In relation to our multipool problem I have come across https://hashco.ws/ and they give the ability to pay out in altcoins. I will send them an email and urge for UTC being added as an option. Hope more will do the same!  Smiley

thats the same guy

That is responsible for the current multipool ?

This should be a Golden opportunity for you to present UTC to the world... Jus don't know if there's enough time for that! It Should be just amazing!
And its in Amsterdam...

yes it is a wonderfull opportunity, we had a very positive time in Sweden with many new contacts..

unfortunatly we do not have a budget to attent this time...

We can not keep asking people for donations,we will have a budget for these things in the future Smiley
I remember the IPO money is about 80btc,is it used up?

there were a lot of partners who turned out to be alot less dedicated then originally planned, they quickly ran for the hills with a giant portion of the IPO

The portion of the IPO that i had recieved has been re invested into scrypt asics, and that plan should begin to bear fruit within a few months.

The logic behind this investment is that its better to have money coming every month then it is to spend in once , and its gone.

If you find this an odd desicion because UTC is asic resistant, the power cost in the netherlands is just to high (29 cent kw)

Can the stake mining/coin control be explained more for none miners. I really want to make sure I have my POS working

funsponge,
You are missing a letter in your statement. POS is about "minting" not "mining".  Smiley
Bumface has already given info about it's implementation on thread page 689. I was curious about the same issue back then. Thanks to Wirly's insight along with Bumface's official post, I now know how to utilize its features. See thread page for 692 for updated questions answered that I think will help you understand it at least the way I do!
I haven't downloaded the new wallet yet, so I can't wait to see it's new "clickable" mint unlock tab.
If I'm allowed to say, thanks b3da for the idea, if it wasn't already known to the Dev's in the new wallet update.

Cheers to all Dev's, UTC miners, arb-holder's, and POS minter's!!

 Grin

The idea came from yacoin

Cool, didn't know that. Beave162, the whole scrypt-chacha system is a family and has a future. I will be buying YaCoin in the future as well to diversify my investments. As I'm a small GPU miner that want's my GPU investment to flourish. YaCoin is obviously a safe bet from the ASIC storm about to hit. Hope you can agree that other investors reflect my views as well.
If YaCoin created clickable minting tab, then thanks for allowing us to implement it as well! Again, I respect YaCoin, as do I respect Hobonickels for coin control.

Cheers!

Just the beauty of open-source. I am not some authority figure of/for YAC. Joe_Bauers developed checkbox stake minting and Groko also develops code, and there were two different 'official' developers previous to them. There is a very decentralized theme with YAC. Even you can make github changes to the official website if you wish.

Chacha is awesome, and it will be interesting to see how these scrypt asics go down.

I'm pretty sure coin control was first implemented for bitcoin...

Okay thanks for the info, forgive my noob status on the original creators and creations - I got into crypto only 3 months ago.  Grin
Agreed! I'm even starting to worry that there are too many X11's to a point where they will get Asic "borged" next. But I don't own any X11's so it will be fun to watch in the coming months. Looks like Chacha and Groestl are the true bag holding futures for GPU investors/miners - which I think are still the vast majority of miners in cryptocurrency. So big changes should take place!!

Edit: and now I see why. @ Bumface, any chance to edit your wallet update info release that currently says "Add stake mining checkbox." with "Add stake minting checkbox"?

The new wallet looks great, gimme gimme gimme  Grin

The dev has already tested the wallet extensively, but i always test it myself before releasing to ensure the safety of our community and their coins.First i test it on an old notebook, then i send coins from an un-updated wallet to an updated wallet to see if the chains communicate. As a final test i update my wallet with 150k to be absolutely certain the Ultracoin community can update without problems.

so in short: you will have to wait a bit longer ^_^

Has the PoS minimum age been reduced yet or is it still 365 days?
