This month we are very happy to announce the appointment of our new CEO Katherine Noall. Katherine stands out as a recognized world-renowned business and thought leader in the digital identity space. Katherine was the Co-Founder and former Chief Executive Officer of ExistenceID - a secure global identity storage and onboarding platform utilizing blockchain and distributed ledger technology.
Under her leadership, ExistenceID was nominated as a finalist for OWI’s Best New Startup of 2017 award. Katherine was also the former Chief Executive Officer of BlockZero – a blockchain consulting company – where she assisted companies and government in understanding blockchain technology and developing business strategy. Katherine is also included in OWI’s Top 100 Leaders in Identity of 2017 and was nominated as a finalist for OWI’s 2017 Rising Innovator Award. Katherine’s deep understanding of IT, and wealth of experience and success in the digital identity start-up space is a huge asset for our project and we are very happy to have her on board moving forward. As you are aware, this month there have been many software updates in the crypto-community. In line with the addition of new leadership, and the addition of atomic swapping and the introduction of the metropolis network update, we also have additional information about developments in the blockchain ecosystem. We can leverage this to enhance our platform. As a result, we are updating the roadmap to account for the new developments and will be releasing it next month.
In addition, we have also secured our position as a sponsor and attendee for One World Identity’s upcoming KNOW 2018 Identity Conference scheduled on March 26th and 28th in Washington D.C. This is a great opportunity to promote Sphre and to network with industry leaders. One World Identity is the “nexus of the digital identity industry” and has been the industry leader in market insights, business research, policy analysis, data analytics & visualization, and event hosting since 2016. The event itself will feature over 1000+ attendees from over 30+ countries and 100+ companies. We are very happy to be on the big stage!
We are also very happy to announce that we are moving to bigger offices on November 1st in the heart of Auckland's business city-center. We are growing our organizational structure as we pick up speed. This office will be able to support the necessary capacity we need to operate now and in the future when the product is released.
