Did you guys get an email from Air asking us to provide the MEW address and email address before tomorrow, otherwise tokens will not be received? A bit confused here as I received my tokens and can see them in my MEW since 8th July? The email states:

FINAL NOTICE TO SEND IN ERC20 ADDRESSES, TOKENS WILL BE BURNT
Hello Sphre Contributor,

Please reply to this email before AUGUST 31ST in order to claim your tokens. Emails received after this date will not be able to receive their tokens. Tokens will be burnt.THIS IS THE FINAL NOTICE:

1. Provide an Ethereum address that supports CUSTOM ERC20 TOKENS(MYETHERWALLET)
2. Provide the email address associated with your Token Investor account
WITHOUT THESE 2 CRITERIA, WE WILL BE UNABLE TO DISTRIBUTE YOUR TOKEN

If you have already replied to this email than please disregard this email  as you are already on the September 7th list.
Thank you for your reply in advance, we look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Team Sphre

Can anyone clarify, please?

Thanks.

GET IN - Smart Ticket Protocol - Live in market!
hi I heard of sphere air (XID) from twiter. The liqui.io chart looks fairly ok. I will be monitoring it to see if I will buy.
buy why is the marketcap and circulating supply showing question mark (??) on coinmarketcap.com ??

and does this coin has the same devs with International Diamond coin (also XID ticker) Huh

Some XID will be burnt on september 1st, then the total is fixed and they will tell CMC the numbers.

International Diamond has nothing to do with Sphere. They used the ticker before.

Edit: Burn will apparently happen on september 7th.

I think their point on exchange listings is not tenable for me, technically all these tokens are pump and dump because the price go up and move down. I'm not happy seen the token trading below the price I paid for it during the ICO

GET IN - Smart Ticket Protocol - Live in market!
The AIR newsletter is out:

http://mailchi.mp/7a3743792561/air-august-2017-newsletter

AIR | AUGUST 2017 NEWSLETTER

Welcome to the AIR Newsletter! It has been an eventful few months since the closing of our crowdsale. We would like to formally thank all of you who contributed during the period. We raised nearly 7 million Dollars (USD)! This newsletter will serve to inform all AIR Crowdsale participants and current XID token holders of our current progress as well as our future plans. The newsletters will be released on a regular monthly basis via email.

TEAM/ORGANIZATIONAL UPDATES

Since the crowdsale, we have been busy relocating our team from around the world to our new offices located in New Zealand. This has been a time-consuming process and has caused a slight delay in the progress of our work. We will have all our team members relocated by mid-September 2017. Instead of having fragmented communication across different time zones, bringing the team together in a central location will make the decision making and development process a lot faster.

We have also acquired new talent with a lot of experience in the blockchain identity space to complement our pre-existing team. This includes the hiring of a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who is expected to join us during September; the CEO will be formally introduced to you in our next newsletter.

We have also commenced our search for additional senior development team members as we look forward to  further enhancing AIR product development. This will also be subject to further announcements as we move forward as well.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT UPDATES

The initial fabric has been laid out, including the algorithm and basic features for the wallet. However, we are currently exploring expansions to the core technology stack for the underlying platform for which our products will be built on. This will allow us to have even greater flexibility for application integrations. Our partners will be able to build modular applications on top of our fabric, in addition to the AIR, EON, and CTRL applications that will be built. We have had two meetings in London so far with our development partners and will be having more meetings in September to discuss and finalize our approach.

We are also progressing in discussions with the potential partnering of a firm which possesses some great technology that will complement what we are doing here very nicely from a technical perspective. When the core stack has been completed, we will be moving on to our next phase of piloting the product with our business partners.

In order to protect our competitive advantage, announcements will be released later on in the year with respect to the names of our partners and our pilot projects. We are currently exploring a new innovative way to apply our identity application to other technologies. This will open up an entirely new stream of revenue for our company with applications that have a global market outreach. We want to safeguard this opportunity we have discovered until we are far enough along that competition would not be a threat. Our roadmap will be reassessed to include these additional requirements, and extended for the design and implementation plan. Full details will be made available to our stakeholders in a future announcement.

Finally, we have enlisted the services of a digital marketing agency that will be redesigning our website for us. The website will have a sharp appearance and will include all the information previously available on our old site. The site will be fully redesigned from frontend to backend; will include visual designs for partner logos and descriptions; and a dedicated news/media page that staff will be able to upload to directly. Further updates will come when we are closer to launching the site later next month.

OTHER COMMUNITY CONCERNS

1.      Exchanges: We have decided to delay exchange talks and focus on the development for the first few months. We are running a company, not a pump and dump campaign. If that’s what you were looking for, then you have come to the wrong project. We are playing the long-term, not the short-term game. A business is not built in a few months. A full-scale marketing strategy is planned out with proper content scheduling, and that will be released when the time is right. We are aware of the low-volume so in order to address that concern, we are reviewing processes to assist the liquidity on the exchanges, and further updates in this regard will be communicated in due course. Please contact one of the team members at [email protected] if you wish to have your XID purchased.

2.      Slack: We have been having problems with ghost accounts in our slack channels that we are not able to ban. We have also had more problems with the Slackbot being hacked. In order to solve this problem we are looking into moving our Slack communications to another service (potentially Discord). We will make a formal update across all our channels when the switch is being made.

3.      Updates: Obviously it’s been a little quiet across the channels, We hope that you can understand the operational growing pains of a new business; everything will come together nicely over the next few months at which point we will be kicking into another gear and updating more often and synchronously across all communication channels. For now, the best way to keep in contact with the team is through the Slack channel and the community email mentioned above.

4.      Distribution: There are still tokens that need to be distributed. Unfortunately there was an issue with users submitting their token addresses which created a delay. We also had technical difficulties with the August 5th distribution and that has created some further delay. I would like to issue a formal apology to those users who are still waiting. The communication has been slow because we are spread across multiple time zones; but the communication is a necessary step, of course, and will improve as we work on getting into our new office space. Your tokens will be sent out as soon as possible. The market cap will also be calculated after the final burn is completed.

What wallet do you use? I use myetherwallet and once i add a new custom token, it stay there until i removed it manually. If you're using mist, erc 20 token dissapear everytime you reopen the wallet is a known issue and still being fixed by the developer.

I won't trust any information from Slack channel now, so many fake information coming out of that medium and is hurting the space, I will rather trust medium like Twitter handle.

1.Fill exchange ETH address

2.Select the XID token amount you want and click on the tab and wait for the default gas price to change or you can set 100k for faster transaction (just like 0.0005 BTC or 0.001 BTC miner fee)

3.No advanced data is necessary here.

3.Once done you are good to go.

and don't forget to lower the gas price before you open your wallet, you will pay much less ( for example you can change 21gwei to 10gwei, the transaction will take some minutes but there is no problem and you pay less fees)

Many thanks for help to both of you.
I managed to transfer the tokens. The transfer cost was 10x smaller than estimated (so it was 0.30$ instead of 3$). This left me with some ETH in my wallet which I managed to also transfer back to an exchange.
All in all it's a success, despite the horror stories I've read on reddit Smiley

Wow Sad 0.1 ETH is ... 30$. Is token sending so expensive?!
I've got something similar somewhere (it was actually 0.5 ETH) and I thought I misunderstood it.

Is there a way to calculate more exactly how much ETH I need? I mean that even 1 day to have the transaction processed is OKay, as long as it gets processed at all.
Also, I am using MyEtherWallet (I can actually used whatever wallet you recommend); if I set the amount = the number of XID I have and I select XID instead of ETH from the combo box I am good to go? As I said, I don't want to do something wrong and lose them all. They're not a fortune, but still...

Thanks for your help so far.

Make that 0.01 ETH, it would hardly take fewer gas fees.

Check this sample transaction

https://etherscan.io/tx/0x7495acaf3586e0741ddb17af5b3b3427a8bacb18e19250643fd63fba14b709b7 and the gas price in ether used.

I just said 0.1 ETH to have it ready if there are different tokens in the wallet.

OK, 0.01 ETH sounds much better.
The transaction doesn't help much since it sends ETH and not tokens. And I don't really know how to read it.

In MyEtherWallet I'll fill:
To address: the exchange address.
Amount to send: my amount; and I pick XID from combobox.
Gas limit: 10000

Can you please check for me if this is what I have to fill and what amount of Gas to write?
Is there anything else to set since is a token (and not ETH) transfer? (Advanced/Add data?!)

Thanks again.

I need some help.

I've got some XID (from the bounty) and unfortunately I have to convert them into fiat.
Just I am quite lost with ETH. It's the ecosystem I somehow kept avoiding.

So.. I have an ETH wallet with only these XID in them and I have to send them to Cryptopia.
Do I need ETH at all? What is that Gas? Or even better: is somebody kind enough to guide me in this?
As you can see I'm quite lost. And since I've read on reddit that if I do something wrong (I didn't understand what) my tokens are lost forever, I better ask for guidation...

Or should I ask in the ETH threads?

Let me help you out.

First, you need some ETH to send the XID to other ETH address/exchange ETH address. This ETH is called gas which is the transaction fee.

So add some 0.1ETH to your wallet and if you are using myetherwallet, it determines the gas price by own when sending a specific amount of coins.

If not you can set a default gas value of 100k when sending the tokens and it should reach within a few minutes.
