Just downloaded YACminer, how do you guys set it up for Ultracoin? Can I just modify my existing cgminer .bat file to work for YACminer?
Yes, in my humble opinion YACminer has been my most successful way to mine UTC. Give those guys and especially Thirtybird a big thanks for what they have created. Scrypt Chacha should be viewed as a family. Chacha is the future! I'm buying YaCoin as well.You should be able to tweak out your GPU settings if you follow the mining pool settings all the while using Thirtybirds updated YaCoin miner download. https://github.com/Thirtybird/YACMiner/releases

For many people the wallet maybe the only interaction the devs and community have with the miner so it might be a good way to differentiate our wallet from all the other alt-coins. Here are some ideas:

Can the stake mining/coin control be explained more for none miners. I really want to make sure I have my POS working

You are missing a letter in your statement. POS is about "minting" not "mining".
Bumface has already given info about it's implementation on thread page 689. I was curious about the same issue back then. Thanks to Wirly's insight along with Bumface's official post, I now know how to utilize its features. See thread page for 692 for updated questions answered that I think will help you understand it at least the way I do!
I haven't downloaded the new wallet yet, so I can't wait to see it's new "clickable" mint unlock tab.
If I'm allowed to say, thanks b3da for the idea, if it wasn't already known to the Dev's in the new wallet update.

Edit: and now I see why. @ Bumface, any chance to edit your wallet update info release that currently says "Add stake mining checkbox." with "Add stake minting checkbox"?

2: delete everything in the appdata/ultracoin folder BUT NOT THE WALLET.DAT
3: download this file XXX and drag the .exe into your wallet folder (not into the appdata/ultracoin folder)
4:click the ultracoin-qt.exe file and it will re download the entire blockchain.

Rolled over to ybcoin fork.
Added new databse on intial start of new client.
Added Polish Language pack.
Added POS Start and POW block end heights.
Updated Checkpoints and stake modifiers
New splash.
Logo on wallet added.
Add stake mining checkbox.
RPC call listlatesttx to list latest tx.
Print more stake info while stake reward exceeded.
added support for pool mining in wallet

the current schedule is 4 years mining with blockreward 15, then 2 years blockreward 10.During these 6 years the pos reward is 20%.when these 6 years are over the coin will go 100% pos,and the pos-reward will indeed go down until all UTC has been destributed.Active nodes will then have to be rewarded from transaction fees.

Are you positive the staking will work? has it been tested? As of now you have plenty of time, but I'd make sure you don't get any surprises when that year comes around.
