Keep in mind most of us are relatively young. We can bear a completely different risk exposure. Not saying our parents should go all in, but many of them are used to traditional investment opportunities that are way more conservative than crypto could ever be. Additionally, they are tangible in most cases. We all love the digital world because we grew up with it.

you should not persuade them hardly, maybe they have different though with you. thinking the risk and scam probability in cryptocurrency market maybe make them affraid , as we know in several years ago we still see many fake project occur. dont only persuade them with profit probability only, educate them about the risk that may occur too.

Altcoins are good, but it is not always the case. Let's take for example, how some Polygon projects have dragged the carpet and caused damage, Polygold, Iron/Titan,.,,, Obviously, the crypto category has its limits and boundaries. they have full confidence in real assets. crypto-assets are not a convincing choice for old-fashioned parents.
but I saw some middle-aged people chatting with their colleagues about crypto investing. this is related to their stock investment which has not been good lately.
that means that parents who are willing and interested in investing in good altcoins are those who really understand how the investment financial management system is. those who used to be entrepreneurs or employees may find it difficult to introduce them to investing in altcoins.

If they don't invest even after your persuasion, you can just get the stats and make them realized what they missed for not hearing you. And best of all, invest your money in what you believe in. Most times it's really difficult to persuade people who is used to a particular pattern of life to adopt a new system especially when it's completely different from what they have known all their lives. I feel the only way to convince your dad is to invest in cryto make some real good money show him the returns on investment and with that he would like to join the train

Indeed, persuading people to invest is very difficult. Moreover, we invite people who are not familiar with Altcoins. But give them knowledge about Altcoins in detail, so that they understand about Altcoins. If they already understand and know Altcoins they will definitely be interested. If they are already interested that's where they start investing little by little. So they become the best investors.

IMHO, basically it's normal because most middle aged people are not very up to date about technology and they don't want to try new things because maybe the previous doctrine emphasized more stable investment options like gold.

In the case of your parents, I think he knows that crypto is very volatile compared to the stock market and prefers to continue investing in stocks because the fundamentals can be seen in the eyes where crypto is completely on the internet. Besides, maybe your dad is afraid of losing his assets because he has various dependents and payment to be paid so I think it's quite rational but you're not wrong to try convicing your dad to invest on crypto.
