BitcoonABC team is working on fixing the BTC/BCH address confusion issue.

https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-ml/2017-November/000472.html

Have to hand it to these guys - they work hard and they know their sh*t.
It's such a HUGE contrast to the Kore team trolling around on Twitter and gossiping like a bunch of old hens drinking lemonade.

Clean Code and Scale

This is the exact reason BTC has a whole 2 week difficulty adjust and not some short quick if no hashing is available downward adjust

The EDA was designed to stop the bcash chain dying and now it's being used against it because now the EDA is allowing the old chain to be mineable on lesser hardware and being used to attack9

Im not sure on the legibility but there was talks that the EDA could actually cause a chain reorg where the SPV wallets could start following this EDA chain over the DAA one

OK lemme get this straight, a fork that is 100 blocks behind the main chain is a threat how? And someone is going to replay transactions on this sh!tchain and anyone will care? That chain is not a coin,  it's worthless! I really hope you're not losing too much sleep about that. Or, maybe you should convince an exchange to list that defunct chain?

Also how is your Bitcoin Gold investment faring? I tried to tell you to GTFO before the dump.

Looks like Vitalik got some death threats? Or he just can't take anymore whining... I thoroughly enjoyed his twitter threads taking apart Kore devs piece by piece - they were sabotaging him so much he built his own chain...

100 blocks behind with the EDA dropping the difficulty fast then all it needs is some more hashing power and it can get through a full 2016 period in a matter of days

remember when cash was so far behind btc and the eda helped it get 9000+ infront well the same can happen here

As for gold im good thanks it was all free and the extra I have gained was mined for next to nothing minus the little bit I bought I am well in front

You're right, the chain could become longer quickly with empty blocks... but again, if there is no support, no coin.  My guess would be that anyone mining it is just trying to FUD BCH.

Furthermore, weren't you the one who was screaming about BCH hyperinflation when the blocks were coming too fast? You can't have it both ways.

Glad you got out of Bitcoin Gold. That's one that even I was tempted to short...

Question would be: Is it economical relevant ?  Is there a market and so pays for the miners ?

I cannot see - so miners will starve here.

Was about to post this - it's a shocking statistic!  People correctly pointed out that you can create a transaction with multiple inputs, effectively "unfreezing" the balances, but then your transaction gets bigger and it's time for a bigger fee... somebody estimated that 25% of UTXOs are "underwater", ie. unable to be spent because the fee is higher than the total amount.

LOL somebody asked "Why are u even using Bitcoin"? Classic Kore-troll response. The retort: "I won't be much longer, I'm running out of time to cash out"...

I saw the discussion you had with tek yesterday about this issue, the answer he gave about throwing some hashing power at btc to solve this frozen fees problem did not convince me.

Bitcoin cash is the store of transaction, if bitcoin claims to be the store of value. BCH is much faster and stable on network. I think it will surpass ETH's market cap again.

I second that.

Anyone have any news on the Segwit2X going ahead

Quote
Bitcoin Withdrawals to be halted at 6pm (SG Time) due to Segwit2x Fork
Dear User,

Kindly note that we will be halting all withdrawals of Bitcoin at 6pm (Singapore Time) today, 17th November 2017.

If you wish to move any Bitcoin, kindly do so before the stated time.

Why is Coinhako halting withdrawals?

A group of miners have decided to go ahead with the Segwit2x and Bitcoin will be faced with another fork at block 494784.
This is estimated to occur at 10pm to 12am (Singapore Time), 17th November 2017.

Last week, the Segwit2x development team announced they would no longer continue with the project.
In addition, a significant portion of miners and other community leaders withdrew their support for the fork.
However, despite these developments, a small number of miners may attempt to go forward with a fork.

Not Safe to move Core's Bitcoin Around today unless you do it way before the forked block.
Then prepare for it to be frozen for a few hours , until a winner is decided.

Bitcoin Cash as usual is safe to use all day.   Smiley

The BilderBerg Group owns Blockstream which pays the Bitcoin Core Developers. Bitcoin is being run by the elites. You all that think your beating the banks buy buying Bitcoin. Decentralized really? Do you want to know who "Satoshi Nakamoto" really is? Research what "Satoshi Nakamoto" means in Japanese aka "Central Intelligent". I don't know any agency that goes by that name. Did you know Gavin met with the CIA then Satoshi vanished shortly afterwards not to be heard from again. Do your own homework people. Trust but verify is the motto.  Wink

FYI Bitcoin Cash will survive with the largest miner backing it and Roger Ver. This is just like ETH/ETC debate. BTC fans should go pump their Bilderberg coin and leave the Bitcoin Cash folks alone.

BTC is settlement coin for rich technocrats and corporations including the BBG and others.

BCH is Bitcoin as defined in the white-paper as a peer-to-peer digital cash system (for everyone) not just rich technocrats.

BTG is Bitcoin because every CPU means every CPU/GPU/ASIC possible not just ASIC. BCH is much more centralized than BTG today.
