What new altcoins you are exactly talking about? There are lot of coins in the market now and coming up on daily basis so you can't say anything about them with surety and without any research profit can't be accessed through them. But in most of the cases they don't even survive the market and are generally for scams purpose so if you don't have knowledge about it stay away from them.

Is it true that new altcoins are the best to invest in right now? Someone said you can easily make better profits from new projects than investing in old altcoins that have already x their values already, what do you think? Good or bad idea.
New investment opportunities are greater, than investing in old Altcoins, it's based on the team, investors and founders of the Altcoin, many types of old Altcoin founders run and die, so that Altcoins do not develop and die, the new one has a good chance, depending on who is behind the Altcoin.

But there are also good Altcoins like BNB and ETH, the opportunity is bigger than new Altcoins, you need to understand the team in these Altcoins, the impact is big.

Old projects are overvalued and that is why many people are lookind for new and prospective projects. But the most important to evaluate the potential of the project to understand how useful it will be in the future like this https://my.ebinity.com/en/register

It is important to get maximum profit from old projects because they are overvalued.
But investment in new projects are very risky because not all the projects will be able to survive during the fall of the market.
That is why it is necessary to check how useful is the project and what potential it has for future.

It is necessary to constantly study to understand the market.
Also it is important to monitor the market to find new prospective projects for investment and invest in them and have maximum profit.

New projects can bring huge profits even x1000, but to find it is not easy, I would say that it is almost impossible, finding the gem is like predicting the bitcoin price tomorrow. Secondly, if you invest in a new project that may have a 1000% return, you may also receive a 1000% risk return. So think carefully before deciding.
One more thing, you can ask the person who told you these things, did they make a lot of money from new projects or did they just hear from other people.

If you think old coins are overvalued then this is your chance to buy them cheap, now potential old coins have also lost more than 80% of their value compared to their ATH. On the other hand, old projects have proven that they are good and can still grow in one bear season, are resilient and achieve new ATH in the next bear season. I believe altcoins that survive the bear season will have new ATHs in the next bull season. For new projects too risky to start without any prior trust.

It's true that one can make lots of money from new projects than others but they are a lot riskier than other projects, the chances of getting bad results like lack of adoption or rug pull is very high, invest in the likes of Polkadot, Aave, Polygon, they have high market cap, it will be hard to die.
My colleagues called a lot of NFTs an ass just from what happened to what they used to hold back then. After a month of so, they realized that rug pull was on and what they are currently holding is worthless now. It is risky and it is not even worth the gains. High risk - low reward.
I invested back then and I just stopped buying more from what happened to ICO in 2017.
When people invest in icos, ieos, NFTs or whatever is hot at that moment they think they are taking a high risk with the possibility of a big reward, but this is not really true as most of the time they are taking a high risk for a low reward.

Simply put most investments that we see in this market do not pass the risk/reward ratio necessary for us to invest in them, however people do not realize of this truth until they have already invested in such projects, then they lose their money and they finally understand they never had any chance of making money with that project.

50:50 as if you were gambling with money on a new project. It can be an advantage or even a big O. Because investing in new projects requires a broad community reach, a high level of investor confidence, and provides solutions to the problem of stuck chains. So in the new project, nothing is really 100% promising. Back again how far you are in analyzing a project.

I agree with this, the chances that the new project to give us huge profit is always 50/50.  There are new projects when investing in the right time can give us 100x to 1000x returns but if we missed the timing then we will be bag-holding worthless cryptocurrency.  Investing in a new project always poses a huge risk but if we are lucky enough to get into the right project then we will be having a great profit.

The thing is, just don't listen to anyone who advises you, try to verify them before doing anything.

In theory yes, in practice the odds are even smaller, around 5/95 not in favor of the investor. Let me explain my position. The fact is that it is not enough only to buy the project, even if you bought it at absolutely the right time, the ideal time to buy. Then you must still wait for the right time to sell it, and that it was the maximum peak of the market and demand. Investors often neglect to sell and continue to hold the coins and sell them only when it has already worked off its highs and gone to the bottom. Buying a x100-x1000 coin doesn't mean you'll be able to take that x100-x1000 out of that project. And the moment when you should have sold will be known for most holders post factum, when everything happens.

Not all new project sre worth investing,  the risk involved investing in project is very high.  New project are always reliable because you can't be sure how valuable the project is in the market. Some new project may have good project but new projects are unpredictable that is why it always important to invest amount that can be afforded to lose. Old project even if some does not have better profit atleast their some that are kind of reliable in the market.

So which new project would you recommend here? I really feel funny about such an idea, especially in the current context of the market. New projects are gradually appearing less and less for a number of reasons, the most obvious being the general difficult situation of the entire market, so it is also difficult to inject money into new projects to see them XX after listing. So take this time to purge low-quality projects and get quality leftovers rather than taking risks.

I myself do not agree with this statement which is still not necessarily true.

the new project does not yet have certainty about what will happen in the future because it is still in the process of developing and marketing the project.
when compared to old altcoins that already have clear value, new projects still have a very small or even uncertain possibility of being able to get a better profit.
[Yes i agree there is volatility and risk in crypto market. One should have alternatives. Have you heard of Mallconomy]

I have to be confident, but I accept all suggestions and inputs as long as they are considered good and direct. I focus more on people who have experience and high counts because if you make a wrong move it's not profit but loss. I wouldn't worry about this and I would choose an altcoin first, by doing additional proper research on the altcoin before investing, exploring its potential and also seeing who the solid and responsive development team behind it is.

It's too risky to expect a new project to make a big profit in a bear market, there are so many people who make a new project end up being a scam. it will be a different story if we are in a bull market where almost all new projects are attracted by many investors to get big profits.

Bad idea, why not buy coins which have survived test of prior bear markets rather than bothering with unknowns?
Well, that's not really good. Perhaps the importance of quick profits makes many people still blindly follow the risk. I think seeing if they are good or not also takes time to evaluate. Once experienced enough with successes or failures in investments with the market, making decisions that balance profit and loss risk will be the main tool we have. And for someone who is into sustainability and profitability, I don't think it's too complicated; just do your job well and accumulate BTC or top altcoins like ETH or BNB. We'll all be happier with them over time, not necessarily understanding all the trends going on in the market.

"Right now" could mean a lot of things, and it is usually the wrong thing to do if a stranger has told you.

The altcoin market is not a race, it is not a place where project go up one after the other. Rather it is a wild west where out of 100projects, 99 are a mixture of scams or failures and 1 project may have the chance to do something big. There are a lot of reasons behind this which is another topic for discussion, but know this that if you are investing in new projects you are having a 99% chance of going bust. Just because project A became big does not mean project B is going to be big too - they are not mutually related at all.

Moreover the quality of project being launched recently have gone down from what I have been watching since 2016. None of them are transparent nor they have a intrinsic market making capability.

What it all boils down to is that one should invest in bitcoin at low price and not altcoins, if they are willing to keep their money safe and profit.

Of course it is a bad idea. I bet that someone who recommended you to invest in new altcoins was probably shilling for some shitcoins that he has invested in. Almost 99% of the new altcoins are shitcoins that are some clone of the currently existing altcoins. They are usually created for pumping/dumping and to scam people.

Better to invest in old altcoins that are well established than to invest in some random altcoins that might die the next day.
