I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.
I think well, that's really a tough thing to answer. My seems lately even alot of the good coins are buying out or losing community support. Though many we can see but i think jenecoin,potcoin,dashcoin are possible good coins for a long term investment
I am here on the forum for two years already and I have watched how Etherum rised from 0.07$ to 300$! Of course I regret that I didn't invest in it before or in Litecoin, but at least now I am sure that many of altcoins, which cost cheap today and have the great idea behind it's creation, but not just a plan to become rich fast, all of them are very perspective and can bring a good profit in a long run.
Unfortunately I also missed Ethereum, Monero at their first stages. The problem today is the significant number of coins, so you must be highly experienced crypto investor to choose the right investment.

You can check to coinmarketcap.com , there you can see the list of the top coin for you to decide what coin you want to invest and buy so you can have a good profit there.
People hello, i am desperately looking for the name of a coin that i bumped into the other day but accidentally dismt bookmark, and now im not able to find it. Its a coin that claims "TO BACKUP THE INTERNET ON THE BLOCKCHAIN AS IT IS NOW TO SECURE IT FROM FUTURE CENSORSHIP"

so far Eth is an old coin that still has a high value and deserve to be near bitcoin because it has many users who invest in this coin, now the price movement began to increase although slowly but surely.
ETH, is worth buying coins for now. Look at the price of ETH now. It continue to rise from $.069 to $.074. Looking for a much higher price and profit for believing that ETH is worth buying for. 
what does everybody think about the future of WAVES? it was at $5 for a while and looks to have a solid team/ tech behind the project but its recently been down a bit, of course all the coins have been going a bit down lately and usually all bounce back together.... anybody here think that WAVES can ever hit double digits in the $10+ range

This one will be a long discussion wheter waves would reach for that price since there so many assumption that waves either will fall or not but if you think waves will get a good development on future then stake with it since sometimes our bad feelings can make us a loser and we will surely doubt if the coin we are looking for will get pump X1000 times in future.
If you would like to see some solid profits on your investment, then you need a real world use to form the basis for the coin project...

Actually, not alo copper is garbage,coins in the top 10 ex: eth,rxp,xem,...are high potential , not afraid to crash, rest of conin are uncertain, I think you should invest 2 ways, first you invest one of top 10 coins in coin marketcap long times, second you invest rest of coins to trade shortime:))

Something that the market is not saturated with and full of whale bag holders. Most coins mentioned are in the top 10 - work it out, if they are in the top 10, you might as well just invest in Bitcoin.
Even if a coin is in the top 10 most other coins besides bitcoin and ethereum have a lower market cap so the potential of growth for those coins is way bigger than bitcoin, so I think you are mistaken since all those coins can be a great investment if you can get in at the right time.

There really aren't that many strong ones. Tokes are a lot more interesting right now.

If I had to invest now I would probably invest in waves, ark and ripple. It think these coins have a bright future ahead. These coins can make a man rich in couple of years.
When it the issue of investment listening to too many advice will not help you in making a rational decision in most cases. There is no doubt, there are so many coins that have no potential of increasing in value. And are also good coins that has potential of increase in value.
In my opinion it's Ark. Very ambicious, good dev team, they are working on serveral things in the same time. They can really surpass most platforms in the nearest future

Everything depends on the term (short-term or long-term) of investment (trading). For long-term trading it is worth looking at heavy coins, such as BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, NEM. To select coins for short-term trading, you will have to study fundamental and technical analysis.
