if my prediction is MOnero, Dash, Eth will last long, even though the trust of ETH is down, but the coin transaction capacity is still high and I am sure Monero can be a good alt coin, transaction capacity keeps increasing and this will be a shining altcoin that will last for a long time.

it depends on what you call surviving!
being around and being traded, or mostly pump and dumped is not really surviving in my opinion but if that is the definition you have in mind then there will be lots of the altcoins that can survive.

but as a real project with something to offer and being developed, and hopefully contribute to the cryptocurrency world at least or at best become a currency; that is a whole different story and in my opinion none of the altcoins fall under this strict definition. but you can call some of them like litecoin and monero as coins that have many of these aspects and can survive.

I agree with your opinion .

the coin that will survive is a coin that becomes the currency of a country and we already understand if the coin has become a currency is certain and obviously many people and the whole world mangakuin will coin

Dogecoin is a good coin? Yeah sure....

Dogecoin is always good, might well be the last one standing, but there are still some good ICOs out there.

Nowadays, the coins that seem most promising maybe only Eth and Litecoin. Because beside bitcoin, these are the most potential and advance features in ctypto world.

For Altcoin I'd like to settle on Ethereum. I saw ethereum being a useful altcoin for many. There are so many ICOs that are based on ethereum platforms. With so much support and given its utility I think Ethereum will survive. They have good network transaction support. It is really fast and I was able to transact in a matter of seconds only

according to this BTC, ETH and LTC that can survive for the future and coin coins will last for a long time because it has a good popularity and potential, especially Ethereum very much interested because it has the potential and good development, because this year many altcoins are popping up and for that I prefer the coin on top

Recently, there has been a lot of talk about the fact that many altocoins will not survive in 2018. As a matter of fact - many sh*t coins die every week. If you want to be completely confident and sleep peacefully - buy top 20 of CoinMarketCap.

As for new projects - choose infrastructure projects and always pay attention to the team and their development experience. These projects might give the best return on investments.

Altcoins that have working products are likely to survive more so than those in the dev stage. Many in the dev stage will run out of funding and just die

Altcoins that might survive in the future is Ethereum and Litecoin. Altcoins are just like stocks, they will survive as long as they have use cases and they are pretty stable price coins in the market. As far as I know, there are many coins will survive in the future just hold and prove the worth, their chances of surviving in the future is very high.

only the strongest will survive aльтp. Eth, NEO, perhaps, will survive because the community is emotionally tied to it, and dev is very operational. Altcoins remained the same as bitcoins, but is a little which, undoubtedly, will pass the test time based on good reasons and the level of development.

The popularity of cryptocurrencies or digital currencies has been increasing rapidly after bitcoin was invented, various other currencies were introduced in order to make considerable improvements. Maybe Litecoin also holds a pretty decent position 5th in terms of market capitalization on Coinmarketcap with a market cap of 8.5 billion dollars and an individual price of $153.98 but for me, litecoin would survive in the near future.

Exactly. Now that cryptocurrencies have become extremely popular, new altcoins have been emerging which aim to solve Bitcoin's underlying issues. Some altcoins have managed to deliver the goods for quite some time with their prominent development teams and communities, allowing them to survive in the future. Coins like Litecoin, have been in crypto land for a couple of years, as they deliver real use cases to the mainstream world. Since it's often compared as silver to Bitcoin's gold, it will become much more valuable in the future.

Things aside, cryptocurrencies like Litecoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, ZCash, Monero, Dash, NEO, Cardano, Bitcoin Cash, among others will survive in the future. They'll only remain in crypto land if people continue to use them, and trade them over the cryptocurrency markets. Otherwise, they'll become abandoned and other new coins will take the lead with better technology, and real-world applications. While most altcoins are overhyped, there are a very few which rise slowly in value and adoption over the course of time. Just my opinion Smiley

Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin
😎I think all coins that have a good investment and have a strong security value proved.
and coins that do not easily fall while having problems always survive and give the best ..
it is a coin that will survive in the future😊

This is a coin that inspire confidence in me. nxt-ardr and ethereum. I do not know how much they will live but they have a very large community of developers and good. There are many contenders for survival but talking about them will be commonplace, they are still very young but promising.
The main problem is that most of the coins is not aimed at a long life, and just to get as much money from unsuspecting users as possible.

Judging by what we have seen throughout the years, IMO, the only coins that have the chance to survive in the future are the ones offer new and disrupting features. All the other ones will end up dying

No one, follow the technology, someone will create more innovative cryptocurrency and everyone jumps to another boat.
I would say something like zcash with extreme privacy protection

LTC used to offer ASIC resistance, now it offers nothing. And DOGE is a crapcoin that used a dead 2003 meme to gain some hype & traction which quickly died in a few months. I don't understand why people would even consider it will survive in the future, it's already dead. SUrvival doesn't just mean "the network is still up". It means that the coin is being traded and developed actively. In order to survive in the future a coin needs advantages and prospects to become something great.

My vote goes to XMR.
