So my list of altcoins under one dollar to invest:
Electroneum: Big hype, good partnerships, very stable price without any news from the devs. The big announcement with the big mobilephone companys will come, and then it will rise very high
PlusCoin: A cahsback system of ethereum basis, actually at the 1/4 of the ICO price. Will be listed in many exchanges in the next days, very high chance to make a good profit
Verge XVG: Had an big hype last year, who will come back. Cheap privacy coin for totally anonymous transactions

Many coins to choose from regarding altcoins below $1. Since most of the coins are now onsale due to bitcoin 's price crash. I think you can check on cardano (ADA), oyster protocol (PRL)  and appcoins (APPC). But research on them first before buying.

One of the main reasons behind the post-ICO poor performance was just because they didn't have a working product yet & haven't been marketing themselves much while they focused on getting everything ready, but their platform & first funds are due to go live in Q1 2018 which gives the BMC token a use case & should see a decent increase in price.

If you are looking an altcoin that is less than 1$ value and has a potential to grow then i prefer that you buy ripple, this coin is very cheap and is only good for short term investment.

a good opportunity to choose altcoin as an investment especially if it currently has a price below $ 1 you can choose one of the coins that currently have good potential. such as bkx and fdx. it can be made as an option.

Yes, it is a great hing and blessing that we should grab that the market value of altcoins is lower than one dollar in this way we can invest more money and obtain lots of altcoin at lower rate. Rmember follow the concept “Buy when its low and Sell when its high”.

Have a look at Quantstamp/QSP, which is a token with focus on smart contract security.
They're having a demo at their seed investor in March, which should boost its popularity.
It had a nice drawback from the ATH in early January.

I'm following that coin also since definitely they have good projects offered that can give a huge boost to their tokens, And also I can recommend you to add the UTRUST(UTK) on that list since this coin is big and the team rotates it is so good.

But the coin really amaze me by know is the Cindicator since if you look at the team you can see that they are nobody since they apparently they work on big companies and they can be called an all star team on crypto scene.

I think TIO or trade tokens is very nice altcoin to invest now, because the price of is not so high and it is very affordable for many people and i think that if we will buy TIO now i am sure that we can make many money from it in the future.

I would suggest you add VIB or VIBERATE on your portfolio. Why? Because it's a great token and already has many agencies connected to it. Viberate is a token because it can already be used to buy tickets and reservations. Already been invited to grammy's awards.

I think stellar's price looks good for buying in these times. Its price is under $1, but in my opinion, it have a really good potential to catch much more better prices in the future.

I have invested enjin, monetha, gvt, zrx and ada. I definitely believe these coins. They have good team and roadmap.

current market conditions are unstable and tend to decline. this is a problem for all of us, but I think you can take wisdom from this decline. you can buy some cheap altcoin under 1 $, note, the market is currently low. great opportunity to buy some of the altcoin you have analyzed.

I think  try to invest to Aion, they said that Aion is building the World Wide Web of blockchains,
where you can write smart contracts on one blockchain like ETH or NEO to trigger an event on a different blockchain like Bitcoin or Ripple.
