Good for GTX 1080 and 1080ti owners but bad for other GPU owners as total hashrate of ETHhash is going to increase Wink

I don't think a lot of 1080ti owners will mine ETH, even with this increase

anybody tested on 1080?

I can't get it working with my 1080s.  Tried both ethminer and Phoenix, both give Cuda errors and crash

Have you read the manual? Smiley

https://github.com/OhGodACompany/OhGodAnETHlargementPill/blob/master/prescription.txt

About half the 1080 has a different memory rev and cannot take the optimal timings, they need a middleground.

Yes, the manual isn't very clear though.  My 1080s are in slots 0 and 1, so I ran it with the flag --revA 0,1    Is this correct?

Could you explain how to apply this flag? I'm a moron!

The manual is pretty clear to me, at least:

Windows: OhGodAnETHlargementPill.exe --revA 0,3,4
Powershell: .\OhGodAnETHlargementPill.exe --revA 0,3,4
Linux: ./OhGodAnETHlargementPill --revA 0,3,4

So in windows, you can use a batch file (.bat) to call this, exactly the way just about every mining software (can) operate. It would work in a shortcut (.ink) too, in the target field you can add a param as long as there is no spaces in the path.

Guys do you know why my reported hashrate at the pool is about the HALF of my actual hashrate?

Hashrate at the pool: 44 mh/s ----> https://prnt.sc/ja3txk
My actual hashrate: 87/Mh/s ----> http://prntscr.com/ja3utj

Reported hashrate became higher, but according to statistics the hares was as it was.
https://ethermine.org/miners/4ddca273ae086a88f32bebf3ed8ba22f59e2c0b5/dashboard

both you guys need to wait more than 2 hours. christ.

run it for 24hrs +

this work s. my poolside hashrate lines up with my miner output.
unless eth goes back up to around 1000 its beter to mine lux even with this enlargement

55.2 MH/s Zotac 1080Ti mini 67 PL - +140 core - +770 Mem

I can't squeeze more. If I increase mem it reduce the hahsrate. I tried also increasing voltage and PL but nothing. Can't go more than that!!!!

why even OC the core? ETH doesnt care about that. drop it to -300 or -400 and you'll likely see no drop in hashrate and reduced power use.

Perhaps this program can run in the background of Nemos or Nicehash. Fire up ETHlargement do a rebenchmark and let it go.

I don’t see why not. It doesn’t have anything to do with the miner.

Look, I'm really not that interesting. Promise.
Good for GTX 1080 and 1080ti owners but bad for other GPU owners as total hashrate of ETHhash is going to increase Wink
now there will be fewer utterances of type 1070 than the most universal card from green, but the red ones will go to the secondary market even more, but the new series from Nvidia will, from the insides, be with GDDR6 - the development of this miner will cease Undecided

Good thing it's not a miner.

I have some 1080ti cards and test them on win10.

ASUS  1080ti FE                  ... working
EVGA  1080ti FE                  ... working
GIGABYTE AORUS 1080TI      ... working
GIGABYTE AORUS 1080TI XE  ... working
MSI 1080ti gaming X             ... working

they are working good on ETH. 49~53 Mh/s
but... some 1080ti cards are not.

ASUS 1080ti turbo                    ... not working
ASUS STRIX 1080ti O11G gaming ... not working
they still show 33~35 Mh/s (even with revA )

maybe ... 1080ti cards of ASUS can't be supported Huh

could you help me?

thanks.

I got both ASUS 1080ti turbo and STRIX 1080ti O11G. I do not know for eth, but for cryptoknight both report ~1070-1100 h/s on xmrstak. I didn't change anything, just downloaded the .exe and ran it. Got like 10 types of 1080 ti, all working perfectly thus far Smiley
Thanks devs!

Linux 102 question here...

can't seem to unpack a .dms file?
when i run in root
./OhGodAnETHlargementPill-r2 --revA 6 or
./OhGodAnETHlargementPill-r2.dms --revA 6
its a no go.  i'm certain i'm missing a stupid early step.

card is GPU6 in this specific rig i'm trying to test on.

thanks all.

figured it out.  permissions. thank you.

I think its amd user
As an AMD user I don't mine ETH for a long time )))
+1

My last time mining ETH was 8 months ago ;p

Newbies says it's a miracle. Yeah, 50MH/s+ is a kind of miracle, but we say "miracle" for something scientific that we cannot explain, and a newbie doesn't know nothing about RRD, FAW, 32AW. For then, if they cannot explain, is a miracle.

So, they are acting like they are: newbies.
