I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?
What kind of coin that you have bought it with your ethereum? i guess you have trapped at the bullish trend. It looks like you have been buying at the peak price and then it gets dumped instantly by the whale.

You should tell me us what coin.
The name of the coin is switch ( ESH ), a friend told me how good the project is and I invested all my ethereum thinking the price will increase more but later it dumped
I think you still have a chance to get back your 10eth. Only if you didn't sell it at a dump price. Investing is not as easy as what you think. Don't just listen and believe to your friend or to anybody, instead do more research about the project you want to invest on. 10eth is a big amount already. Don't panic to sell if you see market dump because it will rise again. Think positive, always remember cryptomarket is volatile,it can go up or down anytime.

OP claimed he invested in Esh token if you read the posts under OP very well, ESH token is very good for long term hold, it has only 15,000,000 max supply, a little higher than Zclassic max supply, you should start hoping for a new altcoin season, you lost money can bring you fortune you never expected, just stay strong

Where did you invest your 10 ethereum?

Well it already happened and you learn your lesson now. You can still recover what you have lost but it takes time or until the market turns bullish again.

Just be patient and stay positive because its part of investing risky and unpredicted.

Thee problem with this, and all other similar topics, is that we never know in which project they invested? And many other details, where they got idea for investing, did they do any research, or they blindly trusted some group, or site, forum.. They just say how much they lost and nothing more. Therefore its hard for me to believe in this, and other similar stories.
First of all ethereum is a good investment, its better to have ethereum than some other coin, or new token. Second more important did anyone come here on forum to read what we wrote before they make investment?

Your money is pretty much lost and this is why people should be aware that this kind of investment is risky, same thing with stock your money could turn into dust anytime. Sometimes that's why I never influence people around me to do the same thing as me to make some investment because it could pretty much rekt their life if their nature is to take a huge risk and don't know how to stop.

So sad that you encountered a bad experienced in trading dude, I think the only thing you can do to recover it
is to join bounties that are legit and can able to give you a nice rewards in the end. Depending in the category of the campaign
if you are a youtuber there is a chance for you to recover your lost or translation bounty much better too.

That is not the end of your journey, because there are still many new ways and new hopes that you can do from now until later, because everyone in crypto certainly has lost both investment and trade, so do not be discouraged because it is very it's hard to get up and get back 10 ethereum at this time.
I think to invest, or trading often depends on luck, and if you do not have any hope in the investment, it is best to leave this market because if you stay, you will lose more money. However, if you are still looking for a new opportunity to recover your lost money, you should have a reasonable investment strategy and always study to know what is happening in this market.

ESH? That's a good coin to hold, why said you've lose all your ethereum? You buy at a high price and the value dump but it will recover, presently it's trading at 0.12$ per one, it's also listed on many exchanges like Hitbtc and others, you can never tell what will happen soon

Care to share the project where you invested your 10 ETH?? In that way we can share more regarding to your problem.

Investing on a new project is like gambling where it is a high risk but the reward is also high. Before investing, you should know that most of the projects are going down very hard because the developers, investors and some bounty hunters will dump it immediately causing the price to go down very hard.

I don't want to say that it is the end for your money but it would be better if you will just forget the project where you invested your 10 ETH. I mean don't be affected too much on it and move on. Restart your journey in crypto and at least you've learned something along the way. When you are a newbie, things like this is inevitable so you must be ready to all of it. Smiley

How can you recover? Invest into other coins that are there for a long time already and don't invest on a new projects.

You still have 4 ethereum so there is no end at all,if you don't need the money for now and these are just a spare money?then why not just let it sleep in your wallet and wait for years to come maybe by that time ETH will break the 15 hundred dollars value again so you have regain the losses and profit anyway.

No it is not the end, you have a good path to recovery after acknowledging that you fomoed.

Now focus on the next errors you made whixh can be:

1. Did you refuse to take profit? Or it never mooned
2. Were you greedy and refused to sell or you missed out on selling in profit?
3. Did you fall in love with the project clouding your judgements?

Figure out those answers and start afresh

No hope is lost here unless the project is a complete scam or pump and dump project, ethershift rise up in value because of ghost token and sorry you buy at ATH but relax, the token is not that bad at all and look how many exchanges listed the token already, it's future looks brighter

Depending on what the project is doing to make the demand of the token to keep increasing. If the project is currently not active or they have no upcoming event that can boost the price of the token, I do not think there is a way you could quickly recover your money back. From my experience, when the price of token drop drastically like that, the chance of increasing back to initial price is very slim. However, I checked the project and I can see that the team behind ESH are really hardworking. The token is currently being listed in many exchanges, hopefully it gets massive adoption and the price increase as well

Actually its up you if you wantes to continue or not. Many people too lose much more than you and those projects that you fomo might end up being scam. So I suggest to review your future investment. Dont trust new projects especially if they comes from an ICOs. These projects aims to scam people by introducing dozens of project that dont have value at all. They only goal is to raise funds and ledt the project hanging after they secure funds. Why not focus on major altcoins or even btc for a good holding rather than playing alts.
The guy is good and safe if he doesn't sell his tokens , Ethershift aka switch is a decentralized coin and it's well developed, NO ICO No Premine coin it is, and teams are very hardworking, that coin will grow bigger in near future

I understand the feeling you experienced, you bought it when the price was too high and now the price is far from what you expected.
now there are many altcoins in the crypto world, but before buying them we must first review the prospects of the coins, maybe you can wait until the crypto market returns to normal, if the price doesn't go up, you have to release coins to sell.

You must be enthusiastic and confident that what you are doing is correct in investing, not only are you affected in investing, I also experience things like you feel right now. it's just that you haven't fared well.

You have not ended and you still have a long way to go to success, patience, confidence, determination, that's what you can do right now, investing in crypto has a high risk when prices plummet and advance, For now all you have to do is be patient and monitor ethereum prices every day.

I am very sure that the price of Ethereum for the future, has a pretty brilliant value you will experience a good and prosperous fate, do not worry always think positive you will succeed.

you mean the total value of your invested project was about 14 eth before but now they only cost total of 4 eth  ?  ouch thats bad  . may i know how much capital you have started  .  if you start small and you ended up 14 eth , that was already a good gained and you could have start selling them out but sometimes we people are just greedy and will want more once we saw a good amounts of profit already   .  this isnt the end for you but you can pray and hope that your assets will recover

Sorry this happened to you but it looks like you made the wrong decision. I don't know if it's IEO or other trading coins but whichever it is, before selling at terrible losses I would suggest you exercise patience, take out time and study the team and know what they are capable of doing, that is, if they are really active and working towards their goals and objectives, if yes then there is chances the price will go up. I don't know what lead you into doing such but next time make sure you carry out your due diligence and don't be driven by hype or fomo.
