If you're looking for a fast, working GLX pool, head over to glx.poolofpools.com (stratum+tcp://glx.poolofpools.com:3333). Our coding genius (footlongc) figured out what the problem was, fixed it, and found a block--no more stratum errors to steal your hashes.

Created an account, but your system has not sent out the confirmation email. Been waiting quite some time. Missing out on the bonus Sad

Hour later, still no conf email.

Just found your account record and unlocked it. You're ready to mine.

It might have been your email client's settings, but whatever the reason, we're sorry for the trouble and hope you come mine with us.

That's odd, Overspeed.

Check your spam folder? It shouldn't end up there, because we have our email keys set, but it might have anyway depending on your email client.

If you find it, email yourpoolofpools at gmail dot com and we'll straighten out your bonus.

Hope to see you online soon!

Don't ask me to explain it in any more detail than that; he's the one who speaks computer.

As a side note, we're running a promotion at our Pool of Pools pools (say that three times fast) through midnight CST tonight: come mine with us and earn 1 coin per hour per megahash for up to four hours. For more details, see our launch thread here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.4027359.

New pool launched!

Your pool isn't reporting blocks found, nor paying anything out. I found several blocks while testing out your pool. Your website seems unable to see any of it.
Yeah, looks like something is wrong with the pool:

Same username/password/workers work on all of our pools.

who can recommend a pool to mine this coin ?

Hoping that someone takes on management of the coin and fixes the QT checkpoint issue. Otherwise still a nice coin to mine. Lets hope the global crypto crash rebounds soon.

That's really nice! Fixed faster than I thought.

Just generated an address myself and had a successful transaction as well.

Now, all we need is a nice and stable pool to mine in  Roll Eyes

My transfer finally arrived. Subsequent transfers went through in minutes. Generating new addresses is working now.

Hey,

Just wanted to inform all that I was able to generate wallet address and coins are coming through to cryptsy, no fork.

I´ve got a picture! Haha!
No, the people who are mining are doing it on the right coin and not any hard fork.

I also get a lot of rejected and unconfirmed payments (most of them actually), but from what I've read it's because someone else has found the same block just before you and told the network before you did. There's a great big pool, with closed registration, that is mining this coin atm. So I guess that's why it's such hard for us solo miners. I heard from a friend that they're still lack of power for their servers, so they'll probably won't open their registration in a time very soon.
So, no one here who can start a GLX coin pool? Where we can join our forces and get some coins, becaus the coin sure ain't dead Smiley

I've also got response from the people over at Cryptsy and they're saying that they have some problem with the coin but are on to fix it atm. Probably within 24 hours.

I must agree with You now, my transfer of 256 GLX finally landed on Cryptsy (after almost 4 days), so the coin is probably taking new breath  Smiley

Oh I see. Can you describe the difference between orphans and stales? This is probably something I should know. Thx.

Grrr, solo mining at the moment, have solved many blocks (I get the notification in cgminer as well as the taskbar notification popup) but none are actually showing in my wallet. WTH?

Theese all are orphans - I've had more than 70% of them before I decided to quit mining this left for dead and probably dying coin

Old checkpoint does not prevent solo mining but any coins generated seem to be useless because blockchain is forked. No deposits to Cryptsy are getting through.
