This relentless campaign has gone on for days.

We get it, you don't like AMC's model. Here's an idea, DON'T INVEST.

I'm growing tired of these claims of 'protecting consumers'. You clearly have a motive. Chasing undervalued shares? Or perhaps you're heavily invested elsewhere and feel threatened?

Ken has made a few mistakes by his own admission. However, you could pick just as many holes in the other securities. To date he has produced results (6x Avalons mining as promised) and my investment at 0.0005 has doubled.

Give it a rest. Turn off you computer, go outside and relax. The bitterness in some of you is unhealthy.

I predict you will be holding losses by the middle of July

A doubling is a pretty great position to be in.  I'd get my original capital out at least.

Yes, I have invested in Bitcoin and feel threatened with almost countless shady and scammy deals which work against Bitcoin as a whole.

Are you in or out of my request that you help write a 250K AMC call option?

It's put up or shut up time. I'm offering to buy a call option from Swede and Megamouth for 250k AMC shares.

Two things have grown since I invested in AMC - my shares value, and my ignore list.

Yeah,
Like I would make any kind of deal with anyone that blindly believes in AMC.. Hah, you make me smile kid..
Actually, hang on. I might pick up 10k or so of AMC just to offer call options to you if you want them.. How many call options do you want to buy?

10k? Well, the second thing we have discovered this evening is you have no lack of ambition. Make it 250K and we will negotiate.

Hmm, wait, AMC / VMC is actualy family-run business, with scammy magician added for the LULZ?

*** Business Experience:

Slaughter Vending and Amusement, Pegasus Business Systems, Advanced Learning Systems, Advanced Software Solutions, Active Internet
Communications - ISP Business axs(tm).net which produced over 2.5 Million in revenue and over 10,000 customers in 49 states, Canada, and
Puerto Rico with over 10 employees. Turn-key Web Hosting Business running on Amazon.com, Bitcoin mining since 2009.

Does not hold with this added:

*** ASIC Development:

AMC has Synthesized it's Bitcoin Mining source code to create RTL for the xc6xlt150 FPGA. This code is in the process of being ported to a
Major Semiconductor Company's ASIC chip.

I missed that before.  So his accomplishment is getting a spartan 6 FPGA to hash?

The same spartan-6 that ngzhang had hashing 2 years ago?  Or Makomk published open source code to hash with 1 year ago?

https://github.com/fpgaminer/Open-Source-FPGA-Bitcoin-Miner

Hmm, CTRL-C, CTRL-V

That was quite a technical accomplishment.

Don't worry,
Of course they needed capital to buy 4 Avalons, after all. It's not like they should have had any BTC To use for the purchase if "The team has been involved with Bitcoins since 2009" . . . (Is Ken Satoshi?)

Swede, time to put up or shut up. I'm eager to buy call options on AMC from you. Quote your terms, let's agree you will back your BS with hard cash. If this offer makes you weak at the knees, tap Megamouth for some coins - he claims to be a man of means, or maybe he means his Dad is, didn't quite get all the details.

Yeah,
Like I would make any kind of deal with anyone that blindly believes in AMC.. Hah, you make me smile kid..

Eh, so you admit you know nothing about trading, for starters. Options are neutral, your counterparty's naivete or otherwise in any security is irrelevant to the offer you make them and the terms you agree on. So, what you have admitted is you are a one trick pony in this thread - you criticise AMC and spout BS yet you will not back up your position? You have zero credibility on this thread, Swede. Seems to me your strategy lately, as with MM, is to abandon any pretence at reasoned argument and simply spam-type us. Whatever occupies your evenings, I guess.

Speaking of the corporate structure, this is an excerpt from VMC's website "Active Mining Cooperative (AMC) is the answer to your problem. AMC is a business unit of Virtual Mining Corporation (VMC)"

Wtf? Haven't they been selling AMC as a stand alone company? We really need this cleared up before something really bad happens.
AMC is unambiguously described as a wholly-owned subsidiary of VMC on both Bitfunder and BTCT.

Furthermore, the "shares" offered on Bitfunder are not ownership stakes in AMC.

From the "Private Placement Memorandum" on Bitfunder (https://bitfunder.com/asset/AMC#pane_profile, which is only presented as a jpg, so I have to retype the content):

PPM, page 2: "AMC is a business unit of VMC"
PPM, page 6: "Shares of AMC on Bitfunder do not represent real world shares of the company.  The shares are solely a distribution mechanism for rights to profits."

From the "Details" tab on BTCT for the passthrough shares:

Quote
Active Mining Corporation (AMC) is a Belize International Business Company DBA Active Mining Cooperative and
is a wholly owned subsidiary of Virtual Mining Corporation (VMC) a Delaware Corporation.

An alleged scammer in the management team.
You'll have to be more specific.
What? Have you read the post by s_stylez?
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.2614608

And you can find the name of Darin Carolus on the detail page of AMC-PT on btct.co
It was my sad attempt at humor.

Darin isn't the first on the management team to be accused of scamming.

Got it Grin
Who else was accused of scamming? Ken Slaughter?

Anyone who doesn't see the light still I feel sorry, Get out of AMC now while you can or say bye bye to your BTC

Bitfunder down, from huge sell off.. I saw 0.0007 for a second.. weird

Personally I would say everyone doesn't need to get out. We need to give AMC a chance to survive incase it is a genuine outfit - which it could be. Ken has promised some movement over the next few days. The smart thing to do it cover your outlay by selling a portion of your investment. Don't leave yourself massively exposed, sell a portion to get some capital back and hold the rest. This has always been a gamble so risk only what you can afford to loose.
