You were right  s1gs3gv. The big announcement is shares in the company.

“Any future mining operations and any future batches we do, our customers will gain a share of the profits via dividend distributions,” said Akram, promising further details of the deal “soon”.

Smells pretty desperate if you ask me. Who the hell is going to buy Alpha's overpriced junk in September. They will have to massively increase hashrate and cut the price. A dividend share of £0= £0

Alpha Technology know their image is in tatters.

This isn't turning a new leaf. This is damage control. With legal action from customers looming over them, they're battening down the hatches.

So much for transparency. What a load of bullshit.

absolutely damage control - the question is for going on or for worse

translation: "sorry all, we just realized we cant keep up the charade any longer if we ban everyone from the forum and the portion of people thats naive enough to pay the remainder is getting lower, so we will just make it look like we are making another groundbreaking announcement to keep people on the hook"

this is not ethical - this is the sentence that got me banned - Fiaz, why dont you ban me from this forum as well?

just fucking refund the deposit already

on second thought i also said zoomhash gives the same hashrate for cheaper and delivers now, maybe thats what got me banned Wink

people, the rational approach here is asking for a refund on deposit, not make the rest of the payment and buy a miner from another supplier if you are still intersted, dont put up with this "another update" bullshit

This is gaining momentum to be one of the biggest crapfests yet.

Its quickly moving well beyond incompetence to culpability.

BUT they hadnt react if all their customers where sheeps - so this is rather a good sign while cryptocommunity is working - thanks

I wouldn't be surprised if they announce that they cant deliver their miner - BUT they made an awesome deal with one of the legit scrypt asic companies, so they can buy their miners with a little discount with your preorder money. Wink

At this point, you'd think their safest bet would be to bed with Zeus and their new target performance chips.

calm down - and lets see how it goes on

They're refusing to provide customer support, or to respond in any way to the majority of folks who have given them money. They re-opened the possibility of folks losing hashrate, and their terms have yet again changed.

Let's face reality, at the onset their biggest selling term was: We will deliver by July at the latest, or your money back. You can have a full refund up until we ship.

Contrast that with now: You get nothing, maybe not even equipment, and you don't have a voice, nor will we support you.

You want to see how it goes from there?

im a customer too - and im very upset and very angry of whats going on there - i dont use my time to go to a lawyer just while i have nothing to do - just to be clear

but in this Special Moment - it makes no sense without knowing what they will do to write and write and write - so the calm down was menat

I wonder just how high the blood pressure would be for our bulldozer friend if he wasn't banned and could participate in this discussion.

Talk about lunacy, they're definitely showing they have no capability to control matters, and are passing the buck onto "customers". Notice how they blamed the public for their incapable management, and now are shifting the responsibility toward "customers" to control things.

This is gaining momentum to be one of the biggest crapfests yet.

Speculation …

a) winding down the company, starting a new one … giving customers shares in a new company and soliciting new funds ?

b) announcing new shareholder, new capital injection, increase the Viper to 500 mhs ?

Only time (soon) will tell.
With all the cloak and dagger stuff going on, I think you might be right with this assessment. I guess we'll have to wait and see

I'm sure one or more of their customers will keep us all informed.

Alpha-T and their sock puppets will be trying to justify whatever they are up to next by claiming it is the will of the customer …

This is quickly moving beyond the realm of an innocent screwup  …

We are going to disable visitor access to the announcements section as important decisions regarding our company must be discussed and voted on here. If you are a customer but have a visitor account please register with the email you used to order. If you do not have access to it as you bought an order from somebody else as always email [email protected] for help. When such a time comes these topics will be created in this section and will can only be viewed as well by customers.

Looks like Alpha are shutting out prying eyes. Another hole in their much touted transparency.

Oh, man...important decisions about the company being voted on by a tiny minority of the total customer base, on these forums? I hope you give people ample time to create a login and respond.

That about sums it up

Refund penalty

« on: Today at 02:41:51 PM »

Before I made my final payment, I asked about the refund policy penalty as it pertains to my deposit. I asked if I would be penalized on just the deposit portion or on my final payment as well. Payments told me it only applied to the deposit portion but now that I made my final payment, I am being told it applies to the total amount and I would receive a penalty on the entire cost. Can I get clarification on the cancellation/refund policy? It does not mention final payment in the terms of order. I have emailed payments 5 times for clarification but no response.

And now it has been deleted. Their new era of transparency lasted long. Wow!....Just wow!

Our forum is not for order, payment, refund inquires, as such they are deleted and the OP directed to the appropriate place of [email protected]
Yeah he emailed them 5 times already and has received no response so I'm guessing that didn't work. As you're here, why don't you clarify your refund position for us in an open public forum where posts can't be deleted or retroactively edited.

It would sure save your customers and your payments department a lot of time.
