BTW.... it's so quiet re friedcat's whereabouts. I think one would expect the family freaking out and some police searches, investigation, cross examination of his business partners etc.

He's very good and puts it exactly as it is.

I can't tell if that's sarcasm, or if you are actually supporting these idiots attempts at taking action against AM.

So just let them rip people off and walk away? They should bring legal action and not just roll over after getting scammed. I am glad when these ASIC companies rob people they get taken to court. Maybe after a few more get dragged into litigation they will stop screwing people. So far FailFast and BFL been taken to court..AM next it seems.

BFL principles were taken to court by the FTC based on consumer complaints.  Does China have an FTC equivalent and would they listen to foreign consumers wrt AMHash?

China does indeed have something similar with the same acronym even. FTC in China -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_Trade_Commission_%28Republic_of_China%29

I think this is in Taiwan...

A Wound in Eternity
I may be late to this but AMHash is broken, right? I have not had any payouts for ages and they are not answering the support tickets? I can see my balance increasing, they just don't pay out???

I am absolutely in support of those attempts. Idiots are those who do nothing.

How do I get my balance from amhash.com ? Will it be transferred automatically to havelock or do I have to do something ?  Huh

Hi, you need to set up a Havelock account using the same email address as your AMhash account.

Then log into your AMHash and select "Transfer" page

Change transfer name to "Havelock".

Then type in the amount of GHs to moved - whatever you have.

Put in a short message saying that you want to take compensation deal.

Click "I understand and agree to the sway".

Whenever the move completes (usually done in 1-3 days), go log into your Havelock account and next to the "buy or sell" option will be "xfr", click it and fill in the request form to change it into AMhashLC.

Then, it a case of waiting until the end of April and beginning of May get the compensation refund.

Done everything but forgot to type in any message in "content" oopss

Dont think will be a problem

Anyone has done it successfully?

I did last friday and the transfer change the status to "Completed" today in the morning but still i dont have nothing in Havelock... want to wait 2 or 3 days to see if they arrive or not... maybe is a manual operation what they are doing and it could take some time

Just some information for anyone planning to deal with Chinese Officials:
They're annoying as fuck. If you have any contacts within China, you can try, but you probably won't get anything out of it. This is because 2 things are needed for anything to be done in china:
Relations and Money.

Relations imply that you know some well-connected people, and you can ask for favours.
Money implies that you bribe officials to get things done quickly and properly.

If you have neither of those, you will have a hard time.

So basically like  America?
