Let me tell you my opinion.
When 1337 pos reward was 1337 % the inflation was too big.
But people love inflation. Diminishing the inflation was a good decision.
But now, we will face stagflation . Why I should buy a coin that offer 5% per year when there are a lot of coins that offer 200% per year ?
If the inflation will be under 20%, guess what.... 1337 price will be one dogetoshi.
This is only my personal opinion.  Wink
The best decision is to not get 1337 under 20% per year. Never!

you arent the smartest tool in the shed, are ya?
inflation is what keeps price extremely low.
no matter what good events happen, there are so many coins that the price cannot go up

no inflation -> opportunity for the price to go 10x, 100x and so on

so why should you buy coins that offer 200% per year, when those coins will forever cost CLOSE TO NOTHING
why do you need millions or billions of tokens that cost 1 satoshi?
would you prefer a truck load of monopoly money or a suitcase of real money?

disabling inflation leads to higher prices, you will not have millions upon millions of coins, but you will have actual value, when transfered to fiat money you will buy a house, not a pack of toilet paper

Buying 1337 coin now is not risky. For me this is one of the best time to buy for it is not yet on his peak price. I will still try to accummulate at a lower price to stake my coin. I may suggest you buy now and stake and place a buy on a lower price so that when someone panic and sell his/her 1337 you can still buy at a lower price. Like Vella85 said this is a long term coin so buy while the price is low and enjoy staking. Good luck mate Smiley

So what is going on with the 1337 wallet at cryptopia? Does anyone have any info on this? Seems they sometimes just delist coins with no warning once there is a problem with the wallet they can't fix. I don't want to spread fud, just want to know what the wallet problem is. Can anyone explain?

the wallet problem is very simple, many exchange sites are staking 1337 coins that have been deposit to them, and some of them even dump their stakes. no wonder why at yobit the price went to 1 satoshi. anyway 1 satoshi is great because from here there is only way up. i think that the next pump is coming Smiley

anyway they will fix it eventually.

unfortunately I only managed to snag about 0.15 btc worth at nova a few days ago when it dropped to 1 sat, whole order didn't get filled Sad

not complaining though it was a nice recovery  Cool I guess some people at nova panic sold when they saw the price at yobit?

Nice pick up mate, that's the best way to accumulate more and more 1337 coins when people panic sell. I've lost count on all the times I've picked up thousands of coins from people panic selling and make a load of profit once the coin recovers. 1337 coin is a long term hold for me so I'm not too worried about what happens in the short term and keep accumulating a long the way. But now I must wait until Cryptopia fix the wallet issues as that's where I buy all my 1337 coins from, I can use Nova but prefer Cryptopia.

I can't belive that Yobit mine 1337.
I see it, for example, in DXC (Devilcoin) - Yobit wallet online now. Yobit have all circulation of DXC practically, but no activity in POS mining from them. Maybe other exhanges do it...

looks like finally cryptopia got the same sync issue as many linux users.
so basically this coin is comin to an end

Cryptopia is performing maintenance on a bunch of coins at the moment.
So your comments are premature.

╥Aztek

this one is not a regular maintenance, it's an issue.
and even if they beat it once, good chances they'll run into it again and again,
until fixed by the dev

Coinexchange deposit/withdraw - Ok.
Novaexchange wallet online.
No panic)))
Maybe they wait a little pump or check new issue of linux wallet?)))
And now in stake are 5769M 1337 coins only(less then 1/4 of total issue), 0.14BTC/day !

I'm thinking about splitting my coins up into blocks of 1 million coins as I have seen some people staking a good amount of coins with 1.5 million, like 18k a day where as I'm only staking around 7 to 12k coins per day with 7.4 million but I have them split into 2 large blocks of 3.5 million so I'm thinking about splitting them into 1 million blocks.

Hi vella85.. did you split at blocks of 1 million coins already? If it is nice to have it split in that amount please inform us. I will be splitting in that amount too if it gets a good staking results. I have been splitting my coins at a very large blocks of 10 million too. If the result is much better i will be moving it to blocks of 1 million. Please keep us updated. Thank you so much Smiley

Hi,

Yes I did split them into 1.5 million blocks and have been getting some stakes however I noticed I'm getting a few more "generated but not accepted" so I'm guessing that it might be due to the staking weight not being high enough and others beating me to the block with a higher staking weight. So now I'm going to try 2 million blocks and see how that goes for a few days. I don't mind trying different strategies to see which works best. By the sounds of it you must have a large amount of coins and if so maybe 5 million coin blocks might work good for you.

Thanks for the fast response. I am staking my 22 million coins in my wallet. I dont really have a full knowledge when it comes to staking and I am happy i got someone to ask for. I will try your suggestions of 5 million coin blocks and i will get back to you if it is making a good stake. Happy Staking Smiley

You're welcome mate and I hope you make even more on your stakes. Like I said just try different strategies and see which works best for you because now is the best time while the interest is at 41%. Once it halves again I'm hoping I have a good staking strategy in place so just keep testing different ways to stake with different amounts. Good luck!
