I will not be so much pained or concerned if a rich man is addicted to either gambling, drugs or any other thing. A rich can afford to be addicted, it will take very long before their addiction will affect their wealth if actually it will affect.
What I hate to see is a poor man being addiction. The consequence is simple, it's either he will become a criminal to survive or he will starve to death.
But in all, rich men are prone to addiction more than poor men.

As far as gambling fixed days go, I usually play Slots 20 rounds, and I recall a month ago when I was supposed to gamble for my twenty rolls, and I hit a win on my fifth roll. That was a magical day for me, so I took the profit and quit. I knew I would lose all that money if I kept playing. In my opinion, once you win or make a good hit, it's over, you should stop gambling for that day.

The only way you can escape any bad decision you make is if you have discipline in everything you do, because you will be able to easily get out of every bad decision. I have had a bad experience in gambling many times in the past, and things start to get better when I change all my strategies. My gambling budget is very specific and no matter whether I win or lose, I never go back to play the same game the next day.

Well let me tell you a well known joke from the rich as I have learned it from the son of my boss but a lot of other people know it.It shows that every person can become addicted to gambling including rich people.So here is the joke:

One time some servants tell to the king that his son is drinking a lot of alcohol and the king response was no problem,then after some time come another day the same servants and tell the king that his son is going deeply with whores,the king again replied no problem,after some more time the same servants come to the king and tell him that his son started gambling,this time the king response was,bring him immediately here or we will all go into ruin.

This joke shows that gambling is the worse when it comes to being a vice.

Let's assume a Rich guy gets addicted to gambling. He wont remain rich anymore as he would spend his time & money in gambling. It is hard for me to digest this situation as when he is already gambling everyday with his business to make it more profitable, why would he even gamble in a casino. I don't see any point with your reasoning. Rich people don't gamble with thier money they make us gamble to become rich.

That is partly true in the sense that most rich people do not have the need to gamble and when they do they know what they are doing and most of the times do not get addicted.However there are certain rich people who may fall in love with gambling and then we all know that they ruin their fortune through gambling,this type of people is far less than the ones who know what they are doing but they exist too and when this type of people become addicted it is a very very bad situation for them,they end up losing everything in gambling.

Yes, it's true that addiction doesn't choose even rich people or poor people, sometimes there are also rich people who go bankrupt because of gambling because of their addiction, middle-class people usually play gambling just for fun, the same as rich people, but that doesn't mean playing for fun. not be an addict. because if you play uncontrolled you will eventually become an addict too.

Most people from the lower middle class become addicts more easily because they usually gamble for money and spend their time gambling. Even though the rich have more time to gamble, it doesn't rule out that everyone can't become an addict, it all goes back to how we control ourselves and regulate our mindset when gambling.

I have to disagree with you guys on Rich people getting addicted. Those who are rich don't have the time to get addicted in any other thing than money. They spend literally several hours only to mint money and buy lesiure with that money. They won't spend their time & money in gambling. Only people like us spend money on gambling, we start with the believe that we will double our money and what happens next is known by everyone.

Rich people mostly get into addiction as a result of experimenting each and everything available for enjoyment. They never think about money and that's the reason for their addiction. Rich people have a winning mindset which is also a reason why rich people get addicted easily. The good money they hold doesn't let their life get hurt, but with the common man it is something hard as he doesn't have much to spend.

Following the plan and stick on it will help in avoiding any exceed an amount that possibly you can lose when playing/betting. It's better to keep that mindset to follow whatever strategy and whatever limitations that you setup. With that capability, you will save your butt from any potential addiction or any deeper engagements with gambling.

Always have that self-will to limit and control everything, including both your emotions and your money management.

Sorry if I didn't get this right, but are you suggesting that reach people are more immune for addiction? If my interpretation is right then I have to disagree with what you said. I don't have exact numbers but I believe it's actually the opposite which is right. Wealthy people are more prone to all kinds of addiction not only gambling addiction. They spend more time playing because they can afford to do so which makes them subject to addiction and they won't realize it till they start running out of money.

If they knew how to use the borrowed money, they could pay it back on time. The problem is that if the borrowed money is used to play gambling, they will find it difficult to return it. And they also don't know when his luck will come, so they can only hope it won't always come.

The intent may be to damage that person's mental health and economy because, after all, by borrowing money from someone else, they have to pay it back. And if they can't return it or even get a loss which results in losing all the loan money at the gambling table, it will frustrate them, and they don't know what to do. This can impact their mentality, where they can use unusual ways to get money, such as robbing, mugging, or stealing.

But sometimes we have to continue gambling even though we have won, maybe adding another session for a new limit or the remainder that we will withdraw as profit, and yes sometimes it works and makes your winnings bigger, I often do it even though I don't always get wins again or even given continuous defeat after winning.

But yes, if you can't control yourself well in forming a plan B, if after getting a win, I think you really have to adhere to the initial plan, and the limits that exist in the plan must be made as a solid foundation to stop if you have gone too far.

Of course, everyone who decides to gamble must have long-term thinking because the effects of gambling are not easy to get rid of and anyone can experience bad effects from gambling at any time if they don't have a broad mind to then resolve the risks they will face.

But most wealthy people also become addicted to gambling if they not have the limits and knowledge of the risks and awareness of gambling addiction.

I agree with that and I have also said several times to have a definite source of income from working or doing business so that we can control gambling by being busy working or running a business.

Is it really about how you think? Possibly but, its firstly about the conditions one is being subjected to which determines the importance one gets to place on gambling which translates to building and addiction towards the practice.

For the rich and wealthy, gambling could easily be something done out of fun or leisure but, when it comes to people who see it for a means of earning there daily bread, it easily feels like an only chance or means to a survival.

Your best way out,
Get a job or some investment that can pay your bills. Its easier to leave gambling that way or at least, see it for a thing of the moment. Having something good going could easily help you to redirect your focus towards growth and that could be all you need.

For some maybe but there are also people who learn quickly. Borrowing money isn't bad as long as it will be used on the right stuffs. Obviously, gambling is not among with it. Taking loans doesn't increase our winning chance but the loaner only hopes that they can now this time. Loaning money to gamble will kill the fun and it's now being replaced by fear because once we lose, another problem is going to be added. Addiction is harmful not only in the mind but also physically.

I'm only curious on why you say it's damaging to the economy? In what way? Not all are addicted to gambling anyway. It's only easy for you to say to control an addiction but it's hard for those who suffer with this condition. A simple reminder won't work but forcing them would be necessary.

In summary we should always have a plan and stick to the plan when gambling, if we wanted to stop gambling after the current bet ends we have to stop even when you're feeling more lucky and want to continue playing. If you win or lose you should stick to the plan.

Chasing after our losses is very dangerous way of betting as things could go wrong and you lose more money in the process. Chasing after wins is also dangerous just because you won your previous bet doesn't mean you'll be winning the next bet that you're about playing.

We could lose focused and go the extra mile when gambling but having the mental awareness and discipline to correct yourself to stick to your plan can help you prevent losses. This is why as a gambler you have to be disciplined yourself to prevent making bad decisions.

Expect and anticipate losses and i would say that this should really be enough for you to make yourself that not impulsive on the time that you would experience these things which are really that complete sure that you would because gambling is in between losing and winning but most of the time you would really be on the losing side on which it is really just that right that you do make out those realizations which is something that you would really be needing for you to do so, so that you wont really be expecting something that much towards gambling.

You would really be making yourself that getting addicted if you are really just that trying out to make yourself a winner which we know that it cant really be that so easy or possible most of the time.

The truth is that every opinion is very Respectable , I can see your point and yes, that is what all politicians and governments really do, they are always going to offer "good things" but we all know that it is just a mirage, it is not so and we should not be fooled , I have always said many times, the good is little, never much and that is a saying that has Taken me very far in life, when we see something very good and it is a lo t, we have to stop and start to study things, because there is always something hidden there, a government will always give or say what we want to hear from them, but they always do the opposite.

Personally I will never say that a KYC is Good there is always something going on there and things can be seen as good when they actually hide the interests for them this is something that never ends of course I have this kind of thinking for the sake of it fact of living under a system where politicians are what they are, great liars and they implement their control systems so that they can benefit.

Planning is never bad, in fact it is the best thing we can do, but we must be careful with both events, the first and most likely event is that we lose, the core of this is knowing how to control ourselves so as not to bet more because if we bet more we will lose more money and that becomes a cycle that does not stop until we lose a lot, the other case is when we win, if we make a bet where we win a lot but suddenly we have a good profit , what does it do? to follow or not to follow?
