*Brute force will solve any Bitcoin problem*

on another note looks like the miners have finally thrown in the towel and gave up last block 3 and a half hours ago now just wait for the EDA exploit to fix the profitability for them they only need to trigger a single reduction to keep parity any more and it will be more profitable and back to hyper blocks

Oh, and BCH hashrate/EDA gaming is fixed. Somebody made an API which allows miners to jump on BCH mining the minute the hashrate drop dramatically - market forces at work...

Can't be working very good its currently on track for 4x difficulty reductions

EDIT: 3 reductions are already locked and guaranteed to happen now (4.15% of BTC) one more and the chain will be operating at a mere 3.32% of BTC Wink
EDIT: Looks like BTCtop has come back so just 3x reductions only 4.15% of BTC is still too low and will almost without doubt be giving close to 1 min blocks

BCH is now officially the weakest its ever been its at its lowest ever value compared to BTC it has never been this low before and the difficulty is also at the lowest it has ever been

this shitcash looks good from \\\.01btc or so Wink bwaa

Popular wallet provider Blockchain (formerly Blockchain.info) has released support for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and credited users with equivalent balances.https://cointelegraph.com/news/blockchaininfo-releases-full-bitcoin-cash-support-users-receive-coins
That's good news for bitcoins cash although many people said bitcoins cash is dead because of the activation of SegWit2x on bitcoins network. Cheesy

Another round of price dump incoming then. Lips sealed

Not really blockchain gives you your private keys so most if not all users will have already split

in other news BTC just surpassed $5300

Make sure you dump all your alts and are 100% in Bitcoin before November 18th for the B2X airdrop

Smart investors know the more bitcoin you own and altcoins you sell , the more of an UTXO airdrop in Nov you will get to dump for more bitcoins. Post split the cumulative value is typically always higher... its just smart investing

And after BCC, we now have MillionBitcoinCash (MBCH, https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/millionbitcoincash-2244959)

Can anyone confirm if this is legit or not? Since the guy behind it is claiming to have been on the BCC team:

Quote
I am Arvind Norberg , I Have 5 years experience on block chain technology.

I am also technical team in Bitcoin cash
when hard fork happend on 1st August and it was big success then we expected .

Is there someone here who can answer my question? Or perhaps point me out to a link regarding the (old?) technical team of BCC?

So is the US$ and every other currency the governments should stop these too

BTW bitcoin cannot be stopped without turning off the internet worldwide

Your BCH wallet is on 'Electron Cash'?
Electron cash is safe wallet for BCH?

ALL my wallets are on a TREZOR hardware wallet

Electron Cash has been around since the split and I have not seen any reported issues so far but that does not mean any exist

It removes ASICBOOST which is bad for Bitmain's monopoly on ASIC hardware manufacturing. That's why they are crying out loud desperately and trying to give the most damage to the original bitcoin with the hopes of gaining control of 80B$ market cap.

Luckily, smart money will always be smart and never feed those retards.

Amen!

And why would we want to do that segwit fixes most if not all of the outstanding bugs that satoshi was struggling with

Honest question what do you have against segwit ?

Honest question what do you have against segwit ?

Segwit weakens Bitcoin's security model

Didn't SegWit increase the block capacity?
https://www.bitcoincash.org/
Even if used in 100% of transactions, the increase would equate to 1.7MB blocks. Thus, it is a small capacity increase at best. It will not handle exponential growth or worldwide usage. Second, the soft fork implementation results in discardable signatures, which weakens Bitcoin's security model. Third, it makes future capacity increases more difficult due to bandwidth inefficiency and quadratic hashing attacks which SegWit doesn't solve since an attacker isn't forced to use it.

For those (and other) reasons, Bitcoin Cash was necessary as a pre-SegWit fork. Segwit will not be adopted.

Is that the best you can come up with some BS articles I could come up with a list of articles that list technical reasons on why increasing the blocksize is bad does that make it a valid reason.

Did you even read tec-bro? You've got a long way to go to fully understand this technology. MartinGandhiKennedy was nice enough to paste you a dump of some pretty well-researched academic work that shoots Segwit full of holes, and you want to reply 10 minutes later that you've still got all the answers? Lrn2google and educate yourself.

Here's a 20 word summary for you: Segwit is 6000 lines of code that will haunt Kore/BTC to the grave. Lightning doesn't exist and won't ever work.

I suggest you adjust your thinking accordingly.

Someone needs to learn to read too  Roll Eyes

segwit is in the wild securing a lot of money currently over 10% of all btc transactions are segwit on and has been active on litecoin for years with 0 reported issues

That is not the definition of fixed, fixed would be that they cannot game the system anymore not that they can game it more accurately there are currently talks of removing it altogether
