Ethereum is the most promising technology investment out there. It's quickly proving to be one of the most profitable investments of all time.
Ethereum blockchain is the best network to support any business or program. Its ability to solve problems with accuracy and precision has no rival.
Bank of America is the first financial institution to work with the Ethereum blockchain. The company premiered an Ethereum-based application that will help customers secure their transactions.
This application was created with the help of Microsoft, with the goal of speeding up mainstream adoption of Ethereum technology.
The application packages customer information into blockchain packets that can only be accessed by the private parties involved in the transaction. This prevents the information from being emailed out, eliminating multiple privacy concerns.
Ethereum’s ability to secure our finances is phenomenal. But both Bank of America and Microsoft want the application to be more than a security resource. It has to be a pioneer, winning the trust of the public.

This will be one of the first Ethereum-based applications that everyday consumers will interact with.
Technology adoption happens slowly and often without consumers knowing it.
Since Ethereum is the only technology being incorporated by major institutions — even though these corporations have had more than 10 years to collaborate with Bitcoin. That alone assures Ethereum's long-term profitability.

maybe Ethereum can survive in the future because this coin always jumped its price from time to time.
Altcoins have come to stay just like bitcoins but there are a few that are undoubtedly going to stand the test of time based on good reasons and the level of development. I will say ethereum, monero, Qtum and even Zcash. They are promising and the market cap speaks volumes so those are my picks.

Its not that easy to predict about altcoins. Because just imagine bitcoin had long journey itself to reach so long and as a rigid coin. Altcoins are dumped easily because people tend to get quick profits from it and then eventually they are drained as people move toward new coins. The altcoins are being invented daily so market is full of it. This has led to rat race of coins and it is also making investors where to invest their money. So it is hard to say which coin will survive.

There are a lot of altcoin but among them I think Entherium will lead the market and be able to survive well. In the future there will be many other altcoins and will be rivals of Entherium

if ethereum rip-off also it dead, 'll opt for all ICOs that is ethtreum based.i do not believe so its scam. and who is telling to scam to ethereum, he is lacking to earlier commit to ethereum.heye
There is no one who can predict this thing and that too exactly in way it will happen in the future. According to my assumption, ETH is having a very good potential to survive in the coming days, though there are few other good altcoins available as well but ETH is gaining more name in the international market than any other coin which will help ETH in having a better future in the days to come.

There are some alcoins that I think will last a long time, not much, but I think ethereum, zcash, dogecoin and litecoin are the right choice for investments, or you have other altcoin options Grin

Probably I will sound too traditional, but I think that only altcoins with the best capitalization will survive in future. I vote with both hands for Ethereum and Litecoin. I believe that Ripple will be used for sure
Agreed, same time the future will be completely functional through the digital currency or the token system for transactions. Based in that I believe most of the altcoins will survive and continue to get used on different needs. Those that been indicated in the above quote might be more popular than other altcoins.

I can clearly say bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, dash, monero, zcash, factom etc. These kind top of top coins will stay alive. Quantum coins won't die as well. Some exchange coins will not die too.

I agree with you about litecoin
but I'm not very hopeful about dogecoin
maybe waves may survive in the future
Dogecoin is in a dark age, and it's on the edge of failing, many new better competitors show up, and soon dogecoin will become worthless. But there is some possibility dogecoin will have some pump because of the joke coin, is the only coin that survives for a long time.

I suppose that in 2 years from now, most of the top 10 altcoins will have survived and seen growth but it might be a very different story in 10 years from now. Technologies evolve, markets too. Who knows what innovation or regulation might shape the market in the future ?  Cheesy

I want to believe in LTC/NEO/Deep Onion  Cheesy

Altcoins that could provide solid development, innovation, and most of all, usability will most likely succeed over the long term. There are many prominent altcoins in the market, which you could buy right now with their own use cases. If you've been paying close attention to their price movements, they have been rising in value exponentially during the year, reducing Bitcoin's total market dominance.

Thus, if everything continues as is, altcoins would be widely used in the mainstream world for various applications, while Bitcoin will remain as a store of value.

The altcoins which prove to have better stability, technology, and usability, would likely remain on top and overcome other cryptocurrrencies on the markets. There is a fierce competition on which provides faster transactions, anonymity and user acceptance from around the world. Just my opinion.

Absolutely correct. Couldn't have been written better  Grin Amazing times ahead.

Based on what it has been seen among the wide array of altcoins such as development, innovation, and security issues, what altcoins might survive in the future?

In my opinion, I think that the only ones prone to survive would be good old altcoins such as Litecoin and Dogecoin, but I may be wrong.

Nevertheless, I would like to know your opinion about this as well as any altcoin that might be worth holding onto for the long term.  Grin
I still hope for eth to stay afloat in the future because I want to have it and am collecting it
