To be successful in cryptocurrency market it is necessary to study and constanly monitor the market to find new prospective projects that will be useful in the future and new platforms like this https://my.ebinity.com/en/register

Now cryptocurrency market continue to rise but it is hard to say how long the rise of the market will continue.
The rise of the marekt attracts a lot of people and now many people are hoping that the rise will continue.

It is hard to say how long will be the rise of the market. May be it just was a correction and the rise will stop.
The economic situation in the world does not change.

Well familiar with Avalanche and Mina, you should do your final analysis and decide on it. Whatever people say here is not what should be your final decision, you can only use it as a guide. And also don't invest in too many coins, remember to invest only what you can afford to lose.

Carry out your personal research or analysis will really help you to know when to invest right now, and where not to invest your money right now for you not to experience losses from your investment. I will advise you to choose Dogcoin for your investment in this bearish season, because Dogcoin is among the stable coins that can bring something good in the future. I think, Bitcoin and Dogcoin is good for you to invest in this season before you can include Ethereum in next year 2023, because Ethereum gas fee is too high in this season for investors to make a good profits from their investment.

Dogcoin? You are talking about the dogecoin meme. There is no guarantee that dogecoin's future will be bright, it is a meme coin not a stable coin.

In order to make sure that our investments are safe, we should put the majority of our money into bitcoin and ethereum. As for the remainder, we will be able to invest in any other coin as long as you do in-depth analysis and only invest when you are willing to lose.

It's their decision, and if they want to experience it, we should let them experience it. the coins OP mentioned are also potential altcoins and worth the investment. As long as the OP doesn't put all his eggs in one basket, knows how to divide his portfolio properly, he can still make a significant profit with the altcoin above.
but at least we as seniors here explain to beginners how big the risk is when investing in new altcoins and we can also give advice to the OP if you want to get the best and stable investment in bitcoin or ethereum.
even if he doesn't put all his money in the new altcoin project but if the project crashes and collapses, he will still lose some of his money.
maybe when he loses his money because of investing in a new project, it can be an experience for him not to repeat investing in new altcoins. but at least we can save newbies from losing more money and give advice for investing in bitcoin or ethereum
You aren't going to get rich investing in Bitcoin now though unless it goes to 1 million dollars. It's much easier to get a 100x investing in promising microcap alts like Lamina1 and CNDL, and that is why people do it.

How can a newbie invest in good altcoins? I know about BTC and ETH but I think I can make more money from altcoins instead of BTC and ETH, I did my research and I have a few projects in mind but I don't know if they are worthy..

Avalanche, Mina protocol, Phala network and Aleph Zero to name a few

Providing that you have done your research and have not listened to anyone's temptation, there is nothing wrong with you. I just want to remind you that investing in altcoins is not a bad thing, but high returns come with high risks. Nothing is absolutely safe in the market, especially with altcoins. Investing is a risky business, so always consider before investing, be ready to take risks with your decisions.

How can a newbie invest in good altcoins?
Invest in reputable altcoins which have passed through the test of time. You already know ethereum is one of them, but you still don't want to invest on it, because it seems unprofitable due to being an expensive cryptocurrency. Since that is your point of view, you aren't looking for good altcoins to invest, rather you are looking for risky ones which promise huge returns.

Therefore, nobody can say if you are doing the right thing then. Only time will be able to answer your question, and for you there is no option besides taking the risks or going for the safe route which seems uninteresting for you at the present moment (bitcoin and ethereum).

Investing in crypto is risky especially if you're going to invest in new coins. Chances to earn huge is high but its hard to find new coins that likely to be a big thing in the future. Thats why some investors prefer the old coins because they are already existing for years and manage to survived the bearish season.

Now cryptocurrency market continue to rise but it is hard to say how long the rise of the market will continue.
The rise of the marekt attracts a lot of people and now many people are hoping that the rise will continue.
We cant expect the market to move in just one direction. There's a recovery in the past few days but currently the market is turning downward again. Just shows bearish season is not over yet.

Reason why most of you guys think this way is because you guys believe that Bitcoin is already too expensive a d can't give you the desired profits, but you failed to understand the fact that altcoin can go whatever ways so even if you have a pre conception of making xx profits with altcoin, also have it at the back of your mind that all your investment can still go down to zero with altcoin.
This is why I generally avoid many altcoins, not all but many. I have been dealing with losses back in 2017 when ICOs were now starting to disappear one by one and just ended up being a no-go for me.
If I would invest in any altcoin in the future, I would just go for ETH just like what I did back then.
It just ain't worth risking even small amounts to it even if it was okay to lose that amount.

There's no harm in trying unless you're ready to lose. If you think they will satisfy your personal interest, then do what you think is right. After all, your money, your own will to decide. But always know that new projects these days bring a lot of risks. If you can stay away from them, much better. But if you want to try and take the risk, then always take cautions on the coins you want to invest. Search for red flags that will help you determine if they good to invest or not.

To determine the object of investment, need to know the size of your budget that you are ready to allocate for the purchase of cryptocurrencies. If your budget is $100-200, then the best choice is to buy new coins. But in this case, you need to remember that such a purchase is associated with a high risk of losing your money.
I would say on contrary. If you have only 100-200 then it would be wiser to keep your money in the trusted stuff and just try to buy more and more, that way you could increase it a bit better without much trouble, why risk it when you have so little already? You can't afford to be a risky investor with that kind of money.

On the other hand, if we are talking about someone with tens of thousands of dollars, then it would make sense to invest into it like you wouldn't mind, like putting 200 bucks into some risky stuff because you have 20k+ more dollars and losing 200 wouldn't hurt. That makes a lot more sense doesn't it? People who can afford to lose, end up losing?

As long as you have done your due diligence then you can invest in those coins if you want, just remember that the altcoin market is way more unstable than bitcoin...

It would be wrong to generalize all altcoins, since we know that there are top altcoins such as ETH, BNB and others. It is these top altcoins that have lost about as much in price in the bear market as bitcoin. And the rest of the altcoins have really lost up to 95% of their value and they have a great potential to recover in the event of a bullish cycle.

I think you better have some bitcoin in your portfolio, I agree with you that altcoins are more profitable than bitcoin but the higher the return, the higher the risk so you should not invest all your money in altcoins.
More precisely half of the capital is invested in BTC for long term portfolio, I have bad experience have invested all capital in altcoins (besides top altcoins) for the purpose of double profit but everything was not as expected and even suffered high losses. Now my investment focus is only on BTC, ETH and BNB.
I also have similar thoughts, I don’t see why anyone would want to start investing money in cryptocurrency and will decide to go with the altcoins first. It is never possible because a good number of the altcoins are purely dependent on the performance of bitcoin, so if bitcoin is doing badly and you decide to start up with the altcoins, you are going into a huge loss because they do not waste time to dissolve after suffering some harshness from the bear market.

before investing don't think about big profits but try to analyze the new altcoin project that you will invest in.
indeed invest in altcoins or new projects that if the profits will be much more than BTC or ETH. but you also have to know the big risks that you will experience when investing in new projects.
as was the case in 2018 a lot of new altcoin projects appeared and just left investors and took the money away. and if for investment in altcoins now is not the right time after some other coins are down more than 50%. but i can't prevent you from investing in new altcoins right now, because all at your own risk. my advice for you if you want to invest in altcoins do the right analysis on the project.

but for me a stable investment for now is BTC

It’s good to actually invest in promising altcoins but the problem is we can’t predict exactly if those coins are going to work and become highly valuable in time. There are some altcoins that are only good in the beginning but they suddenly lose their value because of lack of utility cases, and that the community find it useless anymore to invest. But if you want to try your luck, you can start investing while prices are cheap. If you lose, at least you learned something. In the end, you will realize that only bitcoin and ethereum give secure profits and are most likely to be stable even if the market price suddenly crash.

Sometimes, research is not enough to build your trust and finally invest into some coins. Always consider the feedbacks of the people in the forum particularly for those who have stayed here for long and now become legends because they have better ideas and insights coming from their experiences than those newbies. However, your last and final decision will still rely on you so always weigh things right.

Well, there's no wrong if you do your own research and invest, but always take caution when investing and always consider minimal amount when investing so that if you lose, you will not regret that much.
