Is it true that new altcoins are the best to invest in right now? Someone said you can easily make better profits from new projects than investing in old altcoins that have already x their values already, what do you think? Good or bad idea.
Yes and NO.

Yes to part where you can make better profits from new projects than investing in old altcoins because you are the pioneer of the project and if it becomes successful, you will be the one who will get the most profit because you bought their token at the start of the development of the project.

No to the part where new altcoins are best to invest right now. New altcoins are very prone to scam and only a few projects are becoming successful. Many projects only live for months but because of some factors like lack of community, lack of investors investing in their project and the developers themselves, often times it ends up as a scam or a rug pull.

Is it a good or bad idea? Well, in my perspective as a conservative investor it is a bad idea investing into new projects because it's very risky for me and I only have limited budget to use for investing. I'd rather spend my money into old altcoins that has values. Yes the profit might be lower but it's safer than investing into new projects. If you have some spare money then you might try to invest into new projects but I'm not advising it especially if you are a type of investor where you are easily affected by losses.

Yes partially you are right, but we don't know what one coin or token holds for the future, Does that really have any utility or not. It can be a worse idea as well.

what he said Is kinda right, but there is a catch, investing on new projects can be a lot riskier than old ones who are on the "top" of the leader board, new projects can fail at the beginning leaving you with a very big loss, on the other hand other projects who are already "successful" have a good base that really helps them from failing too hard.
What happens is that it is true that you can obtain way more profits when you invest in a new altcoin, however you need to consider the probabilities that you're going to get an outcome like that, and without a doubt the probabilities are very low, so low in fact that the supposed benefits that you are going to get out of investing in those new altcoins instead of investing in established coins are simply not there, which means that it is better to just forget about those coins and just invest in the best coins in the market as a way to reduce the risk of losing your money.

We should not invest just because we are obsessed with wanting to achieve big profits without taking into account the risks, because it will only
make us make wrong decisions. It's true that new altcoins promise much bigger profits, but the risks we will face are much bigger too. My advice
if we don't have good research and analysis skills, just focus on investing in old altcoins which are much less risky. It doesn't matter how small
the profit we make when investing in old altcoins, but if we accumulate the profit will be big too in the end. Instead of forcing us to invest in
new altcoins, we risk losing if it turns out that the new altcoins failed to be hype.

if you want to get an easier and more stable profit you can choose to invest in gold.

What makes you think that? Investing in gold is not characterized by the simplicity you are trying to give to this asset here. For example, if I had invested in gold in late 2011, at $1,900, my gold investment would have been at a loss in 11 years, because the price of gold has recently started to sag and is already trading around $1,700. So there is no such thing as an easy investment, you have to think and analyze everywhere.

Old projects are overvalued and that is why many people are lookind for new and prospective projects. But the most important to evaluate the potential of the project to understand how useful it will be in the future like this https://my.ebinity.com/en/register

It is necessary to constantly study to understand the market.
Also it is important to monitor the market to find new prospective projects for investment and invest in them and have maximum profit.

To earn money on cryptocurrency market constantly it is necessary to study.
Cryptocurrency market gives people a lot of different opportunities but it is necessary to monitor the market to find such opportunities.

There are so many altcoins in the market that only a low percentage of them will work, the rest are garbage and scam. So do your research well. Do not rely too much on what you hear around. If you are going to invest in altcoins, you should do a good portfolio control and take time. Most importantly, you have to be agile, you need to see the right move, good experience and time are important to do this.
As the OP is still a beginner so must listen carefully to all the advice given for your good, because for sure you don't have much experience though its your right and also your money but they understand the new altcoins very well. Although there are also profitable, but many also end in fraud.
so have to be very careful and do thorough research is the best way even if that's what others say, don't be too easy to believe before regretting it.

As for finding a new project and evaluating it, this can also be a challenging task even for experienced investors, let alone OP, who is just a newbie to the market. It would be difficult for a novice like OP to start researching a project, especially a new project with so little information, so I think OP should focus on top altcoins rather than new projects.

Another thing is that I think OP should not rush to invest but invest in the knowledge that is very necessary for him.

It depends on whether we are talking about well established altcoins, such as Ethereum, Polygon, Cosmos, or memecoins such as Shiba, Floki, Babydoge. Well established altcoins are a safe long-term investment, but if you want to profit from speculation, it is better to invest in new projects such as, for example, www.pussdao.com. The project has only just hit the market, so its price cannot practically fall, and when the new bull run starts, it is very likely that its price will go up like Shiba price at the beginning.

Who tells you that? Lmfao. Bear or even not bear, new altcoins are always been risky and many people won't recommend it especially for someone that has a less experience on this market because their money can get trap inside of those coin.

If there is one that is best to invest right now, that will only be the old coins but even if we are in a normal season, you can't go wrong investing in older projects. I cant only guarantee you that you can earn quick and easy profits with them because old projects are not a pump and dump but they are better than those kind of coins because once the right time comes, they can give you a superb return.

But there are also good Altcoins like BNB and ETH, the opportunity is bigger than new Altcoins, you need to understand the team in these Altcoins, the impact is big.
Yes, that's why not all altcoins are bad to invest but there are maximalists that no matter what altcoin you say, they'll just stay to bitcoin and that's not a problem and there's no argument needed to prove, and debate against them. There are projects that are not really bad at all but the image of altcoins is becoming bad due to those projects that are making themselves compete with the better projects and falsely claiming that they're good as the others are. In this case, you need to be picky in having any of them because it's like the market of uncertainty if you're not prepared.

Indeed, (some) altcoins are worth investing in, we sometimes look at the negative attributes of these scam projects making us to generalized altcoins and even consider them as the wrong investment. And besides, even investing in Bitcoin could give us losses when mishandled and no escape from that as the only thing it helps us to make a profit in an market condition is to handle it carefully and of course, investing potential coins.

that's very untrue. if you want to get an easier and more stable profit you can choose to invest in gold. if you want to get profit investing in crypto you can choose bitcoin for the long term. and if you want to get a safe profit on altcoins you can invest in old altcoins that have a large community.
but if you want to get big profits in a short period of time maybe you will choose a new altcoin to make a profitable investment. but you should also prepare yourself to lose your money when that new altcoin project goes with your money and doesn't provide any clarity.
be careful if you want to invest in new altcoins. i suggest it's better to invest in bitcoin or ethereum

I think bitcoin is an amazing revolutionary technology that I whole heartily believe in and the bulk of my portfolio will always remain in BTC. That’s not to say I’m not interested in alt coins.

I think it’s wise to diversify your portfolio and I’m very interested in several alt coins and I always try and stay up to date with other potential investments in the crypto space. However, there’s no way that I would invest in alt coins before investing in bitcoin but that’s just my opinion.

I have to be confident, but I accept all suggestions and inputs as long as they are considered good and direct. I focus more on people who have experience and high counts because if you make a wrong move it's not profit but loss. I wouldn't worry about this and I would choose an altcoin first, by doing additional proper research on the altcoin before investing, exploring its potential and also seeing who the solid and responsive development team behind it is.

Investing in a new project is not a bad idea, but doing it at this time is not suitable. The new project is certainly more profitable than the old one, but the risk is also higher. New projects need hype to be profitable, so it's better to invest in them during the bull season.

Old projects already have reputation, and in general lots of new projects dont bring anything "new" to the crypto world. Since investors or simple buyers became more cautious, all that new projects might not even go further than planning stage.

I would better invest in old projects, as they already have financial history, and some kind or research or prediction can be made. With new projects it will be more random, or luck.

It's true that one can make lots of money from new projects than others but they are a lot riskier than other projects, the chances of getting bad results like lack of adoption or rug pull is very high, invest in the likes of Polkadot, Aave, Polygon, they have high market cap, it will be hard to die.
My colleagues called a lot of NFTs an ass just from what happened to what they used to hold back then. After a month of so, they realized that rug pull was on and what they are currently holding is worthless now. It is risky and it is not even worth the gains. High risk - low reward.
I invested back then and I just stopped buying more from what happened to ICO in 2017.
When people invest in icos, ieos, NFTs or whatever is hot at that moment they think they are taking a high risk with the possibility of a big reward, but this is not really true as most of the time they are taking a high risk for a low reward.

Simply put most investments that we see in this market do not pass the risk/reward ratio necessary for us to invest in them, however people do not realize of this truth until they have already invested in such projects, then they lose their money and they finally understand they never had any chance of making money with that project.
They only realize things when they already lose or if they are lucky enough when they've gain a lot and enjoy the benefits, though it's a case to case basis and people who have the desire to continue will be more eager to find ways to be more successful they are always open with new knowledge and they are willing to adjust if there's a need of doing the adjustments.
