So all these forecasts are relative and say that in two years will be in the top pretty hard. If he thinks that coins like ETH are shit then he needs to eat a bag full of shit. One has to be pretty dumb to think that ETH is a scam. I don't think all altcoins are scams. Maybe some are, but definitely not all. Please do check the background of the person whom you quoted from. Well, it's up to you. If you want to believed it, then go. But you can't forced us to do this because we have also faith with the altcoins. Like bitcoin, we believed that all altcoins have potential to be more successful in the future. They already proven it before when they start to launch their plattforms in the market.
All this is reminiscent of the argument that plastic or metal is better. 
Those news are fake because there are many potential coins running now and competing those popular coin or maybe surpassed it. don't underestimate all altcoins because in near future maybe they can survived and bitcoin will die.

all altcoins is not a scam I know why you said altcoin is scam because now the price of all token is down in the market altcoin and bitcoin is almost the same crypto currencies but bitcoin is the first token.

I don't agree with your statement, and the person who told that all altcoins are only scams. Maybe some altcoins were scam and have run away after raising funds through ICO. But that does not mean all altcoins are fraud. Every thing has two sides, good and bad. So what you need to move on is become skeptic.

All the altcoins cannot be scam and ethereum is the true example. There are many altcoin out there with good future and people are making their earnings with them everyday. So not all altcoins are scam but there's some scams among them.
For me, altcoin plays a pivotal role in the crypto market. In fact, market capitalization is focused on bitcoin. But the new altcoin is the coin to meet the user needs most practical. Because the majority, built and refer to user needs. Altcoin helps traders in the market to easily find and invest or trade. The richness of the coin fulfills many user purposes as the development of the crypto community.
I agree with you because I am very sure that altcoin is the focus of people because the options are far more than bitcoin, I think people have long left bitcoin after a lot of potential altcoin appears
