll be able to make the right decisions.
Yeah, all they think is that they can make an easy profit just as what they can see with those people sharing their greatest success in trading. It's always the case that they should look at but realize how hard and the hardships that person went through.
It's not the daily profit that they should look at but the stability of these people that have gone through bears and bulls and still manage to get up with all of those changing situations whether in profit or in losses. It's like not just a trading game but also about mentality and emotions.

If you're seeing this for the first time, then you're relatively new to crypto. If you've been in crypto for a long time, you've seen far worse. Been here, done that, been more than here, done more than that. You'll get there if you stay long enough.
We are talking first timers on here which does basically means that they are not aware on how this market behaves or how it do works and in terms of volatility and if this would be your first time then it
would really be just normal that you would really be freaking out on seeing your portfolio does move on extensive or huge percentage on a single day which if you arent get used to those fast-pace movements then you would really be having these bad and negative impressions towards it.

Its normal and all of us did really pass or experience this time since we do all start on being a noob but on the time that you are gradually making some awareness and experience
then you would really be changing up on how you do deal yourself and make yourself efficient on this market.

Yeah but that's kinda my whole point in pointing out the oxymoron in OP. You can't be talking about first timers if they're referring to people who've "been in crypto for a long time".

I'm not dismissing how it can be for first timers. I'm saying you're 100% a newcomer if this is your first =)

Witnessing a bear market is a matter of time. Bleeding from it is an initiation rite Wink

Bitcoin = Financial freedom
Bitcoin jumped to greater high than its previous one after every bear market that is the only lesson is enough for everyone and stop being attracted by the hype of new projects which just get along with the trend. Moreover no one can outperform the market so don't rely on advices anymore than is the only advise that I want everyone to follow so all these manipulation and influence will be liquidated or more precisely diluted over time.

They said there are two ways to learn the lesson or experiences in life, first is through your own experiences and second is through other experiences. Some people write their own experiences and some will just talk it out to you. You just need to find ways to learn their lesson without trying to experience what they've been through and luckily people write a book about their experiences.

So the only advice I can give to you OP is to read; there's a lot of information you will find in this forum or you could just simply google it or buy a book on how people make it through the crypto market.

people who have been in the crypto market for a long time, I don't think will be surprised by the dump that happened. The condition may surprise some new people, even most of them will panic with their assets.

those who have been in the market for a long time, will not be too bothered by the situation. they had seen a much worse situation. I believe what is seen now is a greater opportunity for long-term investments made.
rather than contemplating losses, I think it's better to wake up and start planning long-term investments. I guess that's what more people who have been in the crypto market have been doing for a long time.

Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?

Many newbies who come into the crypto industry start wasting their time on this inefficient and high-risk activity. Without knowledge, without experience, without a strategy, they try to take part of the liquidity into their pockets in an extremely volatile market.

It's obvious that most of the beginners who step into crypto for the very first time already see themselves making profits. They never for once get to entertain the idea that there could be some loses or even, loses before hoping to make even a $ as profit. With that, you see them risking more than  they could bear without any proper analysis and then you see them in loses.
This becomes the obvious reality for them on crypto and as such, you see them finding it hard to invest.

One thing they should know is, in the crypto market, its simply exchange of ideas and resources. The value that flows in its charts is simply from one trader to another. You can't come into a market where you've got little experience and expect to win wen we've got pioneers that are just as much, after the same course.

Best thing to do remains that you give studying a huge chance, you could buy bitcoin on the sideline and hold, when the time is right for you to start some kind of trading if you must, ensure you go small and periodically, analysing every step of the way and you gradually build an approach of your own towards trading.

No one thought it strange to put two seemingly contrasting requirements side by side?

"been in crypto for a long time"
and
"seeing this [bear] market for the first time"

cannot possibly exist in the same person.

If you're seeing this for the first time, then you're relatively new to crypto. If you've been in crypto for a long time, you've seen far worse. Been here, done that, been more than here, done more than that. You'll get there if you stay long enough.

Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
I am very sure that people who are in this recent market situation for the fist time will be worried enough, panic, and also afraid of how the market will be in the next. they may think that this si exactly the end of crypto, moreover if added with various FUD that is spreading. It will be enough to make them afraid extremely.
But, that is why before going to the crypto market, we always say one thing you must be ready not only for the profits but also for the loss as the risk of crypto. If you are willing to read and learn, you may get important knowledge and experience about how the cycle of crypto itself. In this case, I am sure that wiser people will do wiser decisions even for this current market, and even if they are new.

The sad fact is that most newbies only think about how much profit they will make from crypto. That's what ends up many newbies who make
the wrong decision, they think crypto can make people rich instantly. Therefore, many newbies who first see a bear market like now will panic
and immediately sell all the coins they have at a low price. As you explained, with less knowledge, newbies consider the bear market to be
the end of crypto. Because newbies are not prepared for a bear market, they will never predict that crypto will crash suddenly.

Whereas for people who understand how the crypto world works, the bear market is a great opportunity to collect potential coins. I think
the important thing for newbies is not to rush into crypto without any preparation. They have to learn about crypto properly first, and then they
have to be able to think critically and don't panic if something bad happens. If they do experience a loss during a bear market, take that loss as
a lesson, so they won't repeat the same mistake in the future. Then we have to remember that success in the crypto world requires a long process,
so never give up on the failures that we experience.

Hold your horses!
They say you should not be making any moves when the market is reacting aggressively. All you have to do is keep it cool and only step in for the coins which are comparatively stable to rest of the market. Off course, Bitcoin is another story and you can buy it any time. I'm mostly focused on Bitcoin and few other alts which I always prefer in my portfolio.
Well, the cool idea is to stick with Bitcoin when the market is crashing, taking altcoins is a risky decision. However, playing games with the market and taking the opportunity while prices are cheap gives us a chance to earn more when it rallies back. Yet, it can't be instant and this has become a problem for some newbies, they are not prepared for it as in their mind crypto investments are easy money.
Many of those who are starting believe that Crypto represents making easy money and they mess with that idea, what they do not expect is that they can crash when weighing like this, because in reality it is not like that, this is not easy money, what is there Sometimes volatility, or high volatility can give us some benefits, sometimes it can become our worst enemy, going very against our commercial decisions and this is what should be avoided at all costs, above all, get rid of that. that crypto is easy and anyone can get rich quick.

And with this type of current market, its always a challenge to stay patient as its the only way you'll survive and will still be profitable when the market turns bullish.

The only way to get into profit is not only during bull market in the business of cryptocurrency that is for traders. Traders don't really worry about bull or bear market because both ways are profit taking for it but the bear is a big dislike for hodlers because they only make their coins increase in value during this time of bull. This is clearly the difference in the ways profit can be reached.
