It wasn't on the exchange when I submitted a ticket an hour ago.

It is on there now.

I'll trust you looked but..

thee was no tweet about closing the galaxy market which big vern would do cause you know.. money.

there is no announcement ont he page, or on the wiki about turning it off or on.

unlike the dogecoins where there were issues and he is fixing those.. and unlike star coin which was disabled shortly and now reenabled.

Just saying if it was down, it wasnt official and wasnt for long. The coin is fine.. the developer.. not so sure about.

and sorry but FUD hurts a coin more than a dead developer.

WTH are yall talking about.

GALAXYCOIN is on cryptsy still

am I missing something? I sold my left over yesterday or day before.

just generated a new addy

and checked the exchange

price right now is 0.00000424 BTC

last trade 30 second ago.

and yall are sending in support tickets to get it put back on?

and really i think only solidcoin is the only coin that actually died.. I could be wrong, its been ages.. and yeah you supposedly can still exchange that shit on coinhunters site but god if I know how to get it there.
Coins just seem to get really sick and never actually die.

Great; GalaxyCoin is still alive and well.

And you can still mine on my pool at http://galaxypool.chriskoeber.com.

On the latest blockchain.

Looks like 50% orphans.

What Pool is on the right chain and what nodes are?

And is there a downloadable QT wallet?

As for the QT Wallet, try this link.

I am on the right chain; the orphans happen when multipools swoop in on the extremely low difficulties...

Hmm... so it is close to the end of this coin? Because now is no exchanges which supports GLX, or iam wrong?

I put in a ticket with Cryptsy to ask about the removal of GalaxyCoin.

We will see.

Who know what is going on with Galaxycoin on cryptsy? Today market GLX/BTC is not avaliable. So it looks like exchange GLX to BTC is impossible...

There is something weird going on with the network: share rates go up and down -- looks like some huge multipool comes to mine from time to time which results in difficulty spikes. Then they go away and difficulty goes way down. Rinse and repeat.

Someone needs to fix their software, as this is not doing any service to their users, nor to the coin.

Well, you are mostly right. Except for the part where you think it's a pool. My software solo mines this coin when diff goes below 1.5 and switches to other coins whenever it goes above. No sense in wasting any time on this coin above 1.5. I can usually knockout double digit blocks blocks everytime the diff crashes and spend 95% of my time on some other coin.

Any updates on a new client? We could also use some changes on how difficulties are calculated.

FYI, my pool at http://galaxypool.chriskoeber.com/ is still running.

VARDIFF Support, no fees, prop payouts, and stratum based mining.

Review the stats from all of the blocks found and post how many coins that account has made.

You can keep monitoring as long as you like; those stats are publicly available.
