you can't really use the old asic/miner argument here that Alpha customers would have been better off just buying bitcoin in january, since they would have lost half their value, but you would have been much better off plugging $5k into vertcoin in january than pre-ordering one of these pieces of shit...

Didn't see anyone asking for your useless opinion...dumbass troll...

wow, butthurt much?

Some additional hashrate in a cloud based setup sounds good. However, I hope you make sure to make delivering the ordered miners your highest priority. Please do not build a farm with what should be your customers hardware.

This is the plan, delivering the Vipers is our highest priority, our cloud service is a completely separate development. We have no plans to ever mine ourselves, we are strictly in the business of selling hardware, if we were we would not have announced to the world we are building our own machines. Due to the fast and unpredictable nature of this market having a solution that allows us to respond to the market relatively quickly is one where everybody wins; especially our customers.

Well that's good news. Best of luck. If you guys do manage to pull this off and produce on time and on spec you'll have won me over as a batch 2 customer. But I'm sure after all the grief I've given you, that's not much comfort Grin

I have a small question though.

At the end of last year, around october or november, I was working for CryptoNerd & we broke the story about Alpha-technology.

In e-mail communication with one your people (I'll need to look up the name), they were mentioning of having a demo test in December or January.

However, neither of those happened.

Are they scheduled for a different date? Because I would love to see one in action for some articles on CryptoArticles.com Smiley

Translation:

We're building a massive asic farm and are going to mine the snot out of it. Thanks for financing it and good luck getting any future ROI.

I'm guessing Script mining is soon going to go the way of Sha 256, controlled by large asic farms with small miners getting crapped on. I hoped KNC and Alpha wouldn't go down this route. Well there's always Golf I guess.

So, any updates? It's getting quiet here. With the A2 chips starting delivery soon, the viper seems much less profitable again.

Tape out? Damn, the only tape out at Zeus Miner is the packing tape to seal up the shipping cartons.  Cheesy They're shipping out their first batch next month!

And those Canadian Flower boys? They only just release a picture of their prototype FGPA yesterday  Shocked

Methinks the race is over. Zeus by thunder bolts and lightening. LOL!

Interesting, I hadn't heard of them. They will ship end of May they say, probably more like June if they are lucky, but who knows.
Great prices, I wonder what happens in this race.

This time BFL will lose because in the advertisement they said they know what they were doing.

If they said we are going to go on another God knows what and we hope to get there by December, then that would be one thing. But they said we've done it before and this time we know what we are doing, so they did use this sentence to induce confidence in prospective customer that the December date is likely. Although they can claim they did not say it was December 2013, they just said December, could be 2016.

Furthermore, if you announce in August an expected delivery in December (4 months) and then you overrun by 6 months, it means you were 100% wrong in your estimation, it means that unlike what you claim, you do not know what you are doing, hence you have made a false claim to customers.

The second thing the court will find (again) that the "first bullet" run is not so bad after all and that one way or the other it could have been made into a product, say a Jester instead of a Monarch (ROFL)

Hopefully one outcome would be to ban pre-orders in the USA. It is just a so flawed concept. The proper thing to do is a joint venture: hey all we want to build this and we need to raise a capital, so everybody becomes a shareholder. Gives everybody much better grounds to work on.

I think BFL will stay in business after this if they price the Monarch competitively.

Next claim in court is Alpha-t:
1) industrial grade equipment with 6 months warranty
2) mis-match the competition
3) banning users on their first good now terrible forum
4) adding curry and spices to the box and not listing food in the components thus causing havoc in customs around the world Smiley
5) Q2/Q3 2015
