I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?
I'm sorry for what happened to you. Maybe now you can be honest with what happened to you, but despite what you have done, it is also good because you have learned something. Don't trust and just invest because some people can't be trusted especially when money is being talked about. Because there are people who are willing to do everything even to cheat other people just to make money regardless of whether it is from the bad or not.

I know you have learned something from what happened to you and hope you can use it to recover and for all that you lost. I hope you know you'll recover and probably more than what you'd lost.

is this the end of the road for me?
Yes if it's solely about your 10 ETH.

Or I still have hope?
No if it's only about your 10 ETH

How can I recover?
Take this as a learning experience, move on, and keep working smart to earn more money ethically. Everyone makes mistakes.
I advise you not to do speculative trade since it's risky. You might not be able to get away if you go too deep in debt.

This is where an unfavorable situation is trapped inside and it is difficult to come out following a moment that is less friendly. That Mean you are more careful with offers that are not necessarily certain and profitable to take advantage of conditions like this especially still new and lack of knowledge.

To get out of these conditions, make it a valuable lesson and leave immediately more careful in making decisions.

Depend on the project that choose for investing, if you just invested your money to a project that doesn't have a real case you will lose all your ethereum in it. But if the project has a real case and can be funtioned in the future you still have a chance to get your money back even you have a chance to gain profit as long as you have patience.

Which platform that you choose? Are you invested the ethereum in an ICO or IEO? Take this situation as a learning for you. You have took a high risk for your money, this is not high risk and high return but you just choose a gamble for your money. If I were you I will stay to keep 10 ethereum in my wallet and wait for ethereum 2.0 comes, look like it will give a lot of profit as well.

There's still hope for you. I lost a lot of $ when I was new to futures trading and made a serious of huge mistakes (like using x100 for leverage lol) but so far I recovered almost 90% by sticking to my new trading strategy. Use your remaining funds wisely and always diversify your portfolio.

Actually its up you if you wantes to continue or not. Many people too lose much more than you and those projects that you fomo might end up being scam. So I suggest to review your future investment. Dont trust new projects especially if they comes from an ICOs. These projects aims to scam people by introducing dozens of project that dont have value at all. They only goal is to raise funds and ledt the project hanging after they secure funds. Why not focus on major altcoins or even btc for a good holding rather than playing alts.

You can recover, worst have happened to me in this haven but in the end I recover more than I lost, don't lose hope, keep up doing what you do best and next time don't invest all you have in a single project, you are lucky the project is not a scam one, Switch dev name is Josh, very capable and trustworthy, it might take time but you will surely recover

You should have been careful about when you are investing. There's a golden rule for investment. Never spend more than 10% of your total budget on a single field or project.
But still it's not the end of your road as you can still invest more. I suggest you to invest atleast 50% of the established coins. Preferably in the top 20 coins by marketcap which you think have potential to rise and only invest the rest on newer coins as those newer coins do have the potential to give you large profit but are also highly risky.
True! Never go over 20% of your assets to a single project. It's not the end of the road. You just stopped at an intersection, now your turn to move! You need to improve your ability to do research carefully. Failures are lectures! Be strong boy! Try trading in short-term profit. Jump in and jump out the market to create profits before investing in any project again. You need sometime to recover from this incident!

What kind of coin that you have bought it with your ethereum? i guess you have trapped at the bullish trend. It looks like you have been buying at the peak price and then it gets dumped instantly by the whale.

You should tell me us what coin.
The name of the coin is switch ( ESH ), a friend told me how good the project is and I invested all my ethereum thinking the price will increase more but later it dumped

Sorry about the price dump, that's how it works in crypto, instability.  The coin may not be bad anyway, it might just require you to wait or hold for some time when it's price improve until you get a little return or you are able to recover your money.  Besides, it's not always good to put one's egg in one basket.  Next time you don't just invest all your assets in just one project.  Try and spread your risks by investing in at least more than one.

ESH is not a bad project IMO, you haven't lost that your money unless you sell your token, I joined ESH Airdrop years ago and I'm glad i did, the team are very hard-working, you can still easily recover your money someday, just hold and use blockfolio to track price from time to time

You are still a newbie, you should have do research on the project before risking what you have, and moreover why do you use that much money? If you want to risk buying coins you should only risk what you can afford to lose, the fault is all yours, I suggest you learn trading or hopefully recover through bounties, hopes aren't gone, good luck

Sorry for your loss, you need to be careful in crypto space, some projects telegram groups are full of FOMO, they do this to trick newbies so the value of the coin or token will pump, and then they will dump on you, hope you've learnt a big lesson, now you have to prevent yourself from such not to repeat itself ever again
