Anything can happen in this crypto world and I have the same experience as you. I think this is very disappointing because some projects have died. And many of the dead projects use KYC. But projects that do not use KYC can achieve Exchange. We must work hard and be more careful in making choices.

for now many projects use kyc to get their bounty prizes, but not really their projects are good for the future so we have to be careful to do kyc if it does not determine that the project is a potential project if there is no potential or clarity.

This is the reason people need to look into as bounty is concern, you are right about that most of the project who received people's personal details through kyc are no where to be found, so what are we now talking about a project with no future trying to secure their self by requesting kyc. They are all scam using it for something else

I think we should not judging bounties with KYC are scam because many bounties with KYC paying their hunters. Perhaps the token not listed in exchanger yet and developers team make priority to develop the project instead listed on exchanger. KYC needed because government regulation and i think its good

Maybe they have other option they need to become successful first the project before they requiring each participanta of the bounty to submit their personal information to make sure they have reward expected. Because mostly who implementing kyc are not successful and other are scam

I totally agree with you about this one. And it is very annoying when you provide all your details to a project that ends up giving you nothing in return. KYC of these days require a lot of detailed information from you too. It makes the whole thing complicated.

KYC in crypto wouldn't have been so much of a concern if the reward was good because platforms like Facebook and twitter have also been collecting our personal details but we don't earn anything from those platforms as well
It is part of the concern of the gov't because there's money involve. With the thing about facebook, twitter, social medias and even google. Yes, we don't earn anything from them but they are collecting our data which has been sold to their advertisers. But this thing has different purpose, in exchanges, you need to pass on KYC to use their service furtherly or increase your limits.

KYC actually now can be very frustrating as result of the inefficiency of some ICO bounty managers. It become very frustrating when you keep trying to pass the KYC and it doesn't go through. As if you don't pass KYC you don't get any token.

I participated in several projects where KYC was required and, in fact, not everyone paid me rewards. Sometimes you can refuse the award altogether if you look at the final spreadsheet. If you are paid a penny, then there is no sense to pass verification for this.

I concur with what you posted at OP,  seriously most of those bounties got dumped,  only few of them progress,  the kyc is just to stop multiple users even scam ico now use kyc

I actually experienced this problem. And I have never again done KYC if the project does not have the potential and develops in the future. Because KYC is very important, our data. Therefore, my advice if you want to do Kyc to get a payment would be better if you look at the project. KYC may be misused if the project does not develop or die in the future.

There is one thing I have realized from my experience with KYC for bounties. Almost all the projects I have provided my personal information to them failed to even get listed on exchanges and the project dies off. Surprisingly, those that didn't require KYC paid me and the project is truly developing. My point is, am beginning to think those project requesting hunters to go through KYC are just in for their information to trade and do not have any intentions to develop their crypto project so let's be vigilant about whom we carelessly give our details to, for some peanuts...May God bless our hustle
There might be something, considering how companies hunt for personal contact data everithing is possible. Thanks for the warning, i will pay attention.

But your detect was wrong I think which ICOs offered KYC information this ICOs could be successful but give us some little peanuts payment that has no value. KYC is just a process to confirm your customers person not scammers even same for investor.

Some like that but not all projects that use KYC fail and die in middle of the road. new projects every day are very many bro, maybe you only follow 10% or even less than a number of projects that use KYC. so in my opinion it's wiser if we study but not blame one party related to the project using the KYC

the existence of KYC does not guarantee the success of a project, there are still many projects that do not require KYC but still provide the promised rewards and the project is growing rapidly, I am also very careful in filling KYC, because of the risk of misuse of the data provided so we must be careful if we follow projects that require KYC

Lets not close the possibility where there are really an ICO projects who are just there to get those information of the bounty hunters and do nothing but use it to scam. But also dont forget that there are projects who really is worth it and needa KYC to join. Its really just a matter of analyzation and luck. Sometimes those who dont look legit is not and those who is not is legit.

Not every project that asking for KYC doesn't mean its a good project, of course not! There are many of the project who asked for KYC and yet in the end they didn't give the rewards to their participants and to their investors too. That's why We must be wise in choosing a project asking for this KYC, make sure it has a potentiality to be list in the top exchange platform.
I agree , it is not the best idea to pass kyc on each ico , it is better to select these projects and pass already , there are a lot of Scam projects now and kyc just for distraction

There really should be some sort of Blockchain solution that can be used to identify you and your country of residence without actually providing information of a personal nature that can used for identity theft. There where so many projects working on this last year but not a single one seems to have created a solution that can work with ICO's.
