I’m not sure if it’s the best option but maybe ripple could be fine to invest. Now it’s still under $1 and many people think that it’s gonna hit $2-3 again in the coming months. I don’t think that its so trustable but maybe there is chance..

Try to invest in DOCADEMIC (MTC), go to hitbtc exchanges and see how that coin movement. It was from .017$ and now it up to .063$. That was almost 400% increase in just several days.
Cryptocurrencies under 1$ doesn't mean the coin is cheap ! The market cap is more important..

I think the best option is to invest in ADA. More I do not know promising coins with a price below $ 1.

Most coins are less than a dollar anyway even Ripple, does it make them a good coin to invest in? There are lots of good coins out there, ADA, TRX, XVG ...
if you want to buy and hold it for a while, there are so many options, I suggest you choose a coin that already exists on many major exchange, or you can follow ICO to buy coin below market price

I thought the ripple was good. Stellar and Cardano as well. It costs about $ 1. They have good volume and circulating supply. I think it is quite profitable for long term investment.

There are so many altcoins under $1 that could moon, I currently hold small bags of STORM, TAU, ETH, QASH, COSS, ADA, NEM. But prepare to hold for longer duration as market still recovering slowly. And buy on dip/low.
I believe price per coin/token is significantly misleading in Investment. Would you buy an Ether (unlimited supply) at 375 USD? In normal supply/demand economics, unlimited supply should push the price towards "0", however, there is a utility created by Ethereum, so the price is increasing/decreasing...but not going to "0".
