you can use metamask. Download metamask in your chrome browser. You can't use public computer. You should use your personal computer to download. Metamask is secure you connect with mew to transfer token. To transfer eth you can use metamask only. I also have lost tokens because log in using pv key. I think for now Myetherwallet and Metamask are still the best wallet.

And For now I use Imtoken to store my ERC 20 Token, because it's easy to use.

Metamask vs Ledger Nano S I believe in it. really good
Myetherwallet have many alternatives, metamask, hardware e.g trezor .Imtoken is what i used and i don't find alternative because is secured.
