For me it's ETH but the recent increase in prices seems like a bubble ready to burst, I just don't know when will a massive profit taking will take place. I'll wait for it to slow down a bit with some little ups and downs as that brings stability to the coin's price.
I just sold them out at 0.0065 and later buy back if falls
DOGE, LTC, Ripple, Ethereum - basically read a lot about what is going on with altcoins, just like you would any corporate stock.
Also, buying not too old coins can worth it. I mean some new coins in which you see some potential, or just got listed on a bigger Exchange
You must check all altcoin market for some time, to make the right decision. It take a lot of time and efforts and then buy. And yes, then you can have fast profit. I know some guys, which made some fast profit this way.

Something that the market is not saturated with and full of whale bag holders. Most coins mentioned are in the top 10 - work it out, if they are in the top 10, you might as well just invest in Bitcoin.
Maybe buying a thousand coins having 1 cent value won't hurt much but has a big potential of you raking up hundreds/thousands of dollars once it becomes mainstream.

I've invested in more coins, but yesterday i read about ETH and it's really amazing.
Right now i would vouch for ETH too as no. 1. But some alts have a big potential too.
