you seem to lose more than 50% of your capital from trading because of one mistake, you can not control your patience and easily affected by the condition of the market. you should be able to control your patience to avoid such losses.
See again your strategy and fix the problem, patience and keep learning. Trade/ investment is not simple/ easy, need time & hard works to understand. I suggest you try accept with your loss and keep try to make money on the real market. And Never forget stop loss.
Losing 50% of your capital is normal in altcoins, most of them fluctuate about 20-40% a day. Don't compare this percentage loss with real world stock markets. When you lose this, you should know you can earn it back with the same ratio soon.
Believe me or not, it is just bitcoin which shows an amazing fluctuation in its worth on daily basis and if fails in doing so, then no altcoin can change its value too much on daily basis. Everyone knows that altcoins depend on bitcoin for their progress.
If you lose 50% of the money for you unfortunately but do not be sad business and enter the market, we must face the risk of losing any peace and continue to fight. you will win again. believe me.
Moreover, he has the opportunity to regain his loss. Every trader or even holder must have faced same circumstances at some point of their journey. It is not possible to have win and win situation in reality. The best is to take some rest if things are frustrating and then come back with full preparation. When it comes to trading discussion, it is quite technical and not everyone is capable of it. Trading requires patience and discipline to be success. My advise for you, keep learning your mistakes and don't give up. You should only pick major coins with huge volume. Why? Because it is not that easy for money movers to manipulate it. Avoid 'shitcoins" that usually listed with low volume.

I suggest you to do not trade anymore, because you will end much more money than what you have already lost. Trading is not for everyone in here, if you do not have skills, or if you do not know much about trading markets, then you are very exposed to losses.
Without trading means accepting losses in this market, I think we should continue to trade and see this failure as a lesson learned worth avoiding. Everyone will fail on the market, but to succeed, get yourself up and draw lessons for yourself, so that you can succeed. Only if you have failed to fear and do not dare invest will forever fail. This post was posted November 2017 and bitcoin surged last December so I guess that time OP already recover some of his losses. Though the market is going through a tough times these days many are surely losing some significant amount from their investment yet they still choose to hold.
Personally when I'm torn between this, I still choose to hold instead of selling it at loss. I just stand from my decision to hold until I get my desire value.

Don't be stress ,keep calm and be patience. This is risk in cryptocurrency when you got loss. Better than you join a signal trading, i think signal trading can help you to do trade. I always buy coin with high volume and price still green. I can take 20% profit a day from trading. I hope your luck can better than now
true sometimes we just need to stay calm no matter what may happen the profit of what you wanted you may still have it but of course be dedicated for what you love buy the coin that are having potential sometimes this is the reason why you make some loss.
maybe if you try to cut your losses when the coin has daily roller coster in price than you could be able to average the cost of your buyings and in the slightest pump you could get off from them.

Well, my advice to you to be able to save the remaining coins that you hold this time, change your strategy trading by finding another trading site which are applicable for your token or coins. Because they are to different compared of percentage.
Try as much as possible to find out what is really the problem for you to have lost half of your capital because there is a saying that problem identification is half solved.

When I first started in this market I lost 75% of my capital, I felt very scared but then I got back the capital and made a profit from high profit projects. I started trading since May 2017. when markets are down we may lose almost near to 80 percent of capital but again we wil regain in short period of time market corrections are common we will see quite often nothing to feel panic

your not alone dude my portfolio was down by almost 75% but when market was going down again i bougjt yesterday some few coins for cost averaging my portfolio from - 75%+ before now its -51%+ . i have no choice but to wait when market recover i do believe my voins would have a run up ince market wil be bullish judt be patience if you sold today you will lost your investment and may find hard time to recover.I started trading since May 2017. Just hold whenever happens just applied patience because it will bring you to success wait for the comeback and don't sell on the loss price.
