To be honest I think it’s very simple:
1 - Team page having mandatory social links is not something I have ever been aware of. I have worked for Stakenet for 2 years and I’m not even on the team page there as I have no desire to be in the spotlight and would prefer to be anon, which to be fair is one the the hallmarks of crypto. Certain team members don’t mind however and that’s there choice.
Yes team members not having social media links in not mandatory but it helps in the decision making progress when contemplating if the project is bonafide or not. It was not myself or Rikafip that raised that point, it was another forum member.
2 - As already stated that the BTT Ann thread was announced on all Zentoshi social channels as going live so of course community members will come and post to show support. I made 2 posts myself, 1 of which was a genuine question at the time however but still I could have easily asked on Discord I suppose.
Yet you ask the
genuine question here in this forum so you and others could receive the
genuine reply but their team expect others to join the Discord to ask
genuine questions that concern them?
3 - We are talking about T&C’s in the footer of the website, like seriously scraping the barrel with that one. They have said they will resolve it, it’s the weekend not everyone is at work as people will be spending time with their families and loved ones.
The fact that you have trivialised such an essential aspect of the trust building exercise by mentioning '
T&C’s in the footer of the website, like seriously scraping the barrel with that one' in the condescending manner you opted shows attempt at part misdirection and part ignorance on your part. It took around 36 hours from me informing them that the two essential policies links in the footer of their website were being diverted to a boiler plate PDF document.
I completely reject the notion that '
They have said they will resolve it, it’s the weekend not everyone is at work as people will be spending time with their families and loved ones' because that is the last thing any serious project would push out.
The links now point to zentoshi.com rather than
https://www.cips.org/Documents/Resources/Downloadable documents/CoreClausesBoilerPlate.pdf and it took them around 36 hours just to do that.
Frankly I find this entire “witch-hunt” for lack of a better term disgusting. I have only been with the team for 2 weeks but there are people that have been working on Zentoshi for well over a year to get it ready for launch. All funded by their own personal finances, there is no ICO or anything like that with which they have raised funds and you come in here with these accusations making huge posts to discredit everything they have worked on.
There is no witch-hunt but there is a common misconception on part of those promoting this project just like others have promoted other projects in the past and that is they believe they are due some sort of respect or acknowledgement for the
work and efforts they have allegedly put in to their project along with the alleged
financial funds they have spent to get to the stage they are at.
In respect to this project, if things ever take off and this project ever goes live there are funds that are pre-mined. In any case this team has not exactly done this community or the wider crypto-world any favours by intending to release their project so they should not be expecting any congratulations, thanks or acknowledgement.
Sure I guess some mistakes where made with the ANN thread in regards to thread “bumping” rules but that’s like literally it and you are making this molehill into a mountain. They have stated the issues raised will be resolved so no problem.
The bumping or posting by a member that has
some history in this forum is not an issue but when newbies flood any thread it raises questions.
Instead of answering these very important question it raises more questions when the team behind the project decide claim some of their loyal Discord users who are not familiar with this forum decided to visit here to ask questions when users from this forum are being told to join their Discord to ask questions so things can be cleared up in 5 minutes.
It is the lack of transparency that the team are providing that fuels the questions and might give the impression of making mountains out of molehills for those that do not want to clearly and definitively answer questions.
It’s funny but all of this could have easily been resolved in 5 mins just by joining the Discord or something and talking with the team directly but guess it was “quicker” to make a huge post to try and discredit everything as a giant scam I guess.....
There is nothing funny about this situation and why on earth would people from this forum feel the need to join the Discord of a project just to ask questions when it was the project team that decided to use this forum to make announcements about there up and coming project? That is not how things work.
And as for calling it a scam, I explicitly made a post stating I cannot call it a scam and that view remains until I see something that makes me change my mind. What I do see is a
team of dreamers that are way out of their depth and their incompetence will contribute to the failure of any achievable goals they might have.
I find your take on this situation extremely disturbing, you have followed the same defensive attitude that their official user account has used but on your part that is simply because you have a vested interest in this project and you are part of the team.
