Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
Just continue to learn, and trade based on your own analysis. The market is very volatile and if the newbie didn’t do his own research, there’s a high possibility for them to lose the money. Trading is not easy for every newbie, just take it easy and learn every steps so you can be good, be more patience as well. You can be more successful once you already know what to do during bear market.

My advice would be to have a lot of patience, people had a lot of time to learn more about the bear markets before facing one but most likely many of those same people refused to do so as they were too happy to obtain profits during the bull market, and now they have to learn about this market while also experiencing it at the same time, which is by far the most difficult way to learn, so they need patience more than anything, the bear market at some point will end and only those which can keep holding their coins will be able to enjoy the full bull run that comes next, so while it is difficult to endure such a massive drop in the price it is something we must do.

Don't panic when we experience massive downfall prices, Take it as an opportunity to buy or to make profit from the market. This is were I failed to do last bear market, Getting myself down because of the bear market makes me lose the big opportunity that other people take. If you came from the recent bull market, It would be nice if you stored some stable coin or fiat to fuel your future crypto purchases. Buying on the dip would be a very good move especially if those reaches a massive support, Being ready of having a fund would make it easy for you to make a purchase.

Just be knowledgeable about crypto, have a funds to fuel up your crypto purchase, take advantage of the worst scenarios. and accumulate as much as you can.

If you are holding Bitcoin then just have patience price will surely recover even if it will take months to years but for sure it won't pass the halving on 2024.  If you have extra money try to DCA for maximum profit.  This had been an effective investing strategy  for many of us.

Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?
Even though they have been in the crypto world for a long time, it does not mean that the person fully understands the ins and outs of crypto. This is only based on individual experience. Because crypto knowledge doesn't have a major like you in lectures that can easily get fixed material or theory. Sometimes even though it takes a long time, it is clear that understanding can be obtained from the type of person who is diligent, deep in the investment world, or just trading. The composition will be different according to the purpose sought.

Take time to analyze that this has to happen but the market won't be on this situation forever.

I know how bad it feels when your investment has lost that much. But you're not the only ones that are in loss here, as someone who has experienced bears.

I've learned that those people that have understood the cycles are the ones who wins on this market. As said about halving, it will make the market go bullish again. It's not just a coincidence but this is the time for you to be more patient.

The worst is yet to come!  Seriously people are looking at bitcoin like it's flattened out its a mirage.  Altcoin volume will dry up and dip and bitcoin I could see slowly retracing back a bit more.  With economic uncertainty in the air it's only gonna exasperated the issue.  My best advise would be to not go all in right now.  Cost average into bitcoin so you can lower your cost if it slides yet have a stake in the game if it does actually spike up.  Be prepared for.tough times ahead though.

Patience will help a lot in this situation. It may have been repeatedly said but it is the only way.
You cannot force it when there's really nothing that can be done. Just like what happened when the last bear came. It went below $3k if my memory serves me correctly, you'll get mad just thinking about how far it went down but at the end of the day, you cannot do anything about it.
Perhaps if you have some spare money or you sold at the peak, you can use that to just pile up more cryptocurrencies that are trusted and just wait for another pump to come.

I don't take loans, ask for sig if I ever do.
If you're panicking about what's happening right now, look at the market charts but zoom out. Observe and see how the pattern of dumps and pumps has always happened and that it's something natural. See how price dumps have always recovered and probably more. Now, look at how long it took for those scenarios and start honing and understanding how much your patience is in play here. After that, I'd honestly just let you think for it yourself. If you want to keep hodling but are doubting, just repeat the cycle of checking the charts and reminding yourself that you're hodling for the long term.

That beat market is mostly a result of the collapse of overleveraged cryptocurrency-related companies, which causes investors to suffer significant financial losses.

Consider the recent issues involving Voyager, Blockfi, Celcius, and 3AC, which stopped their deposit and withdrawal activities, causing billions of user funds to be locked up as a result of the market crash. Point is, having a non-custodial wallet that lets you grant full authority over your funds is a must rather than using vulnerable lending/exchange platforms as your main wallet to avoid such unprecedented financial repercussions.

Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?

Market works in cycle: bulls and bears. In bull run the price is going up, majority of the coins are going to reach their all time high. But how can we earn more profit in bull run? Then the answer is that when the price is really down in the bear market, that is the time to buy because they are very cheap and just have the mental toughness to hold and wait for the next bull cycle.

So if you are seeing this market for the first time, don't be discouraged, on the contrary, take this opportunity to accumulate.

Any advice from those who have been in crypto for a long time for those who are seeing this market for the first time?

Learn about Bitcoin price cycles.
Learn about DCA.
Learn to have patience.

If you try do day trading, learn with small amounts, which you do afford to lose. If you try to invest, DCA. If you are unsure what to do, learn util you're sure (just make sure you finish your learning well before next ATH).
I think that you're pretty much fortunate. Crypto winter is imho one of the best times to get into Bitcoin. Whether you invest or not yet, the experience remains.

...gambling responsibly. Do not be addicted.
Read about bitcoin halving and how it may influence the price if cryptocurrencies.
Know that trading is very risky, it is not gambling but consider it as gambling for starter because it can take money like gambling, I mean losses.
Do not use the money you can not afford to lose to trade
Long term investment is profitable, especially in bear market like this.
Be careful of people that provide signals, bots and copy trading. People will only require money from you but they do not care if you gain or lose and you may even lose after paying them.
Learn trading from scratch
Know that newbie traders will surely lose, use the money lesser than the amount you can afford to lose to start trading.
