I think we don't have to fill KYC but the teams that need to fill KYC because they are responsible with the project, the investor doesn't want to get scam. So I think it does not make sense if they require the investor or participants to fills the KYC. But it's okay if the participants need to fill the personal identification just to make sure that they don't cheat as the participants. So if you don't want to fill KYC, you need to select the project that doesn't require to fill KYC. I hope that someday, the team of the project needs to pass the verification before they can launch the project, so the investor and the participants will know that they are a legit people who run a legit business.

There is one thing I have realized from my experience with KYC for bounties. Almost all the projects I have provided my personal information to them failed to even get listed on exchanges and the project dies off. Surprisingly, those that didn't require KYC paid me and the project is truly developing. My point is, am beginning to think those project requesting hunters to go through KYC are just in for their information to trade and do not have any intentions to develop their crypto project so let's be vigilant about whom we carelessly give our details to, for some peanuts...May God bless our hustle
I also drew attention to this pattern. Now I am going through the Kyc procedure only in the projects of the Amazix team, because their projects most often appear on the exchange.

Some ICOs don't reach their desired softcap so they ask for your ID and then sell it on the dark web. Only pick good bounties to support otherwise you get treated like expendable crap. Someone can easily use your ID to buy stuff on the dark web, not worth the risk

KYC on new projects that doesn't have a reputation is not safe but if they hire a third party kyc service it is much better with high security, I dont trust website that store kyc on their site some are just giving a google form to fillup which is not secure, giving sensitive data is like allowing them to have access to us which is uncomfortable what if they got hacked or they just making an alibi and then sell our info its too risky.

You should not provide your personal details for this couple of bucks. Avoid any bounty which requires KYC.

You serious? Not all bounty that need KYC, have no value on their tokens.
Not avoid any bounty which requires KYC. But, wise in choose bounty with the KYC system.

Yours is a good testimonial that a KYC is not a guaranty that the project will succeed, I have a similar experience in the past, I shifted my bounty campaign to gambling sites because so many ICO are asking for ICO and it's hard to pick the right ICO to invest.

You just realized the intention of KYC requirements in most of the cases. I discourage anyone to do KYC because it's too much risky than you think. You should not provide your personal details for this couple of bucks. Avoid any bounty which requires KYC.

If i check todays situation i see that nearly all ICO projects, bounty projects and exchanges asking our KYC procedure. There was nothing about our KYC last year but today we have to send it to every time. This is something unpleasant because we all came to this world for privacy and we don't have any today..

Your point is right but they do have a justification that the kyc is a requirement from the regulators but i fully agree the argument that kyc should only be necessary for investors, bounty hunters do not fall in investor category they are more like promoters or workers so they are not legally bound to reveal their identity or finances.

I don't think so, I did have a failure in some projects that asked for KYC filling, and part of the project turned out to be a scam, at first I was very hateful and distrustful of some projects asking for KYC, but in recent times almost all projects needed KYC for bounty hunters. and it turns out they are proven to be developing.

When projects asking for KYC then it is mainly to steal your identity when they started of their ICO with fake team.So when you care about your identity to be sold out to somewhere don't join there and ask the manager about the requirement at the time of joining the bounties.
Not all I guess turn to scam if you submitted KYC/AML, there are still legit companies who can you trust most regarding KYC. We can't blame them if they implement KYC because there's a lot of abusers now who grab the opportunity if they know that they can earn money. Nowadays, let's just accept the fact that KYC implementation is a must but choose wisely who shared your personal identity.

Listing the coin do not depend on KYC rather it was the current market situation. Maybe you have just encountered bounties that were not really onto KYC stuff and even got listed. If I share you my experience related to yours, then I have received tokens that I undergone KYC procedures, so far I have sold them at fair price and got profit from them, so it really doesn't matter on KYC.

Often I do Kyc only to receive bounty reward but I have to be very careful about it, sometimes it must be Kyc but tokens have no value.

Well it depends on the project and team behind it, some projects will require your kyc before your coin will be distribute to you and some other don't border about kyc and are also doing well in the development. Kyc is just a requirements for some site while others may do without kyc it all depends on the team.

Right now, project that I'm following requires all participants who join to do KYC and I do that. I've the reason why I am doing KYC because I see project I am following now really has a good team and real products. I also will not provide my personal information if the project is unclear

First of all, the KYC check on bounty hunters is illegal. No state requires that the ICO collect confidential information about those who promote the ICO project on the Internet. The KYC check is carried out with the aim of preventing dirty money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism and cannot be carried out for any other purposes, since it violates the right of citizens to the confidentiality of the individual. By requiring us to undergo a KYC check, ICO teams abuse and abuse their rights, taking advantage of the fact that this activity is not yet regulated.

I think some of them truly need the kyc because they want to prevent cheaters but some of them are shady, I never join any project that require kyc, I think my identity is very valuable and if somebody misused it then it can cause a very big problem, we already see so many identity theft that happen on Internet, crypto suppose to be anonymous even the coin developer never show us the legal documents so I don't think we need to submit the kyc

I don't think of everything like that, all back to the project itself.
Warning. before give a personal identity to another party, think first. I see many people give their identity easy, only because for ($5/$10)
Yeah there is even so much legit from them, I thought he's just like being in the wrong place where unlucky in choosing bounty, me personally frequently get paid when participating in bounty program that require KYC for hunters, with the reason that the reward received is worth it, if it's only $5- $10 I just leave it.

For KYC, it should be avoided unless you can determine the project is a potential project if there is no potential or better clarity, select the project that holds a bounty campaign but does not require KYC
