I believe the new "Facebook coin" Libra will open the eyes to a LOT of people. We'll see TONS of money come into alt coins soon!

maybe it happened later this year, but seeing some of the pumps that bitcoin has done hasn't succeeded in attracting altcoins to follow it. Either way, I was confused about what was happening, because only a few altcoins followed the pump from Bitcoin. even some of the altcoins tend to go down. hopefully this year will be better.

The season for the crypto market has come but it won't be continuous, you just can't see that the alts are also increasing because you are expecting more from them. The altcoin bull run will be seen if bitcoin reaches a respective higher price which is verifiable these days.
The end of year is becoming more exciting as the charts shows indication that we're actually running with the bulls now.

there is no guarantee when bitcoin rises higher and altcoin will follow in its entirety. because if you look at the market, it looks like altcoin must build their own bull. the large demand that goes only to the bitcoin market, it supports the increase in bitcoin, but not the overall increase in altcoin.

In my opinion altcoin bull run will happen if bitcoin do it first. And now we can see that bitcoins’ price is reaching $9,300. I think in a short time it will reach $10k and more. If this trend is continue to happen i think we’ll see altcoins bull run soon.

No more dump as bitcoin is already moving up, probably $10,000 next this month.

This could not happen this year but we still have to hold, we are here for long term investment and not for quick profit, so let's watch and enjoy the market situation for now and hope further progress will be seen.

where do you know about this news? I think the bull run will happen as soon as possible, we don't need to wait for Hardfork as you say.

usually altcoin price signs increase in price usually occurs when there is good news from existing altcoin projects, or when the altcoin enters an exchange that has a very high trading volume, when both of these occur surely the altcoin price will rise.

I just wish there was a better way to stay up to date with all of this. What you mentioned is for individual coins though. Do you know of any signs for the whole market as a whole?

there are still many traders using a minimalist strategy with stable coins being their mainstay, this continues to be a momentum of downgrading because the strong holders of each coin are reduced. Even though their price increase was suddenly strong but it still didn't last long. The only bullrunfrom altcoin is still projected with how bitcoin speaks.

I still waited for weak hands to dump their altcoins in btc pairs; then I will accumulate as much cheap altcoins as possible. This year, by now, altcoins have not been rallied in btc pairs; they kept calling. How far Bitcoin can rise that will mainly decide how deeply altcoins will fall. Based on psychological status of altcoin investors, they might dump their coins soon, and we need weak hands shake out.
