How can a newbie invest in good altcoins? I know about BTC and ETH but I think I can make more money from altcoins instead of BTC and ETH, I did my research and I have a few projects in mind but I don't know if they are worthy..

Avalanche, Mina protocol, Phala network and Aleph Zero to name a few
Maybe Avax is a good coin among them but never had an interest in this project as well. For me, I'd rather stay with BTC and ETH - let's say it wasn't really profitable this time but what I'd just look at is the future of my investment and it was to say that they are meant for the long term.

And I tell you that it was too risky putting our money into new projects. I believe you've done the research but it guess what, you have been fooled by the review of these projects that makes you think about the unrealistic results of investing in them.

You are correct in thinking that small cap altcoins can bring in much more profit than well-known cryptocurrencies that have already had several pumps and dumps.
But you need to choose those projects that will be used in the future. In my investment portfolio, about 50% are coins such as bitcoin, ethereum, atom. They are less likely to scam.

In general i would say that a bear market like the one that we are in now is a very good opportunity to buy coins and tokens of projects that are already big and established. At the moment you can buy BTC for around 20k USD per coin, a few months ago it was at 60k and you can buy ETH for around 1200 $ now which was at more than 4k a while ago. This is also true for the first few projects that you have named i think all of those are pretty good buys at the moment. Of course a week or two ago they were even lower about 20 or 30% but if you are planning to hold the coins long term and you are convinced that the crypto market continues to grow, then i think you can not make anything wrong at the moment.

Altcoin is much profitable then bitcoin and otherwise popular coin like this. You can get huge profit in short time from Altcoin. If you invest your money on Bitcointalk and hold it some years. Then you can get 2-3x profit. But if you invest in a good altcoin then you can get 5-20x or more. But Altcoin investment have also risk.

As a newbie, you should not be attracted to altcoins with their returns without thinking about the risk. The altcoins you mentioned are potential altcoins but did you see the fall of luna, Luna was 1 in the top 10 CMC and it collapsed within a few days.

You can  invest in these altcoins but you should be ready to think about the risk it can bring you instead of the profit. To choose the best coins, you should do all the relevant research on that project.

You can probably make more with altcoins if you were shorting good projects (or even hype ones even). Just that it's a matter of timing so it's very reliant on luck, unlike hodling Bitcoin in the long term which hasn't really failed most investors so far. Well, as they say, high-risk high reward after all. I wouldn't really consider it a mistake but I would recommend studying up more on markets and the projects you're planning to invest in before doing anything. Learn also how to set up stop losses and the like that you need just in case the market goes negative.

It is a mistake that is made by all newbies to the market, who always look for risk instead of safety when entering the market. But one day, newbies losing all their money invested in risky projects they initially chose, they will start to realize that only bitcoin is the only coin worth investing in. I have no advice for you as you are newbies and have rejected bitcoin and ethereum two of the safest and most profitable coins on the market.

It is true that. Altcoins investment is much profitable then Bitcoin & Ethereum. But Investing in Altcoin is a high risk. It is able to give you a lot of profit in such a short time. In the same way, it is able to biggest loser in a short time. So before investing in Altcoin, do a good research on it. Don't buy panicly.

there is money to be made in altcoins, you just have to pick the right ones. try looking into the pages of the coins on top list of coinmarketcap.
among you list, its only avalanche that got a good chance. its one of the popular which you can't go wrong if you go with it. still the most recommended of all is just to stick with BTC. its been emphasized a lot.

among the top altcoins actually, i would rather be with doge. a first choice.

There is no right or wrong investment in crypto, it's that the risk is very high in specially in altcoin. Who would have thought that a solid coin like Luna will crash? reaches all time high then, break in the top 10, then suddenly the price literally went to 0?

So you can do all the investigations on your end and find what suits you, but still at the end of the day, it is not a perfect world, we don't know what the future holds. Perhaps Avalanche, Mina protocol, Phala network and Aleph Zero will go on a bull run and succeed or it will fail miserably.

Their are lot of good altcoin in the market.Which includes the Matic,Ripple, tron,ADA.Now most of the coin price was very low compared to the old price. So you had a try to inverse your money in this coin.Because this coin was good with my knowledge.I am not forcing to inverse your money into this coin, because I am not the promoter of this coin.Just sharing my opinion over the trusted coin.ADA will gives you four times of invested money, you can hold some huge ADA for the long run profit from it.

You have to be a risk-taker to invest in new coins or coins, yes there are good profits and higher profits to be made in new coins or projects but you have to understand the risk and you should do diligent research and follow the update of its development, the market is very saturated there are coins many thought to be good coins but ended up wasted, you have to always check the motivation of the developers, some developers delay or abandon the project because they already made a profit from dumping their project, it happens on the many projects I've invested in.

Well you do the right thing, you did your research and come up with that particular coins. I would say that the are good, not solid.

I will not recommend anything, just continue what you are doing and DYOR (Do Your Own Research). But just remember though that it's going to be a hit or miss, maybe you will find coins that will make you money, maybe not. At least if will be a good learning experience for you, good luck.

The right thing is to have more in bitcoin and eth.

No one will stop you from investing in those mentioned altcoins you think are good. As someone who has experienced bulls, bears, and regrets.

It's regretting that I didn't stack as much eth and bitcoin as I can. They really are the kings of this market and it could be more profitable for you to have other alts but, it's hard to get on them and predict.

Op, if you want to take a high risk of investment then you can invest with altcoins but remember nowadays only few project in altcoins are trusted and not scamm you must do some research first and gathered more information about that specific project which is it takes more time. But if you invested with a trusted and good project then it will gave you a lot of profit for a short time. So the decision is all yours take a breath and then decide are you going to invest in altcoins or in btc and ETH.

First, are you looking for short-erm gains or long-term ones? BTC and ETH are usually the go for when it comes to these long-term investment.
Avalanche since kind of being mentioned quite a lot in here, but I suggest doing a further research with it.
If you are not really into rush, just go BTC and call it a day.

You should also consider that investing in altcoins and new projects are packaged with high risk.  I agree they have the potential to have a greater profit than Bitcoin and ETH at least these two had already proven themselves to survive different kinds of FUD and market crashes.  No matter how we calculate things, the profit/risk ratio is always better in Bitcoin and ETH.

But since you did your research as you stated, then why not follow what you had found out.  It is your investment anyway, win or loss you are the only one responsible for your action.

You can do the right thing by continuing your best effort to analyze and look for a good project using your own strategy. Its hard for a newbie to depend to anyone, I’d suggest to learn every process. Altcoins can be profitable if you know how to handle risk especially with the small tokens. Just look for the good project, and alway setup your selling and the cut loss price, this can be a big help to you.

When it comes to investing, you need to determine a nitch where you will pitch your investment tent. Would you be interested in a network coin? a nft or p2e coin etc? These are questions that needs answers from you before you attempt investing. Also, do you have a proper research and trade techniques to win the trades (your investment)?
