Why then sell more shares if that's not necessary? Or why not sell the same amount of shares but at a lower price?
It's a honest question.
The more are sold, the faster AMC gets everything rolling, instead of waiting for dividends. True, AMC could stop selling, and just pay the NRE in fractions (which is probably going to happen anyway).
Selling shares at a lower price would be very bad for investors that bought at .0025 already. That price can be justified (yes, I know, not everyone agrees!!!) as they are now getting into AMC at a much less riskier price point.
Remember that it was thanks to
initial investors that AMC has all the above hardware coming. If not for them, we would be in doubt right now if there would be enough $ to pay the NRE.
Thanks to them, there isn't.
