Hold until the right time for yourself. Example BNB now reached its new ATH and it seems to continue very well. It is clear that ETH and EOS will also continue well. Anyway try to stay away from greed or you will be lost again.

This is what the plan is. Continue accumulating on the cheap and hold on for the ride. Regardless of a projects potential a general rise in the market seems to bring everything upwards.
It’s sad but true, some altcoins will never recover from this crash. On the other hand crypto market is still very promising and it’ll keep growing in future. The key is being patient, there is nothing wrong to wait for a long time if you have a chance to make good money in the end.
Majority of the projects have closed down when the market went down and some are impossible to recover from the situation and people who invested in those coins will be holding that coin forever, the best you can do is to get out when you can when it comes to random projects, if it is a top ten project then i will place my faith in it, other than that i would dispose when the market is right and still i am a bag holder of some coins. 
I think there's a problem with my coins. Whichever price I'm taking isn't increasing. I wish I would buy a bnb 4-5 dollars.

Sell at loss if that project looks no longer following their promise and road map. That's all you can do and don't be a die hard investor of that project if it is obvious on your eyes that they are no longer serious with that project.
We should not attach with the token, we should attach on the project or product. If the project delivering their roadmap and whitepapers, i am believe investor will attracted and hold the token or coin. Good investor must reasonable about their investment

You can hold, but not for several years. We never know what will happen to the market in 2,3, especially 5 years and more. It is a great risk not to sell anything if you are given a chance to make at least some profit.
If as much as its very good to hold your altcoin, be willing to take profit as soon as you sense an opportunity. Some people are regretting their actions of not selling when there was a pump in price. Always know that volatility is a characteristics of the market and the price will always pump and dump.
When the market goes down the worst case is that altcoin investments lose much value or die. But if you hold altcoin well, the future will help you recover your losses. So choosing the original altcoin for investment is always a difficult choice
It's very difficult the market is not a friendly place for impatient traders, every fluctuations will be a risky call from your decision making, choosing coins to invest is like trying to find a needle inside the garden full of grass, you need to use your patience to find the right assets to hold, waiting

This choice is terrible. I kept ETN as soon as it listed on the first exchange, but now I'm still at a loss because of the bear market after one year of hodl. I believe this will be a stupid idea with a long dream and love becoming rich with it.
If we take coins from the first hundred of the coinmarketcap rating, then we can say that they all outlive this bear market and they are suitable as an investment for several years. But all the same for investing it is better not to choose only one coin from the first hundred. To reduce risks, it is necessary to choose several different projects, and then invest in them.
If you haven't already sold your ALTs simply hold if your project is decent. If the project has no future sell and buy into a decent project. This is all you can do to recover your loss without putting in more money. It will probably take a couple of years to recover your loss!

Well, investing in the short-term hasn't been profitable for many people, so if they buy some stable altcoins and hold them for a few years then it would definitely be profitable for them. The only thing they have to do is to have patience.
The market for altcoins is unpredictable. Some changes so rapidly like when it did happen that ethereum had fallen so fast and that many lost their money about half or perhaps more than. It was doing good but suddenly everything went upside down. And the good coin becomes almost as worse as nobody had ever thought about the sudden decrease. So to choose the best coin, I think it would be appropriate to check their current condition in terms of price and the volume to identify and analyze movements of alts.

My suggestion is simply. Hold only the coin that is good and has more potentiality to grow in the future. So do not waste your time with the coins that are shit. If you are holding shit coins, sell off all of them and buy other good coins instead.

I sold some altcoins yesterday. I have been hodling since 2018 so it pumped with news of listing on binance dex and I quickly sold it off. The price has come down again. It is good to hodl and not sell cheap.
I have several altcoins that I have been hodling since 2017. Today their price is ridiculously low. I even regret not selling them off last year. I doubt if they can ever go back up again
I also experienced this, it was difficult to recover if the coins were not included in the top 50 in the coinmarket, the competition that was too tight certainly made many altcoins die, if it was out of the top 50 it might sell immediately, the better option.
