I think both rich, poor, and normal-status people are prone to addiction.  There had been cases and even an article stating rich people are addicted to gambling.  This only means that gambling addiction can affect and infect all walks of life except those who are not gambling of course.

People who are very busy with their work and have little to no time to gamble is surely safe from being a gambling addict but rich people who have plenty of time and find gambling as a way of entertainment may develop gambling addiction if they failed to moderate their gambling activity.
Once we love gambling and we don't try our best to be disciplined to control it, we can suddenly develop gambling addiction which is one major that can affect the way we gamble if we can decide for ourselves. Gambling is one of the easiest way to make money online but can be tasking if we can calm down and work on a strategy that can work for us and make us earn from the gambling market oenthe type of games we play.

Whether you are poor or rich, anyone can develop the addiction if there is no consciousness to make decisions on whether we want to gamble and when we don't want. Those people who must have find themselves a gambling addict might not really know that there problem comes from a particular methods they use for gambling especially when they don't have the urge control to make decisions for themselves.
Depending on what love you mean because there is also love as a hobby and not as an addiction. It's not easy to make money in gambling, and if what you were saying is true then why we are mostly devasted? It's because we lose most of the times. And if gambling is easy money, no casino would ever survive.

It's not tasking if you will just calm down but this should gambling be played and not the other way around because at the end of the day, we can still lose no matter how good we think our strategy is. That's true that there is no financial status involved when it comes to getting addicted in gambling. In-fact a rich person can be more prone to it because they have lots of capital.
Casinos follow "the house always wins" as a guideline. Even if short-term successes may offer players a false sensation of control, the chances are against them in the long run. Casinos have meticulously planned this. Roulette, blackjack, and slot machines give the house a tiny edge. Despite the odds, many people fall for the promise of quick money. Gambling addiction is bad because of this. Gambling addiction has no financial limits. It's a reminder that this issue impacts everyone, making responsible gaming even more crucial.

I have to disagree with you guys on Rich people getting addicted. Those who are rich don't have the time to get addicted in any other thing than money. They spend literally several hours only to mint money and buy lesiure with that money. They won't spend their time & money in gambling. Only people like us spend money on gambling, we start with the believe that we will double our money and what happens next is known by everyone.

Gambling is for fun and you shouldnt really be going into far extent specially on spending
And when it is fun, you intend to spend more because of the adrenaline that it sets you and it's being like a drug that you can't stop but spending more with your money.

because gambling isnt winning always unless if you are lucky then you might be that able to make some winnings
but doesnt mean that it is really that sustainable and this is why you should be having that realistic approach.
Given that you're not always lucky but then, that's the essence of gambling and all gamblers know that you can't win always. That's why you gamble if you want to and will just accept later the results of it. Whether it's good or bad, win or lose as long as you did it purposely and you're not the type of gambler that later on cries a lot like a baby when you've got nothing left anymore. It's all up to being a disciplined gambler but we don't know how many are still like that.

There's no exemption when it comes to addiction doesnt matter on what financial status you do have, you could still have the chance on getting addicted if you arent that careful on what you are doing or the things

that you've been dealing with. Always consider out on using the money which you can only afford to lose, dont go into certain extent that you are spending too much or something that go beyond your limits.
This is where usually the time people would really be that experiencing being devastated is on that you would really be going into above limits or money you are allocating. Getting too far then you do know
on whats next but most of the time they would just be neglecting it out until they would be facing up consequences.

This is just the basics, but anyone should be aware of it:

Budget: set it BEFORE you start gambling and stick to it.
Have a break from time to time, it is important to let your brain stop and consider.
Avoid drugs / drink as much as possible, they will make you loose some control innevitably.
Seek help if you feel you are no longer in control. Make a phone call to a friend or go out and speak with someone.

Anything else anyone can think of? Like... read this post before gambling? Tongue

Hi man i know this can sound weird, but, are you ok? And why you make this post? Are you, or you were on that position and now you are trying to help other peoples?. Im saying this only to know youa re ok, because sometimes we can externalize our feelings and we made some in third person.

If not dismiss my above message and thanks for the guidelines for all of the people who really need to stop.

For me the most important its to take a break from time to time, that can be a really big diference and avoid us to get hooked.

If you think you've got a gambling problem then the reality is that only cutting it off entirely will allow you to control the addiction. You need to use the self exclusion functionality on offer and aim to do it for the longest time period possible - any responsible gambling site should be offering this. When you're feeling so lost that you start gambling on auto-pilot, it means that you've formed such a habit that requires radical action to break. Ask the support staff to assist in banning your account and don't ever return to a gambling site, there's is no such thing as going back for a small flutter - once you've decided, usually after hitting rock bottom, then you have to stick with it and keep your guard up from temptations.

make yourself as relaxed as possible before playing gambling because a relaxed mind will make you make the right decision, I have applied this method and it is very effective because a messy mind is an abyss. Gambling must use tricks so you don't lose, there's no point in playing carelessly in gambling, it will only make you lose more money, not make a profit but if your goal is to gamble just for entertainment, that is your choice because when you make a gamble it is entertainment so you don't care about the defeats you might get.

doping before gambling hmmm, never do that, you have to be as aware as possible when gambling.
Well, you make you look like gambling is some form of trading where, you need all of the attributes you mentioned, including strategies to win trades..

As good as the whole thing looks, gambling is quite different my friend, most especially for those like me who love playing slot games, on the gaming side, slot games has nothing to do with how you feel, it's just all about being lucky, if you are lucky, you will win big regardless of your mental state when you started the games.

But then, it's always advised to approach every game in gambling with a great mental states solely for your own good, imagine playing slot games while angry, and then ending up loosing all your money again, that will leave you even more angry and frustrated.

But sometimes we have to continue gambling even though we have won, maybe adding another session for a new limit or the remainder that we will withdraw as profit, and yes sometimes it works and makes your winnings bigger, I often do it even though I don't always get wins again or even given continuous defeat after winning.

But yes, if you can't control yourself well in forming a plan B, if after getting a win, I think you really have to adhere to the initial plan, and the limits that exist in the plan must be made as a solid foundation to stop if you have gone too far.
Continuing the game when you have won is the wrong decision because you have been given luck but choose to be greedy hoping for another win.
Actually this is about greed which cannot control the urge to continue betting even though if you plan with another plan it also does not provide guarantees and for me the most effective way is just to stop gambling after getting a win.
Yes, indeed it should be according to the original plan, to maintain your state of mind and heart in gambling, because in a situation like this the situation is very emotional, it is important to follow the boundaries that have been set, as I said, this is done if you are really capable. control yourself, otherwise it is a very bad decision.

This is just the basics, but anyone should be aware of it:

Wow, I think I'm confident that before playing I always have a calm emotional state and mind, and the average person is able to do that, but the most difficult thing is to maintain that calm after entering the game, if you can't maintain that calm well, maybe you will also lose control of yourself in gambling.
Do you have a trick? May I know what kind of trick is that friend?

My post made philipma1957 wear signature
For the rich and wealthy, gambling could easily be something done out of fun or leisure but, when it comes to people who see it for a means of earning there daily bread, it easily feels like an only chance or means to a survival.
Sorry if I didn't get this right, but are you suggesting that reach people are more immune for addiction? If my interpretation is right then I have to disagree with what you said. I don't have exact numbers but I believe it's actually the opposite which is right. Wealthy people are more prone to all kinds of addiction not only gambling addiction. They spend more time playing because they can afford to do so which makes them subject to addiction and they won't realize it till they start running out of money.
Rich people mostly get into addiction as a result of experimenting each and everything available for enjoyment. They never think about money and that's the reason for their addiction. Rich people have a winning mindset which is also a reason why rich people get addicted easily. The good money they hold doesn't let their life get hurt, but with the common man it is something hard as he doesn't have much to spend.
I will not be so much pained or concerned if a rich man is addicted to either gambling, drugs or any other thing. A rich can afford to be addicted, it will take very long before their addiction will affect their wealth if actually it will affect.
What I hate to see is a poor man being addiction. The consequence is simple, it's either he will become a criminal to survive or he will starve to death.
But in all, rich men are prone to addiction more than poor men.

Planning is never bad, in fact it is the best thing we can do, but we must be careful with both events, the first and most likely event is that we lose, the core of this is knowing how to control ourselves so as not to bet more because if we bet more we will lose more money and that becomes a cycle that does not stop until we lose a lot, the other case is when we win, if we make a bet where we win a lot but suddenly we have a good profit , what does it do? to follow or not to follow? It is best not to continue, because it is likely that everything will be lost and we will remain as if we had not won Anything.

In summary we should always have a plan and stick to the plan when gambling, if we wanted to stop gambling after the current bet ends we have to stop even when you're feeling more lucky and want to continue playing. If you win or lose you should stick to the plan.

But sometimes we have to continue gambling even though we have won, maybe adding another session for a new limit or the remainder that we will withdraw as profit, and yes sometimes it works and makes your winnings bigger, I often do it even though I don't always get wins again or even given continuous defeat after winning.

Actually this is about greed which cannot control the urge to continue betting even though if you plan with another plan it also does not provide guarantees and for me the most effective way is just to stop gambling after getting a win.

As far as gambling fixed days go, I usually play Slots 20 rounds, and I recall a month ago when I was supposed to gamble for my twenty rolls, and I hit a win on my fifth roll. That was a magical day for me, so I took the profit and quit. I knew I would lose all that money if I kept playing. In my opinion, once you win or make a good hit, it's over, you should stop gambling for that day.

The only way you can escape any bad decision you make is if you have discipline in everything you do, because you will be able to easily get out of every bad decision. I have had a bad experience in gambling many times in the past, and things start to get better when I change all my strategies. My gambling budget is very specific and no matter whether I win or lose, I never go back to play the same game the next day.

That is partly true in the sense that most rich people do not have the need to gamble and when they do they know what they are doing and most of the times do not get addicted. However there are certain rich people who may fall in love with gambling and then we all know that they ruin their fortune through gambling, this type of people is far less than the ones who know what they are doing but they exist too and when this type of people become addicted it is a very very bad situation for them, they end up losing everything in gambling.
Let's assume a Rich guy gets addicted to gambling. He wont remain rich anymore as he would spend his time & money in gambling. It is hard for me to digest this situation as when he is already gambling everyday with his business to make it more profitable, why would he even gamble in a casino. I don't see any point with your reasoning. Rich people don't gamble with thier money they make us gamble to become rich.

Well let me tell you a well known joke from the rich as I have learned it from the son of my boss but a lot of other people know it.It shows that every person can become addicted to gambling including rich people. So here is the joke:

One time some servants tell to the king that his son is drinking a lot of alcohol and the king response was no problem, then after some time come another day the same servants and tell the king that his son is going deeply with whores, the king again replied no problem, after some more time the same servants come to the king and tell him that his son started gambling, this time the king response was, bring him immediately here or we will all go into ruin.

This joke shows that gambling is the worse when it comes to being a vice.

Yes, it's true that addiction doesn't choose even rich people or poor people, sometimes there are also rich people who go bankrupt because of gambling because of their addiction, middle-class people usually play gambling just for fun, the same as rich people, but that doesn't mean playing for fun. not be an addict. because if you play uncontrolled you will eventually become an addict too.

Most people from the lower middle class become addicts more easily because they usually gamble for money and spend their time gambling. Even though the rich have more time to gamble, it doesn't rule out that everyone can't become an addict, it all goes back to how we control ourselves and regulate our mindset when gambling.

But yes, if you can't control yourself well in forming a plan B, if after getting a win, I think you really have to adhere to the initial plan, and the limits that exist in the plan must be made as a solid foundation to stop if you have gone too far.

Following the plan and stick on it will help in avoiding any exceed an amount that possibly you can lose when playing/betting. It's better to keep that mindset to follow whatever strategy and whatever limitations that you setup. With that capability, you will save your butt from any potential addiction or any deeper engagements with gambling.

Always have that self-will to limit and control everything, including both your emotions and your money management.
