Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
If the market is getting to you, it's okay to take a break for a while. Do something non crypto related. If you read, you'd know that, history always repeats itself. It means that the market will rebound. And no matter what any bitcoin coach or guru out there will tell you about buying the dip, never loan money to do that. I'll say this another way- invest the money that you know you can afford to hodl.

The biggest advice I can give is that you do not trade if you do not know how to do it, I recommend that you do not follow group signals or much less take expensive courses where they only teach you technical analysis, I recommend that you read books that help you think and understand how the market moves, in what direction it goes and that you learn to interpret the volume, apart from after you do all this, if you want if you take the technical analysis courses you want, but it is so that you understand that the market does not it moves because the chart has a figure shape or something, the market moves due to other factors.

Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
To learn about what bitcoin is and how it works before jumping into buying it.  Read the historical charts before placing a first buy orders. This will reduce the number of traders coming in at the wrong price.

A good understanding of how to keep the wallets safe from hackers and scammers is also important for newbies which is a major source of lost coins.

Specific to the bear market this is the time to buy, but observation is also important at the first onset. So maybe dummy trading would be a good thing.
This is a problem with many of the newbies that come to this market, they are interested in making profits fast but they do not take the time to actually look at the price history of bitcoin at all to see that its movements can be very extreme if we compare them to other assets, then when those people happen to experiment those movements they feel completely lost and that is when massive losses happen, also many people do not really understand the nature of cryptocurrencies at all and don't seem to know that if you happen to lose your coins and they are out of your wallet then is impossible to recover them unless the hacker or the scammer that got your coins decides to return them, something that is very unlikely, and as such it is imperative to take care of our coins to the best of our ability.
Stick with the basics
Dont make yourself get interest with those high or big gains
Dont make yourself believed on easy profits
Dont be greedy
Dont be in a rush on learning everything

As a noob then it would be understandable that we are really prone to lapses and errors since we are just new and doesnt have knowledge
but on the time that we are gaining those things then this would be an another story.

Hold your horses!
They say you should not be making any moves when the market is reacting aggressively. All you have to do is keep it cool and only step in for the coins which are comparatively stable to rest of the market. Off course, Bitcoin is another story and you can buy it any time. I'm mostly focused on Bitcoin and few other alts which I always prefer in my portfolio.
Well, the cool idea is to stick with Bitcoin when the market is crashing, taking altcoins is a risky decision. However, playing games with the market and taking the opportunity while prices are cheap gives us a chance to earn more when it rallies back. Yet, it can't be instant and this has become a problem for some newbies, they are not prepared for it as in their mind crypto investments are easy money.

When BTC is up, don't get irrationally exuberant and think the market is going to continue to go up forever. Have an exit strategy. When the market is up take some profit. You'll feel much better when the market is down if you took profit

Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?

Personally, I have already seen similar events in the crypto market and I can say that sooner or later the situation will definitely change. Whether this change will be for the better or worse, only time will tell, but from practice, I have already seen how after each market fall, there is a growth in the end. Of course, there may be another trip to the moon, as well as an even greater fall, it will all depend on your faith in cryptocurrencies. You just need to know that there is a crisis going on right now and as soon as it ends, growth should begin. Of course, you won’t go far on faith alone, but if you are an investor, you must understand that any investment is always a risk, which means you need to be able to wait and not make hasty decisions.

For newbies never stop learning about crypto so you can gain idea of what you're getting into. Remember that investing has risk and crypto investment is not different to other investment opportunity out there. Just keep in mind that the bearish market is only temporary so dont panic if it takes longer to recover. Lastly, learn to be patient remember the saying "good things will come to those who wait" so if you want to be a huge gainer dont mind the current price and continue holding your coins.

Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?

If you are holding Bitcoin then just have patience price will surely recover even if it will take months to years but for sure it won't pass the halving on 2024.  If you have extra money try to DCA for maximum profit.  This had been an effective investing strategy  for many of us.
This is advice not only for newbies and advice for all investors, the core key to success in the market is patience. Even if you buy bitcoin at any price, even if it is much higher than others, all you need to do is be patient and wait for a bull market to appear before you sell.  Your efforts will be rewarded in a well-deserved manner.

To those who are actually witnessing the bear market for the very first time, here is my advice to all of them. I will love to say you guys shouldn't worry, because that's actually how Bitcoin works. It falls and rises again, and that's why it's always advisable to only invest an amount you aren't going to use for a long while, so if incase the market doesn't go as planned, at least you still have enough time to recover the money since the need for it  isn't that urgent, by leaving your Bitcoin in the wallet without selling for another bull market when the price will definitely rise again

Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
- keep yourself ready for more dumps
 - help yourself to keep calm and think this is just temporary
 - learn to ignore the market decline and focus on our goal
 - sometimes we need not check our portfolio every day

Bear season is a big challenge for newcomers but if they are aware of this situation before investing, I don't think this is surprising. But I think they have been prepared and ready to accept reality.

Be positive. The market is not just all about going to the top, but it has certainly its own lows and uncertainties. So do not make wrong moves like panic selling or leaving the market because all these things are only for temporary reasons. The crypto market is consistently moving, and when the bearish season will be over, the bullish one will certainly be around. So if you to make the most of profits in the future, then consider buying a lot of bitcoins by now so you can sell them at a highly profitable value in the future.

It has not really been long I started trading and I can't really say am a professional, but atleast have witness bear market before and I know what I did to survive it. My advice to newbies coming to crypto space to always learn how to hold, we won't be having bull run always, definitely their will be bear market so whenever their is bear market always learn to hold and don't panic and sell.

Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
Learn from your mistakes. Be consistent.
Even though this is your first, I believe you will learn a lot or already learned. If you are still here for the long term, you will be able to use those learnings in the future and become ready for the next different situations.
I remember before last 2017-2018 market when it was my first time too and yeah it really hurts, I lost too much. But when the market started to recover last year, I applied my learnings and become profitable.

That's how a good investor and trader should be, being able to admit his mistakes and learned from them. After all, making mistakes in the market excuses no one, but it should form a good motivation after that. Because if you just keep on repeating the same mistakes again, that means you did not grow and make progress in your investments, the reason why you end up losing more often. The market is highly volatile that makes it unpredictable, so you should always be firm with your decisions and do not just create movements if you are not aware of its own effects.

Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
Do not panic. The market price fluctuations are just normal because we are currently witnessing a bearish market scenario, and this will only be temporarily. If you want not to fall for losses, then do not sell your coins at a loss. Just stay calm and continue observing the market. Once the market falls for a deeper correction, always be smarter and take advantage to buy a lot of promising coins while the market allows you. Once the market turns into bullish, you can never do these things again.

yeah so many guys above me said really great things, but believe me bro  Grin I am witnessing this bear market many times but sometimes I still get pain in the chest very hard  Grin Grin the best things is wait and be patience and try control your trade emotions  Cheesy
Such a sensation never really goes away since it is an instinctive reaction to what it is happening, even if we know the market will eventually recover our instincts are telling us that this is something bad from which we should get away, which is why so many people panic and sell their coins even when intellectually they know they should not do it, and only those which are able to overcome those instincts will survive for long enough to witness the next bull market and get the profits they deserve.

To be honest, I would advise you to first study the market conditions well enough, and then work. For it is worthwhile to understand that working without experience is quite risky.

Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
Stay hopeful and keep hodling, don't ever panic sell at a loss, this is not the first time this is happening, this is actually the second time I am experiencing a bear market, and i can tell you that i felt exactly the same way you feel now in 2018 after 2017 bull run, i bought most of the altcoins i held then at their all time high, i was patient with them all, i staked those that offer staking and used some others some liquidity provision, all this helped me to hold and though some never saw their all time high again, others later paid off and covered for the other projects i lost money on..

if you Hold Bitcoin, dont sell it at a loss, keep hodling and stay hopeful, if you are buying altcoins, only buy already established alts at this time, dont go for new projects except you think they are very promising and the price highly undervalued.
In all, dont give up, the market will always recover and you will make your profit if you are patient.
