In my opinion, it just depends on the moment and era. What is certain is that our parents had the best investment choice in their time, namely gold. because it is a safe haven. and for now I think there will be many parents who have a visionary view and follow the developments of the times especially one of their family members has started learning to invest in the world of the money market correctly even though the price is very volatile compared to the investment of our parents.

It is natural that an investor will not invest in something they do not understand or they do not have sufficient knowledge about, it takes extra patience to teach them about crypto, starting from blockchain and the technology in it so that they can see the potential in crypto.
Nowadays teaching others about cryptocurrency is very difficult, unless you have a lot of free time for other people, because on average now everyone has their own job so they think more about themselves than having to think about others which in the end will also not be appreciated with anything.

None of my friends and family members are into crypto and consider it a scam or something without a real value (except my gf , she is into this as much as me).

But it gets worse.(off topic) My high school was focused on chemistry and microbiology and now I continue studying chemistry.

My father in law keeps saying that I don't know what I'm talking about when we talk about some virus because he read something else on Facebook and this is all a conspiracy.

This hurts me but I can't "look for a new one"

So just accept them as they are and don't bring crypto in the discussion.
Resident of every poor and under developing country demonstrate the same things. I can relate with your memories, my friends and family members unaware of the virtual currency like BTC and other cryptocurrencies. They treat this sector as scam and threat to them, the communities. Things getting worse when government declare it risk and impose strict rule over using it. Such a insufferable scenario are passing surrounding.

Don't generalized it, it always depends on their knowledge of crypto as it will have to come first before they will decide whether to invest or not. it's not easy to explain to them but you can always explain brief information and if they are interested, they'll eventually make their own research and I'm sure they will find all the information they want to know as it's just free to access on the internet.

Digital currency is the future, and the decentralized systems could be the future as well, so regardless of our age, we need to be aware and we have to move as the world is moving.

Yes it's very hard to convince the middle age to invest in cryptocurrency and it's making them to give bad orientation to the young ones coming up. I don't think I could vividly remember how much I've made I just only investing in Bitcoin alone. There is much gains and assets in investing in cryptocurrency and I would want to op to try as much as possible with evidence to convince is people about how versatile one can made money in cryptocurrency. You can decide to trade, stake coins, hold and a lots more.

Maybe parents like your father are not very interested in what you have now because maybe he still holds his own old way of investing in stocks which he has never known in today's masses, let alone plunged into the world of bounty hunters, maybe he is still holding on to a different way.
OP is talking about investing in altcoin projects and not collecting bounties. Investment in stock is not much risk compared to investing in new projects as you can never trust whether the project will launch after investing your money and you need to have the trust of the developers to even think about investing and hence the risk is really high and no one will think about risking that much money and hence you cannot complain them either.

Everyone is free to think about whatever they want. If I am right about something and they don't listen to me, it will be them, not me, who will lose something.

So OP, don't be sad about this and invest more.
Actually there is no need to be listened to by people about every advice you give because other people also have their own thoughts in terms of investment and have their own way of carrying out each of their jobs.
it would be better if we focus on what we can do. there's nothing wrong with listening to suggestions. but the suggestion was not the final result. we have to do our own testing and analysis. we cannot depend our fate on others.

You can try to get your parents to use your account to do this again. If they see that they have made money, they will believe and maybe join the cryptocurrency market.
Many older parents are not open-minded and are not easy to accept new things. Because they have their own habits.
If your parents are unwilling to invest, you must respect your parents' ideas. They will not force you to accept new things in new areas.

Maybe what you say is also true and even so you still respect it,
what's more, everyone must have their own reference in terms of investing whether it's gold, stocks or land,
so I don't think we can force what other people do

maybe the middle-aged people are not interested in investing in crypto because this cryptocurrency is a new currency that has not been known to the world community for a long time. The journey of this cryptocurrency is still less than 10 years, therefore the volatility of this type of currency is still very high. Currency values can suddenly experience a drastic increase. Likewise with the decline in its value which can also occur in a very fast time.
We can not predict exactly how the value of this currency in the future. The potential loss can also be greater. Sometimes the exchange rate of Cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin is also considered unreasonable because it is too high.

Crypto is not popular in my homeland. People in my homeland love to invest stocks and bonds. And real estate is the most popular investment. Only few people invest in crypto. My dad loves to invest in stocks but he seldom has a positive net income from the stock market. It’s the fact that crypto is a better tool to earn money, especially for the Altcoin. Then., I try to persuade my dad to invest in Eth and BNB. They’re worth to invest. Take myself as a good example, I spent the weekly pocket money on my first Eth two years ago and earn more than 10X of money. It seems that Eth is still going up in the future. It’s a good investment during this economic recession period. I tried my very best to persuade my dad to buy Altcoin like Eth and BNB but he thought that crypto was very risky and unreliable at all. Investing in crypto is the best way to earn money in this economic recession. It means that my family loses the chance to become rich since my dad does not invest in crypto.
It’s hard to persuade those middle-aged people to invest in crypto. Do you think so?

Hahaha... You aren't wrong atall but this isn't common to parents alone as individuals in other categories share same belief as well. I think it is okay if one chooses not to. Choice of Investment is a personal decision... Your statement "my family looses the chance to become rich" caught my attention. I think you should consider another strategy to help take your family to the point you want them to get to. There are a whole loads of opportunities in the crypto space an individual can participate in to himself/herself and family live pretty much comfortably in a higher standard of living. Staking, farming, mining, play-to earn, just name it. You could participate in such activities to earn good passive income. Need a recommendation? Check out Seascape Network. A whole lot of opportunities in that platform 👍

Are you considering only 2 coins for investment? After all, it is very difficult to set the tone for large and rapid growth for such large currencies. Now, there are very popular cross-chain projects, such as: Solano, Matic, Near. You can consider and study very promising projects. Their fundamental technologies will allow them to expand their ecosystem and eth ecosystem into the first. Which, of course, gives a huge advantage over the same BTC, which grows due to the fact that it simply exists Smiley Therefore, the choice of coins for investment is now due only to the availability of technology, the time of crazy Defi projects is over and it remains only to invest in the long term

The best way to explain cryptocurrency to middle-aged people is in simple language. We can provide an understanding ranging from definitions, basic concepts, to the mechanism of cryptocurrency transactions. I think that way they will understand.
Summarizing the explanation into easy-to-understand language is the best way to explain cryptocurreny investing to your parents and relatives without basic knowledge of crypto, newspapers and television media have included crypto in some financial news thus encouraging wider crypto knowledge.

It is true that it is difficult to persuade and convince middle-aged people to invest in crypto especially those who have never heard of it. However, if we can give them a good understanding of crypto they might be interested in investing in crypto.
Giving understanding to middle-aged people is not as easy as we give understanding to college children or children at school, because they have to understand everything from scratch and even from very small things.

Expect that not everyone will accept bitcoin or cryptocurrency not everyone are knowledgeable enough to become interested in the world of cryptocurrency. Just let those people who keep bashing cryptocurrency. If your parents or any loved ones doubt cryptocurrency then show them your proof of earnings and investment. People nowadays won't believe if they do not see any proof.

Listening to you, I remembered an old saying. My home was incredible when I stepped into the cryptocurrency It's a hoax, you won't get anything, but I was convinced that it was a fact that when I first withdrew money from cryptocurrency, my family was convinced that my brother was now investing in cryptocurrency.

I think it should be easier for anyone already familiar with stock market to understand cryptocurrency. There are some similarities between stock market and cryptocurrency.  For example: Market cap,  pricing,  Graph plotting,  trend and recently,  defi!  I am a middle age myself and I have been in cryptocurrency for more than seven years.  If you can get your dad to have an open mind in approach,  he will get into quick and learn to love it!
