When will Bancor listed on Exchanges? any announcement about exchanges? It is the most hyped and most successful ICO ever. GNO was listed even in Polo within few days after ICO. I think Its is necessary to list on big volume exchanges like Bittrex, Polo for the longterm success of the project.
Er no its not exactly, if you grasp the concept you wont say like this, the bancor app/ smart contract more important for the success of the project.
For the investor to flip-yes exchanges is important.

 From Devs last update.
'Right now we are hard at work focused on deploying trading so everyone can start moving their BNT around and buying and selling directly from the smart contract.'

They gonna let the apps/smart contract to go live so that people can trade.

At same time people can transfer their BNT to exchanges.
But  Bancor is not actively pursuing relationships with them

Guy said previously that exchanges will primarily be useful to serve the non-Ethereum based pairs, such as BTC <-> BNT. And also hinted at them acting as an entry for those not comfortable with wallets etc.

Only buyers who didn't take the time to understand bnt would want exchanges involved. I would like to see no exchange offer it, let the smart contract go live with eth and some other major coins as reserve tokens and let the brilliance of this idea sink in.
There are about 40 million ico tokens (80m total) I expect to see the total bnt to be 200m+ this year easy, you can do the math to figure out what that would do to the value.

I'm eager to start using this new form of smart tokens.

My idea I had today in the car was to approach my local chamber of commerce in Lafayette, Indiana. I think it would be awesome to start a Lafayette Dollar or whatever they want to call it.. that has other tokens in it as exchange.

I would then have them help me go around town and setup local buisnesses with their own tokens to use as customer rewards points that the customers could then exchange for rewards at any of the other local buisnesses that wanted in on the system..  just like bancor was intended to be used..

Is this really already setup where there is a smart phone app that can be used at the counter that is quick and easy?? That's what the project needs to succeed. It's got to work and be quick and easy.

I have tried the demo but i don't think it's intuitive enough yet.

How the Bancor network will work?
Do I need to open an account to us it?

It's much easy to create account on this network just connect your social media and that's it. Bancor will provide the solution for liquidity issue and you can easily convert your token from one to another that's decentralized network.

The snake which cannot cast its skin has to die
Can someone explain whether this goes beyond multi-way exchanges?

Eg, let's say that I want to trade ether for nubits, and there is no one on the other side of the exchange. But there is someone who wants ether and will give up siacoin for it, and there is a third person who wants siacoin and will give up nubits. A 3-way exchange could be made. Additional multi-way exchanges (4-way, etc) could also be done, and all of these would effectively increase liquidity.

But I am getting the idea that the Bancor protocol goes beyond this, and will create reserve tokens even in the absence of any multi-way exchange? Is this right, or is Bancor simply facilitating multi-way exchanges?

So no one seems to understand how it works, but many people are eager to invest in it...

Bancor is basically just a simplified exchange (with a bit of a social network built in). There's no bidding system, just a token with a price. It's meant to simplify token exchanges while increasing liquidity of less traded tokens (since there's no bidding system to wait on). It's the perfect system for someone who isn't a day-trader (someone who doesn't need all the charts/graphs for trend analysis).

The only negative I can think of with Bancor is that it isn't decentralized (at least I don't think so?). So it's still possible for their entire system to crash/have downtime, and you can bet your ass they'll have arbitrage bots working full time in the background picking up any profits possible (between them and the main exchanges).

Actually the system is fully decentralized

Ahh that's good to know, there's not really any downsides to the system then.

If it's decentralized though, then where is the UI for the Token Changers/Baskets/ETFs hosted? Would it be possible for the Bancor network to be taken down, and no one have access to the UI to make trades? That's the only part I haven't figured out yet.

Thanks for the response. Smiley

Substantial price increases do not automatically qualify something to be in a bubble.

No but such increases coupled with the fact that we're all pretty much angel investors (most of us with substantially less money of course lol) does kinda reveal the bubble.

We're talking about a bunch of us 'valuing' projects at incredibly high valuations without even proof of concept most times...it's insane!

That said...I'm pretty sure all the FANG stocks still do well which if THEY havn't popped by now with the bullcrap non-revenue model then I could see crypto going 10 more years before we start saying this is scary!

I keep expecting 2-3 more years of wild valuations on ICOs and insane quick gains in value but who knows it could end in a month it could end never!

Can be shared bounty details
Signature campaign? For facebook campaign and twitter campaign
In the link I read there is no limitations of participants and details about the rate.

ICO is over, bounty campaigns are over. At least for now.

I tried to get in to the ICO but sent the ETH from an exchange so they canceled my .5 ETH. The strange thing is, I do not know how to get the ETH back. Does anyone have any idea? I also was looking to gamble on buying some BNT if anyone has any to sell.
As a side note, I put in a whole 2 LTC to a new ICO the affiliate link is here https://cryptoping.tech/ico?i=17361 it aids in trading Crypto. I think it should be popular. Who knows?  Huh

Cryptoping looks interesting. I like the concept.
