people are slowly but steadly selling this coin...sell now and cry later..i'm very bullish on this one

I dumped my bag last week and that too at a loss since I bought at 1.2x ICO initially. Unfortunately the opportunity cost in crypto is very real. I have been able to double my money and recover all my losses within a week of dumping. You can keep holding Bancor but it doesn't make sense in the short term. If the price does start trending upwards, one can easily jump right back in because it moves very slowly and is not going to spike 100% in a day.

I avoided this ICO because of many reasons but this article sums up the problems very well. This was bringing banking and fractional reserves to crypto. Similar to the announcement that derivatives will start being sold. This is bad for all of us and allows manipulation beyond what the exchanges and small whales are doing.

If you are holding Bancor or thinking of buying it, take a few minutes and read this

This is old, and was debunked, read this - https://blog.bancor.network/this-analysis-of-bancor-is-flawed-18ab8a000d43 .
Also Bancor is working pretty well since the ICO and it's the best proof that Emin was wrong.

Bancor is working alright but the big problem is that people are not in crypto to see a smooth straight line on the charts. We love the volatility because that's what makes us money. Since Bancor is not able to provide that, you can see people losing interest in BNT which is manifesting in the BNT/ETH ratio constantly declining.

There is nothing you can do about it really, and I think when the platform will be fully operational, the interest will come back. Seriously, there are hundreds of pump&dump coins to choose out there, doing 50% up or down daily. Does every project/coin has to be 'get rich quick/loose all quick' scheme? I'd say NO!

Exactly. Most of the coins now and then go up and down up to 30-50% in one day. This means they are not the coins they pretend to be. They are entirely speculative assets. Stuff for people who like to gamble. But then if you lose all your money don't whine. You like to go to a casino? Fine. But be not surprised at some point to lose all your money. Bancor's price is down? Yes, less than 20% vs Ether, but it took two months to slide that much, not 2 hours, like the other coins often do. When Bancor's apps will start to work, expect the price to go up, and for good reasons, not because someone is pumping it for the purpose of dumping it a few hours later.

One Token to Move Anything Anywhere
Well this token is definitely a long term holding.
Cannot really flip with this kind of stable price

I have noticed that also. It is among the most stable.

Long term?
What will make the future price rising? How much can Bancor go? Any idea?

I think that bankor without any problems can cost $ 10 this year, if they really go somewhere else

Is it true the bancor will be on multiple smart contract platforms? If so, how is that possible?

Last update what was couple of weeks ago in that it was told that development is going very well and this month was supposed to let some fresh updates in tokenchanger related. But their priority was to complete the all legal requirements to make sure there is no issue left at that end before releasing more for public. I think it will not take long time now.

This project caught my attention a while back, but too scare to enter ico because the high cap and the hype, glad i didnt join it during ico.
But i still believe in the potential for this coin in long term.

Will buy few now and store in cold wallet.

Good for a long term investor , the price cant really go wayy more below this for long time. It will definitely grow later on.

can someone give us an update on this coin? What is going on with its team?

Right now the team is working on implementing first tokenchanger - GNOBNT - on the Bancor Network. It's a lot of work I suppose, both programming and legal stuff too. They also want to make it easy to use for even unexpierenced users, so we have to wait a little bit longer. But once they manage to launch it, the next tokenchangers shouldn' take too much time to add, so it will be like a milestone for the whole project.

The price is so stable that it's getting boring Smiley

Well this probably not a desirable short term investmnt ,
They looking to create a stable company, hence the price doscovery methid they use really great for their developmnt in future

Good for them but not too good for us. When other icos are making their investors 5 to 10 times in a month, will bancor take 5 years to make 5x?   I am beginning to question my decision. Did I help them too much in investing in such a high  cap ICO? Smiley
If I wanted stable prices, I could have bought gold or real estate, not dabble in cryptos

Never do a very closed ICO higher than 6 million to 7 million USD! Maybe not kidding. It's so much, and not too greedy to be a person.
