If people who know about the cryptocurrency market are known for their volatility, then there are no wild assumptions that say altcoins die. Moreover, altcoins such as ETH, ADA, XRP, and TRON have been tested on the market and have strong fundamentals, so they will not die. For example XRP, even though the problems they experienced were so severe, in fact, until now XRP has survived and has not died.

Altcoins are not diet but most of the time the value of it decreases which does not mean that it will not go higher again. If you choose good altcoin then there should be no doubt in your heart about its success but continue waiting because during Bull season they will surely increase in the worth.

Ethereum, XRP, ADA and TRON are all successful projects and without dying they will further grow and glow as a result of which altcoins will become more acceptable. Scam projects are also there which only gain your attention for few months and then dies which has negative effects on whole altcoins but it is the fault of holders who don't have any experience and knowledge about such coin but wants to invest money into it.

Only desperate people say that altcoins are dead, that maybe they can't get what they want as previously thought, or that they are too ambitious. because, until now, altcoins are still being traded and have become a commodity that is highly sought after as an attractive investment. There are many altcoins that have great potential and continue to trade well, such as ethereum, BNB, SOL, ADA, etc., and many benefit from the faithful trading they do.Don't believe what they say because they are actually looking for an opportunity to buy as much as possible from those who panic.

The cryptocurrency market is known for its volatility and has historically gone through cycles of growth and decline. During a bear market, the price of most cryptocurrencies tends to fall, and it is not uncommon for some cryptocurrencies to lose value or become inactive. But not all are the way I see it and some have stronger fundamentals and use cases that could contribute to their long term success.

Regarding the altcoins, ETH, ADA, XRP, and TRON mentioned, these coins have unique qualities and use cases that may contribute to their future success. Even though they may have experienced a drop in price during a bear market, this does not mean that they are dying or no longer investing. They're all there as long as they're not weird freaks like LUNA and FTX.

Watching the current market and the demise of ALL crypto ... is this the end for certain coins?

How do people think the likes of ETH, ADA, XRP, TRON etc will go from here?

I just checked the date and realised that this was posted when all altcoins were bleeding and were trying to recover from COVID-19 losses and black swan. Right now, I'm sure you have seen how all this has played out and how well you could have used either the Dual Investment Strategy or DCA method to get into those coins during their downtimes

Several altcoins are great for making small payments with almost zero fees, so they have a real reason to own some. Others will be around for a long time, even if they are way down from their all-time highs - Solana (SOL) and The Sandbox (SAND) are two examples which are alive and heading into the future.

I don't think these coin should be classified as dead because the Crypto currency market is unpredictable. And you can not tell what will happen next. Just like ETH has claimed $2365 eho would have think of that after a big dip in price some months ago. What some coin need is time. With time you would see there performance.

I can say that altcoins cannot be used as investment assets for the long term. Many altcoins have died one after another. It will be safer if you choose BTC as your investment target. Some altcoins can last quite a long time, but remember LTC or Waves which are currently not experiencing significant price changes?

LTC and Doge are whaling if you mine them with an L7

They have been the most profitable coin to mine from Jan 2021 to Dec 2023. A three year time span.

but I think not all altcoins are like that because in my opinion there are still altcoins that are worthy of long-term investment such as ETH and BNB. ETH is the current king of altcoins and has a very large community, while BNB is supported by the largest exchange currently namely BNB, I think there is no doubt about long-term investment in these two altcoins. There are also new altcoins that have good prospects such as Arbitrum and Aptos, both of which have very large funding raised and I think are also worth investing in.

OP posted about altcoins being dead last year and it's most likely that it became better after a year. But not all altcoins have and will survive. I think that there were a lot of them that have been dead forever. I also get the idea from some people that if it's about investing to any altcoin will give profit, it's not always the case. We're not yet on that season and by people mean anything, don't be too gullible with such words because it may just lose you a lot of money.

Just like you said, last year, there were a lot of dips in the market and some altcoin dumps, and we couldn't survive them. According to the OP, even the altcoins he gave as examples are still in the market despite the fact that the price is not very bullish, apart from ETH, which is still doing well. The other coins are not yet permanently dead.

Altcoins could be investments that favor some people while others might not be favorable and can cause losses. That's why investors are advised to invest more in Bitcoin or to have better knowledge about the altcoin market before investing in altcoins.
Many are still surviving and thriving but many can't just move on to the next years to come because they're likely dead. But the ones that he has mentioned, they're all doing good and there's no need for him to think of them as bad altcoins if we're talking about the performance.
And if we're going to talk about bad altcoins, there are certainly a lot of them and its due to what they are promoting and working on but on the other side, they're good in performance for their charts and trading volumes so, that's like way-way around.
When it comes to the best for an investment now, altcoins have it and there is no controversy about this unless the person is not sincere. I think it's now unwise to be down-talking altcoins with the current realities where all the old ones I know are moving higher in price now. Even if some didn't move much, once you buy them at the right lows, you get to make your money. And the way some of the new projects coupled with the old ones are performing these days is a very good reason for a shift of position on the coins/tokens. Some had moved over x10 already even when the full bull run season has not come, I wonder what would happen when the season finally comes.

You see, it's all about investments, it must be followed thoroughly, and not judge them by what has happened. What I've learned now is that cryptocurrency has its bullish and bearish seasons, and during the two seasons, they (altcoins) get to move more than Bitcoin. This calls for traders and investors to plan their game very well, they should know the time they will buy them and get to make the full out of it and opt-out during the bearish season to wait for another bull run. And by then, they would have had another opportunity to buy again at a very low price, and it goes on like that. Many rushed in at first, but now, I believe they are wise as to know that not all assets behave the same way, and when you know the ones you invest in very well, you get to make more money.

Yes, some altcoins turn to dust, no one wants to use them, attention constantly shifts to others. Today we are discussing one asset, a month later another, everything is not constant in the crypto industry. You need to constantly monitor news and current events in the field of cryptocurrencies to avoid bad results when investing in altcoins.

What you say could be true, but it could also be incorrect because there are still many altcoins that are very good to use as long-term investment assets. But if you refer to altcoins as you say, of course I really agree and must admit that they are indeed altcoins whose development is very insignificant, especially for waves. So if you refer to that, I really agree that it cannot be used as a long-term investment and will actually be ineffective because the funds used cannot be developed further.

But if you want to carefully observe and analyze the many altcoins available in the best rankings on CMC, I think there are still many that are good for long-term investment. But if it is better to be clear, what you say about BTC is something that is the best for use as a long-term investment because its character is very good and can be used as the best long-term investment tool to date.

Crypto is famous for its high volatility, and this happens almost every year. However, we cannot conclude whether an altcoin died or not just because the price fell, or just because they waited a few months, but did not see significant developments, because the development of an altcoin sometimes depends on the project itself, market conditions, and also other factors.
The condition of the market depends if a an altcoin can survive or not, it all lines to structure form for the roadmap of altcoins. Altcoins dead? It's not our fault to witnessed a failed altcoin project, but the people that should be blamed for failed project are the team behind the existence of the particular altcoins, because they're suppose to be prepared in the first place, mapping out for the project challenges and also prepared for the negativity and positivity. The price of altcoins does fall from the top, we have benefited and also made losses from these altcoins projects in the market.

It seems that OP had panic and negative thoughts that occurred due to the decline in altcoin prices at that time, and maybe OP had waited long enough, but had not seen significant developments in altcoin prices, so he asked like that. Well, I'm pretty sure if OP is holding large assets, he probably already has the desire to sell the assets he owns. However, prices are now recovering, and basically, that's how the system works. Yes, that seems to be a normal reaction from someone who had relied mostly to altcoins and when you're too diversified because that's not giving you the good time to think about what you should invest with your money. This is why someone has to put some BTC first into his portfolio.
It makes your portfolio flexible and you're not going to think that the ones you're holding is totally dead or won't give you a panic because you know its performances for all of these years.

Agree. Whether it dies or not is the responsibility of the project itself, as you said, especially if there is no significant progress. I think we all here have eyes to see what is appropriate and what is not and if we make the wrong choice again that would be extraordinary.

Yes maybe he is quite pessimistic about altcoins, because indeed all crypto assets last year were hit by a very big storm, people panicked selling their coins, dumping into the market to save themselves for fear of the same fate as Luna, so I think it's natural for him to think like that last year.
But look at the end of this year, the plantation is back in the green, the average altcoin has a decent increase, and I think people who held or bought at the beginning of the year, today are smiling at their portfolio.

Except for those who bought when ATH coin was him, I think it will be difficult to draw a smile on his face, but not bad for a breath of fresh air from a green market.LOL

The numbers of bad compared to good coins are by far, but it always depends on how a trader will take his position, everything will
be considered as how he understands the concepts and how he deals with his research.

It's you who needs to adjust when you decide to invest in this kind of business. There are opportunities and there are more on the risk side.
Where you need to use all the resources that you can have.

The alt coin will continue as a part of the crypto industry. It's for the investors and traders and make a good use of them.

OP might have had the same opinion when the bitcoin price went below 20k. This is the natural behavior of the crypto market and people who don't like the market. Even the massive rally of bitcoin and altcoins can not change their minds. These are the followers of peter schiff i think who is well known for talking trash about bitcoin. But the good thing is the crypto community doesn't care about all this because they believe in its long term potential. Those who are saying that altcoin is dead don't know anything about the market.
