Smell the glove.
Well Alpinist has been around since April of 2013... 22 months before amber coin started and 18 months before dev registered. So there's that wrinkle in these theories. Plus between you, me, and him... he's the only one who had visited a amber trade office and posted pics. His credibility is a tad above your opinion. Tangibility and whatnot. Maybe he is dev *new crazy theory* lol. I'm gonna enjoy 1¢ shares from someone, I can feel it.

Has anyone stopped to consider the POSSIBILITY that Alpinist IS AmberCoinDev or at the very least some sort of paid shill? I find it funny how they BOTH incorrectly use the words "a" and "an" in EXACTLY the same context so unless they went to the exact same sub-par English course I find it hard to dismiss that fact. Also is there anyone else that could go to one of the offices and make sure this is legit? Always better to have multiple verified sources of confirmation then just ONE.

I thought this today as well and tried doing some block chain analysis on Alpinist's Posts.  Back in AUg 2014 he posted

Obviously I considered it... while super stoned  Cool Feel free to call amber trade tomorrow, their numbers are listed. Call the office/building management to confirm their existence, I have for London. I can't confirm they are 100% legit, but they exist for sure. Q4 payment should be soon, the big Baltic amber show is in March/April. Wait and see is a crappy position to be in, but it's where we are. I'm a top 10-15 wallet, no attempts were made to sway my vote in any fashion.

I truly wish btc won so the ugliness would end, but yeah that did not pan out. I will be putting up a painfully low 1 btc buy wall up tomorrow or Wednesday. Like 2000-2500 satoshi low, suicide on it if you must... but I'll take my chances with the company.

Yup, I did the same thing earlier c-cex. I'll pay $0.01 per share up to 9980 AMBER.
I'll bet you anything it gets filled after Q4 dividends are delayed - which will take another month I bet.

Then he didn't post nearly anything until February in Ambercoin.  Then from the first post AmberDev seems to always quote him.  If AmberDev doesn't quote him, he quotes AmberDev and is always Defending him.

On Dec 23rd 2014 the first block of Ambercoin was mined.

On February 7th @ 1am Alpinist says he sees in a trollbox on an exchange that someone is going to check out their office next week, then later that day around 10:50am He posts this

"
Visit is good but proove nothing in fact.
Usually if business partners have any doubts if the company legit they ask a CERTIFICATE OF GOOD STANDING.
If we have this certificate that means that company is 100% legit.
But it takes 2-3 weeks and  ~600$ for company to recieve it in UK.
If something is unclear they will never recieve it.
We always check our partners in such way if have any doubts."

On February 12th & 13th he voted on Cryptsy for Ambercoin

On February 17th Alpinist says: "Hi,

I have 50,000 AMBER. What should I do to get registered as a shareholder?
And what benefits will I have then?"

But it's not until February 20th Alpinist Shareholder #14 receives 10,000 Amber from AcREEkBNydLnjL9m3K88jygD6oUE98ow2n

Then on March 7th Alpinist actually went and saw the office in Lithuania.

This is what I found just recently.  I then went through AmbercoinDev's posts and fround that they were at the Ambertrade expo
http://amber-trade.com/2015/03/31/jewellery-show-summary/

Amber Trip is it's actually called they have a youtube video for the event even.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lovtAINAYfw

So I found the Owner/Host of this event Giedrius Guntorius.  Emailed him and asked if AmberTrade LTD was going to have a booth at this years event.

Hi I was wondering if you could supply me with a list for the exhibitors for the conference coming up in March of 2016.  I am curious to know if Amber Trade LTD is coming back this year?

Sincerely,

Jeremiah

So take this info how you will.  I have sold all my coins except 10,000 because they have not paid yet for a booth at the Ambertrip expo coming in March less than 2 months away.  Plus I think Alpinist is the DEV the person who may be scamming us but not positive.

That's a pretty weighty accusation - I don' think that's the case.
It actually makes sense for larger investors to get their dividends in AMBER.
I can't blame any investor in doing what's best for them.

That said, it's AmberTrade that's the problem here - or so says AmberDev.

It's also a bit suspect that some large investors were given the oppotunity to get their dividends in AMBER last week, before the voting.

Regardless, Q3 dividends are settled for MUCH less than stated at the end of Q3 - that's bad for everyone.

Has anyone been able to get AmberTrade to payout AMBER purchased directly from them at the higher "guaranteed" rate?
If so, please consider letting the rest of us know. That will build confidence, methinks.

Hello AmberDEV,

I see that my vote did not register,  here is my transaction ID:https://www.blockexperts.com/amber/tx/ed4fa2edcc2197b875274e30736ae381ca45e9a94706c60e2067fe2fafd72c0b

It shows what address it was sent to and which address it came from which corresponds to ID 115 on the investors list. I've also sent you an email, and heard no response. Not that my amount would sway the vote either way. There is a flaw in this voting system.

Your address is not the same...

AcMuuWiw9H1qxwwxXQ4LaH2NdN1sUHJGeP is not registered..

AeTrbZeFF1zp58tWbZqeYRWDAmM2cenWyw does..

So there's no flaws for the moment

If I have altered the "Change Custom address field" to my registered address, and sent my vote and it didn't count, then there is a flaw with the voting system; Unless I suppose to do something else. I'm just looking for answers, and looking to see why the Dev is not addressing these questions.

Activate the Expert Mode and check in «Send Coins» then «Inputs» and check if you have any other address under your main address section. If yes, maybe that the coin were not sent from the good place, that's all Wink

I did a quick brief on voting race/status:

4 big shareholders still need to vote.
Amber camp is leading at the moment.
If one of two biggest vote for amber, amber wins.
For btc camp to win, 3 shareholders must vote for btc.

Still good buy support on ccex.

EDIT:
new results just arrived...
3rd biggest just voted for amber.

Now at this situation all remaining three MUST vote for btc to secure victory for btc camp.

EDIT2:
4th biggest just voted for amber.

It seems that amber camp is victorious, but keep in mind that my quick math could be wrong.
Let's wait for official results.

Buy support isn't NEARLY deep enough to cover AMBER sales at $0.05 each.
This will be a blood-bath, or nothing will happen at all.

It would fuck me over as well, but quite honestly I'm hoping its a blood bath for the simple fact that it would hurt all those fucktard whales that voted for AMBER dividends worse then us "little guys" I don't care if I go down just as long as I take those assclowns with me.

Ne one thinking seriously would vote for AMBER. Those are probably fake votes, since you could get much cheaper coins on the exchange. And what we saw in the last month completely destroyed the trust in this company. I do not think so much new investors will jump on bod. Also the whole story with buy and sell walls wouldn't last very long. Let's see what will happen after the people get the worthless coins.....going down to few satoshi and a lot of bag holders....(the buy support to 1sat is just a more than 1btc!!!)
Btw, I also find the ignorance of the dev quite annoying. He is answering just the questions he likes to do so and ignores anything else. Many people asked about the option to sell the dividends back to to the company, but the dev stays quiet while he is online.....I think we can stop asking...anyone knows the answer.

Don't panic, there is something called investment protection - company promised to buy back coins that are taken directly from it, at the same price it was bought.

WOW, where do you see that?
I see where someone asks for it, but I don't see AmberDev agreeing.

here:
http://amber-trade.com/ambercoin/

I can't imagine you will get any BTC from the company. As you can see they didn't want to pay the dividends and made those foolish voting, but you are expecting they would buy your shares back. No way in may opinion (I wish I would be wrong).

Well if buy wall at 3K sato holds then we will be quite ok, it seems.

On c-cex? I don't see any "buy-wall" that will give me $120 (my Q3 dividend) for 2400 AMBER ($0.05 per AMBER).
AFAIK, no such buy-wall exists.

The only option is to ask AmberTrade to buy my AMBER at $0.05 ea - which I don't see proof of.

We thank all the shareholders who have found an opportunity to vote.

The company's mission was to organize the voting process as transparent as possible.

The announcement of final result will be done tomorrow after a double checking.

P.S. If someone finds a discrepancy between blockchain and Google table then please point out an error.

I doubt that company will handle dividends from company in another way than boughts from company. Dividends are a form of payment.
