I couldn't find anything either when I researched this coin, does it have any development at all?

All is too late, for a long time this coin has no activity whether it's news updates or some sort of event, I try to check into coinmarketcap there is no data that can be displayed for exchange.

All know that about this shitcoin, but many people have the AMP on a exchange and no one can withdraw it! A offline "desktop" wallet isn't available to withdraw the Coins from the exchanges? Thx

Amp is no longer tradable on any stock exchange, the trade was closed everywhere. so the amp team have all scamed. Therefore, I am of the opinion that there is no pump or something similar!

If the old devs open source the app then it's possible for a community takeover, the goals of Synereo were very achievable, why the team failed is a bit of a mystery, but a community run reboot might not run into the same problems.

Guys, Even if Project is shutdown currently. because of some issue. we can bring it back. currently its not open source . but if few devs with experience come forward and take over. we can bring life back here. team willing to make it open source if someone ready to take charge and continue to develop.
this can be cool app with real utility. content monetization have long term future. and largest userbase. this can be real alternative to many apps we currently use. this is more than just tipping platform. here every stackholder can get  based on contribution .i dont have money or contacts to buy this whole from Dor and restart again. this project have real usecase that why i am still trying even after founder left. it doesnt have to be completely decentralized. because privacy is not main focus here. Bittrex and Latoken still have AMP listed just trading is not happening right now.

I'm still rooting for this coin.  One of the better projects out there and work is always being done, as far as I can tell.  

Most things have been in a lull over the last 18 months as far as community involvement, but hoping this will change in the
