the idea of insurance on the block chain is not a new one . but the limitations have pushed all the larger companies into using the blockchain as a means of payment portal situation. simply because of the lack of broadness required in the insurance companies .
the full KYC required in the insurance field is not something to be broadcast for the entire wold to see.

Although I already have invested some money in some similar project without mentioning it's name as that is not reasonable. This one also looks interesting at large but need to dig more to catch up with idea fully. Insurance industry has lot of space of expansion so it can easily get huge share of market. I will keep it watching an dreading more.

We don't see much potential in twitter & facebook as bots these days tend to skew results.
Maybe later we'll announce it, but for now, there are no plans for them.

Yes, currently, we are building it on Ethereum.
It will be phone's battery insurance app. This app for us is just an MVP/demo - to show the concept that it's possible.
It will be available to download for everyone on iOS & Android. And the launch is planned for the next week.

Currently there are quite many projects based on insurance like Insurex. Can you let me know how is your project different?

Insurex is a marketplace for insurance. According to their description on TokenMarket - they should connect insurance institutions - insurers, reinsurers & insurance brokers into one network.
Whereas, Aigang is a protocol on which digital insurance is built upon. It's aimed for IoT devices - like phones, drones & autonomous cars. This protocol should redesign the whole traditional system.

Hey, you meant proof of stake?
Aigang is not a separate blockchain. It will use Ethereum as the base layer, which is currently a proof of work.
