STeX exchange is definitely one to consider, where you can trade all currencies across each other rather than only against BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT. The also have a DEEP technology platform which WINGS project is currently looking to use and I hear IOTA will also potentially use it. They are currently in Pre-ICO that ends in 2 days.
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
There are coins that has potential to grow and increase its value all you need to do is to study that coin and check on its white paper and the development focus so that you could decide if you are going to invest on that coin. An example look at the market cap and check on the top 10 coins i think you can choose on the top ten because they have potential thats why they are on top ten. If you have chosen the right coin that alt coin is worth buying.
Any reasonable cap masternode coin is worth buying and hodling because of the passive income potential.

buy terracoin, vivo, and dash if you can, those are the best masternodes out there right now. there are some other small ones like 8bit and scorecoin if you dont have enough money for the big dogs
I review ongoing ICOs for work, and unfortunatelly not all of them are quite trustworthy, some are realy scam, I even can't get how can they publish such thing..
The last one that I think is worth noticing is Universa.Their ICO starts in a month, and they have already launched baunty campaign (that's how I found them)

Blackmoon Crypto. The team in incredible. They've been amazing with the community and they are working closely with US regulators. Since they are very open with US investors, its about as far from a scam as possible in this realm. Can you think of ANY ICO that allowed US investors? Blackmoon Crypto did.

I’d add Electroneum. Another good project currently having an ICO.
Monetha lost 75% after ICO and seems to be readuly to bounce back. It’s easy money to come.
Same for Tierion: great project. Seem to have touched the bottom and is vastly underpriced now.
If you wan’t to take less risk: TRST is a sure raise in the weeks to come, and a long term high potential.
If you want some high risk high reward: JET and ESP

I would suggest 0x, Openanx, Snip, Opus.
XMR, ARK, Waves, VTC, WTC and IOTA. thinking long term here you cant go wrong with these.

a big risk if we didn't analyze well, by using this and the forum itself will help us determine what project to support.
That's right we should always read every threads at the forum, because it really provides us enough and reliable information about the coins to invest for. Without the knowledge of those alt coins you won't be able to gain confidence in holding that typre of currency, as volatility presently affecting each price in the market most of the time.

I think the ETH price is consolidating. After a few more weeks, the price will rise again.

The days of profiting big through Eth has gone. Now the growth seems to be an steady growth. During the starting days of the year it was the days of ethereum, because the price pumping happened from a value less than $100 towards $500 in a very small time period.
For more regular people I would recommend some new ICOs with a good reputation. Because I think where to invest really depends on your budget... Eth and btc are good investment opportunity even now when they are pretty expensive, for sure..but don't start from investing all your funds in big coins, if you are a new investor with average budget..

I don't know if Monero still classifies as an "altcoin" given it's in the top 10 market caps, but it does look like one which will stand the test of time. Regulators can't stop it, and it makes sense for most of illegal trades to move there rather than Bitcoin.
Actually it is still considered that everythng that is not Bitcoin is an Altcoin. This is because Bitcoin was the original blockchain. So yes, Monero would still be considered an Altcoin in the crypto space. I think we have another couple months before we start to see that shift, depending on what happens in China....my guess China keeps using Cryptos, BTC clears 6k, and everything else goes up with it. Scenario #2 BTC gets hit hard by China resulting in some market instability short-term, but opening the doorway for altcoins mid to long-term.
