Ordinarily , this would have happened going be history and sometimes TA. In 2017 a lot persons don't know what caution is. They just believe everything will keep going up. That never happened and we have a big correction. So, people will trade altcoin with caution in don't see a big move.

I think we will witness a bullish rally of altcoins after Bitcoin breaks through and consolidates above $ 10,000. To the absolute majority of investors, it will become clear that the bullrun on the cryptocurrency market has taken shape completely and they will become more attentive to look at investing in altcoins, where profits will be disproportionately higher compared to BTC.

The btc run this early time will not let alts pump much as it still not in good shape to be in this current price but as it is now, we are trying g to see what the market has for trader .

I think btc pumped in 2017 was a new height for btc and once people move out of btc the next is alts and that might not apply here at this time so I see long side way in btc and that will also delay alts pump.

Sooner, or later, smart and determinant investors will jump on altcoins. There are of course always so many over-hesitated investors, whom will miss the altcoin train in coming weeks. There are good possibility this year for altcoins. Definitely the market is recovering generally and with a good prospect, profits could.come in handy. Though shitcoins are deep in dip, they will always remain shitcoins. So look for good altcoins and make a good selection, then you're good to go. Lots of coin even on IEO do multiple on listing so you can also watch out for those too.

Different things happen at different times in the crypto space. The last ATH for bitcoin happened at the same time with most of the well established altcoins. The only disparity i noticed was in other altcoins that just got lunched or those that were still being worked upon.
